I got my own dog when I settled down in my own space after college, starting at 8 weeks as a puppy! I had the privilege of having him in my life for over 13 years, even after a cancer diagnosis when he was 10. I have experience caring for him after surgeries and into his golden years, and he was given 6-9 months, so happy that we got 3 more years out of him! After losing him in March, I’m not quite ready to take on another pet, but am happy to love up on your fur babies when needed! I work in an office part time and have a flexible schedule, so I am happy to do morning walks and prep their food before going in. I get home at a decent time in the evening as well. I love going to the dog park or sunset walks as well. I have a fenced in patio if your pet likes to be outdoors, and open space with lots of grass just steps outside of my patio. With my dog we would go on several walks during the day, and he could cruise outside if he preferred to. I allow pets on my couch and bed if they’d like, and have several dog beds to choose from in my home.
