“April is a very nice person, patient with the animals, respectful of our home and communicated with us when needed. This was our first time using Rover or ever having someone watch our pets (and home) ! April made us feel at ease and we appreciate her time. We recommend and we will hire again if she’s available.”

“Lauriel, Thank you so much for taking care of my furry babies this weekend! You have been the best puppy sitter I have gotten from this app! Thanks again, and we hope to see you soon! Alba”

“Casey was nothing but fantastic with our dogs. She came for a meet and greet first and both dogs took to her immediately. But what was best was, while housesitting with them at Thanksgiving, she took their individual personalities into account while dealing with them. She kept us up to date with photos and texts and, when questions came up, she not only raised the question but often had a suggested approach that paralleled how we would have solved it. It's hard to think of anyone I would trust more with our dogs. I recommend Casey without hesitation.”

“Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful with Wrigley! I will definitely use her again! She was extremely reliable and sent lots of happy pictures!”

“Silvia was great! Very responsible and my dog loved her. I was gone 3 nights and I think my dog was actually disappointed when I came home and Silvia left. I would give Silvia 5+ stars.”

“Liz did a great job caring for our large crew of 2 dogs and 3 cats! She was responsive and her calm confidence was reassuring, especially given that we were "off the grid" for some of our trip. She also coordinated the handoff of responsibility with a friend who was petsitting for some of the time we were gone. I appreciated that she sent pictures when she arrived, and left a note to let us know how things went. We also had a flight delay on the way home, and she was willing to stick around to make sure the pets were cared for in case we were further delayed. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've had at least one dog in my life for the last 25 years. It has always come naturally to me. I thrive in multi-dog households. I grew up with a Great Dane, have had many cattle dogs, a beagle / chihuahua mix, and now have my big boy: husky / shepard / great pyrenees mix. I've taken all of my dogs to multiple obedience classes and love speaking with them using their language. I easily connect with all dogs regardless of size. I've even spent some time utilizing my animal communication and healing skills on many pets (dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens, etc.) I live a grounded, spiritual life and have a way of connecting with animals that is not very common. I have the utmost compassion for all animals and I let them tell me what they need. However, I'm not a pushover. I do enforce behavior etiquette as needed, gently. I'm currently on career bed rest, so I have a fairly open availability. It's rare that I have timed appointments, but I do keep myself busy and enjoy to live in the flow of life. I have done and seen it all. I'm comfortable with fenced yards, leash walks, crates, gates, dry food, wet food, raw food - you name it, I've got you. I've never administered injected medication, but can be taught.

“Thanks Mari! Our babes and home were well taken care of during our 12 day trip. She was communicative and very caring. Will definitely continue to rely on Mari for our pet and house sitting needs.”

“Ariel is a great pet/house sitter. She was flexible, responsive, and our dog took to her very quickly, which never happens. We will definitely book her for future dog sitting!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Klaudia! She was punctual, attentive, and so sweet to my pup. She followed all instructions perfectly and kept me updated throughout the stay. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always loved all pets! Grew up raising all kinds of farm animals. I currently have 2 dogs and I love taking them on adventures! I have a hybrid work schedule. WFH 2-3 days out of the week. I am a home body so I am usually at home if I’m not at work. I have plenty of time to focus on my pups! I treat my dogs as if this is their home and want them as comfortable as they can be. My dogs are always allowed on the bed and couches and roam as they please. They eat twice a day and have endless access to potty breaks in the back yard! The most I am out of the house is when I have to go to work, and can usually stop by for lunch and let them potty!

“Claire was great! She stayed in our home and watched our 2 dogs while we were on vacation. She sent regular updates and we came home to a clean home and happy dogs!”

“Jesse did a great job taking care of my dog and cat while we were away. He spent a good amount of time with my animals throughout the day and made sure to send timely updates. My cat was experiencing a health issue and required extra care during our time away and Jesse was very attentive and understanding. We felt very safe leaving our animals in his care. My animals all really enjoyed their time with him.”

“Ava was kind with our dogs and communicated well. She left the house very clean and followed instructions. My male barks a lot at new people but that didn’t phase her any. Appreciate her help!”

About: My name is Daniella. I am 24 years old and working with animals is what my life is about. All my life I have had my own pets and I have also worked at an animal hospital for the past 8 years! I am a college graduate with a degree in Biology and I’m here to make sure your fur babies are happy and safe! I have lots of experience with animals and I love any kind. You have a cat? No problem! 5 dogs? (It’s okay I do too!) consider me to watch your lovely animals! I promise that I won’t let you down! I am currently a full time vet tech! I am free pretty much every Sunday and Wednesday and Saturday afternoons after 3pm. I am off some Mondays as well. I would love to be able to work with your schedule as well! Bringing pets into my home won’t always be an option for me but I am more than happy to stay at your home to watch your fur babies! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats myself so bringing in other pets does not always work well for my little guysz

About: Hi there! My name is Anna and I am an occupational therapist working in the western suburbs of Chicago. I recently lost my 12 year old greyhound named Ringo. I have taken care of many cats and dogs over the years and love to help out when I can. I was a professional dog walker with Windy City Paws where I dropped in on cats and walked many dogs, and I’ve also worked for Wag in the past and have and loved it! I used Rover once before as a consumer and left Ringo for a few nights with a wonderful couple while I visited my family and it worked out so well! I am typically available for walks or drop ins during the week. I love being outdoors and taking care of animals of all kinds and would love to meet yours!! I work as a home health occupational therapist, and my schedule is very flexible. I schedule time with my patients to see them throughout the day, and can schedule my pet appointments that way too! I have been professionally trained to walk and care for dogs by Windy City Paws, and know most leash/collar/harness situations as well as defensive dog walking strategies if I meet a sensitive pup while I am walking a dog.

About: I have had a love for animals since I was a young child. At the age of 8, against my parents wishes I snuck in an abandoned cat and it ended up being where my love for animals began. We have had many types of pets since then. Currently we have a 3 year-old German Shepherd whom we rescued from a shelter at 4 months of age. We also have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super energetic. I love spending time with animals, dogs in particular, because they are so playful, happy and full of unconditional love. I am responsible, caring and will take great care of you pet because I know that they are not only “pets” but are also members of your family. I will care for your pet like I would care for my own pets. I work full-time as a nurse practitioner but just started working some days from home. I figured, why not do something I love while also getting exercise at the same time. Note: the only breed of dog that I will not board in my home are pitbulls. My daughter had a traumatic experience with a pitbull so she is very triggered by that breed. I will gladly watch pitbulls in your home and care for them outside of my home. I think they do get a bad reputation for being an aggressive breed but due to our experience, we unfortunately don’t feel comfortable having them around our children. I am able to mainly available for pet care on the weekends. I am able to accomplish most evening/late evening or very early morning walks. Every other Tuesday I work from home so am able to break up my schedule this day. I care for my dogs in my backyard, which is fenced in. She is able to run around freely because we do have a large yard which allows her to burn off her energy. We also play fetch and she is able to spend a lot of her time running around there. We also go for walks around the neighborhood.

About: I raised two dogs myself, potty trained them, and taught them simple commands. I have babysat for families who own dogs and have cared for them as if they were one of the children. I love to run, and have taken my own dogs running, if you think that would be something your dog would like to/ can do! I am currently a senior at UD, so I have a flexible schedule. I have random classes throughout the week, but can work with clients on how to fit their needs into my schedule. I have a ton of availability on Tuesday, Friday and Sundays; I also am available between 11 and 3 on Thursdays, as well as anytime before 10 on Wednesdays! I care for dogs deeply. In my own home I know my pets well and am able to trust them to roam around freely, however I understand every pet is different, and when I am working for a client to care for their pet I am actively engaged with the animal to make sure they're not getting into anything they shouldn't be.

“Excellent job taking care of my kitties and keep me updated and sent pictures. :)”

About: I am very easy going I love cuddling walking and playing with the animals I am constantly petting and grooming and love giving them treats when deserved Its company, its takes away stress, fun, and loving. It's like having another family member in our household. The animal is like a human and is very enjoyable. I am a very honest, friendly, person. It takes a lot for me to get upset.
