About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I, myself, have had several different dogs - Newfie's, Shar Pei mix, Lab mix, Mastiff mix and currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog. During gatherings with friends, I can be found by the dog. I work from home during the days I "rover" and so your pet will be well taken care of and their needs well managed. Because I have my own dog, your pup will be allowed to join us for our daily car rides with the window down, long walks (at least 2x daily) and if the weather is nice, a splash or two in the kiddie pool. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby the Prairie Path so long walks are often on the daily agenda. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog.

About: 23 years of dedication & genuine love for what I do. I've pretty much done it all except for training. Primarily grooming but also have extensive experience with walking, boarding, day care, home/vacation visits & house sits. I've been a home groomer for the past 8 years but due to allergies, need to switch modes. Over those years I regularly attended workshops & seminars to continue to educate myself & hone my craft. Including certification courses in puppy handling, senior care, proper sanitization, business compliance, skin assessment, & CPR. This only means I have been educated on these subjects, I am not an expert. As mentioned, I was a home groomer so I'll be turning my grooming room into an area for daycare/boarding. I am home based and plan to stay that way. Pets in my home will have a designated area for eating & sleeping but will have freedom to walk about for the most part. Our pup started an antibiotic 3 days before our trip, and she was able to take him, administer all the meds and keep him sequestered until he was no longer a health hazard. In addition, our flight was canceled and she kept C for an extra day at the same rate. We are confident in her abilities and her love for our dog.”

“It was Ari’s first overnight stay after we adopted him two month ago. And in addition he is a very leash reactive dog. So of course we worried. But we shouldn’t have. Joe is very good. He doesn’t just love dogs, he definitely knows their psychology and is a good trainer too. Joe also kept us at ease by sending lots of pictures and videos. Ari was very happy staying there, he got to play a lot with Joe and his dogs and also got his daily cuddles.”
