About: I live in Chicago’s Northwest just outside of O’hare with my 7 year old Boston Terrier-Boxer named Lilly, whom I’ve had since she was 7 weeks old. Before Lilly, I grew up with 2 dogs, both small and large, along with several cats and other pets. I have gone through professional dog training with all 3 of our dogs, most recently with my own puppy. I have always been a dog lover at heart and love taking care of pets. I have dog sat for several of my friends over the years, and I have taken care of dogs ranging from miniature pinschers to Great Danes. I believe in positive reinforcement training and never any punishment, physical harm or yelling. Currently I have open availability as I’m Working as a caregiver to a senior friend. I take all request/rules very seriously when responsible for others’ pets. I am able to travel up to about 5 miles via the CTA and if I have my car, I’m able to drive. I currently have open availability and I like to say I work 11-11, but can take on earlier clients as needed. I am usually running a little late, but I will try to be more punctual! My pets always have fresh water in a clean bowl, and clean food bowls typically fed twice a day with treats throughout. I learned that pets do better eating when you eat, so I’ve taken on that habit.

Currently, I don’t have a dog so you won’t have to worry about another dog’s temperament clashing with your pet. I have all the necessities on hand to make your pup’s stay comfortable, this eliminates the need to lug all your pet’s possessions. I can host up to two small dogs from the same household if under 40lbs each. I have a small but quant and secluded unfenced yard that is set back on the property. I have lots of potted plants, lawn chairs, an outdoor rug, and a raised bed for my annual vegetable garden. It's not much but it’s my little oasis where your pet and I can sit and relax.

I was nervous leaving my two one-year-old cats for the first time for more than a long weekend, but Marlene made it so easy. Her communication was excellent - she sent lots of great photos and videos and let me know whenever she was coming and going, which gave me peace of mind while we were away. She also brought in our mail and packages and left the house spotless. Most importantly, my cats were clearly happy and seem to love her! Sarah is fantastic! We adopted a special needs 4 year old Goldendoodle who suffers from extreme separation anxiety. We had a 2 week trip planned when we hired Sarah to stay at our home to care for our dog. We had Sarah come to our home a couple times to get to know Bella before our upcoming trip and saw that she was very relaxed and loving towards Bella. Although we were a bit concerned leaving Bella, we felt that she was in good hands with Sarah and it turned out that we were spot on! A wonderful house and cat sitter! We were worried about our 6/7 week old kitten but Eren was able to help care for our kitten. We came back to a clean litter box and a happy cat! She even helped with her claws and was careful with her, and we are so grateful both our home and cat were safe with her. Highly recommend!
