“Loren was able to meet us quickly and last minute before they stay. She took great care of our dog and the whole visit went smoothly. Would definitely have her watch the pup again.”

“What an amazing experience with Liz. Took great care of my dog and cat, plus the house was left in exactly the same condition as when we left - she took care of everything like it was her own.”

About: I’ve cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats throughout their full life span, from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior years, including pets with special senior care needs. I’m confident handling large dogs and focus on structured walks, mental stimulation, and enriching playtime. As a psychotherapist, patience, intuition, and compassionate care come naturally to me. My schedule is very flexible I'm currently part time and work from home. I can be available on notice from 9am-10pm. I am able to do daily and weekly care/walking/play. I have a fenced yard. Two cats who are used to visitors and other animals. I can also crate animal if requested, use baby fence and adapt to living requirements specific to client needs.
“Nicholas is hands‑down the best dog sitter my wife and I have ever had on Rover. Truly exceptional. He isn’t just dependable and courteous — he treats our dog with a level of care, enthusiasm, and commitment that blew us away. Our dog has literally walked farther with Nicholas than with anyone else. His average walks were over two hours, and he kept our pup happy, stimulated, and joyfully exhausted every single time. We were amazed by his dedication. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and our dog absolutely adored him. I honestly can’t put into words how incredible Nicholas was. Thank you, Nicholas — you set the bar unbelievably high.”

“Coleen stayed with our animals while we were gone and was amazing. She sent many messages and photos throughout our trip so we knew they were getting the best care. When we got home our dog was tired and happy - a sign of a fun long weekend! We will definitely rebook with Coleen and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Andrea is fantastic! She watched out two dogs and our home for 5 days while we were out of town. She sent many photos and was very communicative, which we really appreciated, and she was so sweet with the dogs. I can tell they were very well cared for while we were gone. We would love to have Andrea back the next time we travel!”

“Tetiana took such wonderful care of our two cats, Dexter and Charlie, while staying at our home. Dexter is a senior cat who needs extra attention and daily supplements, and she went above and beyond by even taking him to the vet for his IV shots. We’re so thankful for the love and care she gave them while we were away. She kept us updated the whole time with messages and photos, which really put us at ease and let us enjoy our trip knowing our little guys were in the best hands.”

“Malcomn was so good with our somewhat tricky dogs (included giving them medication), gave us thorough updates often, and left our home spotless! We had a wonderful experience, will be using him again, and recommend him highly.”

“This was my 1st time leaving my dog for a long weekend and I couldn’t have chosen a better caregiver for him. My Murphy is a rescue & has some anxiety issues but Jo handled him with patience, understanding and love. She tapped in to her knowledge of dogs and put both myself & Murphy at ease. She tried a few new toys/treats with him which he loved and sent me plenty of pics and videos of Murphy throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.”

“Renee was great with our dog Winnie! She sent lots of photos, updates and was flexible on the timing of our sit. Winnie has some anxiety that Renee managed with patience and understanding. We will definitely have Renee sit for us again!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Emma! She was clean, communicative, and very respectful of our space. Our dog was happy and well-cared for when we got home, and it was a relief to know she was in good hands. We’d definitely book with her again!”

“Serenity was a wonderful help with my year old pup! She played and cuddled with him and made sure all his needs were taken care of. She communicated very well and quelled all the anxiety I had about leaving him for more than a few hours. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her for any further help!”

“Stephanie takes great care of Lilah Blue -- he levelheadedness and great communication is especially appreciated when things go a little sideways (thanks to Lilah's obsession with squirrels/rabbits.)”

“Stephanie is amazing! She watched our two dogs and cat at our home over the Christmas holiday. We were thrilled with the care that she provided our fur babies and the detailed and delightful updates she sent us. I was worried about leaving one of our dogs due to her separation anxiety issues, but Stephanie quickly developed a bond with her, as well as the other animals. We had peace of mind knowing that our pets/home were in great hands with lots of cuddles and playtime. We will definitely use Stephanie again for any out of town trip!”

“Kelsey stayed at our home with our two cats while we were on vacation. She took such good care of our boys and our home! She kept us well informed, especially when one of our guys had some tummy troubles. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again! Thank you!”

“Monica is an outstanding sitter! I was in the hospital having a baby and was experiencing so much stress finding a trustworthy person to watch my senior pit bull in my home. He cannot be boarded or crated. My dog has separation anxiety and Monica knew how to calm him because of her experience working at a vet. Unexpectedly, my daughter needed to stay in the hospital and Monica was flexible and understanding. You are a life saver! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking great care of my dog-son.”

About: Hi! My name is heather and I am a total dog and cat lover! No matter the breed, age or quirky personalities I love them all. I used to volunteer at a shelter in Iowa where I spent most of my time keeping the immuno-compromised cats and dogs company as they had to be isolated from the others in the shelter. Since then, I’ve trained my own dogs to be potty trained outside and be comfortable riding in cars. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 10 years. The longest I’ve cat sat was for 10 days and left a personal “journal” for the owners from the cats point of view. The longest I’ve dog sat was 7 days. I love walking dogs, The longer the walk the better so when mom and dad come home they are ready for all the cuddles. I'm bubbly and have been told I'm "high energy" so I love to play with animals but also know when it's time to just relax and be couch potatoes while watching Animal Planet. I've taken care of special needs dogs who are leash aggressive, I've worked with senior dogs who move a little more leisurely and I've worked with puppies - helping them get acclimated to walking with a leash and harness. I’m working full time as a physical therapist but am available to care for your loved furry friend Wednesdays and Fridays after 2:30. I am available Sundays after 1pm. I have a fenced back yard and my little guy loves to run around and chase leaves. Loves to sniff every twig. For my past clients I take their dogs for long walks in their neighborhood, sometimes run with them on lease if they have a ton of energy. I have the animal earn my trust first, put my hands out to sniff, allow them to approach me as I am a guest in their home. I love to lay on the floor with them, let them know I am a trusted friend.
“Anna was sweet and kind. She stopped by for a house visit, do a meet-and-greet, and chat. She was absolutely the right person and will use her again. She kept in touch, sent photos, asked questions if she needed anything, which was rare because she had everything absolutely under control. Do not hesitate to hire Anna!”

O'Hare pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley did a great job staring at our home at taking good care of our 11 year old Staffordshire Terrier. She stayed at our home for a full week and followed all instructions, kept us posted with updates, and provided pictures and videos throughout the stay. She even walked the dog in the freezing cold! We very much appreciated her services and would gladly welcome her back to our home and with our pup!

Alexandra was the perfect match for our dog. He can have pretty bad separation anxiety, but I didn’t have to worry about him with Alexandra. She stayed with him an entire week and was very patient and understanding. She was super punctual, professional, and communicative. She sent me frequent pictures and texts and always responding quickly to messages. We came home to a happy and calm pup and a clean house! Would highly recommend her!

Add did a good job as a sitter taking care of our senior dog with lots of anxiety. She was a good companion for him, especially for overnight stays. This was a much better experience for him than the last drop-off sitter we used. Ann took care of our house and followed most of our instructions very well.
