About: I had a dog for nearly 14 years (RIP little Jockamo) and grew up with several dogs around the house. I pay attention to behaviors and how dogs try to communicate with us. I’m very patient and if you need some assistance with training, I’m willing to help out! Or if you just want someone to keep your dog company, play a bit, and go for a walk, I can do that too. If your dog will be hanging out at my home, we have a small fenced yard, so they can have some off-leash outdoor time! I do require a meet & greet prior. No last min requests please, unless I’ve previously watched your pup. I also have experience with cats and can help out with pop-in visits, but unfortunately I am not able to host cats in our home. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule, so being sure the dogs get enough attention and outdoor time is not a problem at all! I’m a bit of a hover mom when it comes to pets. Haha I always like to know where they are and what they’re doing to be sure they’re not getting into anything that could be harmful.

I was nervous leaving my two one-year-old cats for the first time for more than a long weekend, but Marlene made it so easy. Her communication was excellent - she sent lots of great photos and videos and let me know whenever she was coming and going, which gave me peace of mind while we were away. Sarah is fantastic! We adopted a special needs 4 year old Goldendoodle who suffers from extreme separation anxiety. We had a 2 week trip planned when we hired Sarah to stay at our home to care for our dog. We had Sarah come to our home a couple times to get to know Bella before our upcoming trip and saw that she was very relaxed and loving towards Bella. Although we were a bit concerned leaving Bella, we felt that she was in good hands with Sarah and it turned out that we were spot on!
