Availability

Just like you, I’ve got a work schedule; but the way I like to put it is: I’m simply stepping into your shoes while you’re away. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on your pet and make sure they get plenty of potty breaks, attention, and cuddle time throughout the day. It’s all about keeping their routine feeling as normal and cozy as possible.

Information Stephanie V. would like to know about your pet

For everyone’s safety and comfort, it’s important that your pet is okay being around children, again I do have one son who’s grown up around animals and fully understands the do’s and dont’s of pet sitting. Before we get started, I like to go over a few important details to make sure your pet gets the best care possible: – Do they have any favorite ways to play or activities they enjoy? – Any allergies or dietary restrictions I should know about? – Are they comfortable with strangers, like people passing by wanting to say hello? – How have they done with previous sitters—any incidents or things to be aware of? – Are they on any medications or have special care needs? The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more enjoyable the experience will be for everyone, so if you think you’re writing out too many instructions and things to be aware of, chances are, you’re not.

A typical day

We can enjoy long walks, learn new basic tricks, or just snuggle up together. The activities are entirely based on the pet and their personality, we can be high energy; or we can just relax. My reviews speak for themselves.

Pet care experience

I’ve spent the last 15 years fully immersed in the pet world—working in dog daycares, doing walks, baths, kennel cleaning, playtime supervision (and yes, even the occasional breakup of dog fights when things get too wild). I’ve also worked closely with vets in an animal hospital setting, always asking questions and learning everything I can about animal care and health. I’ve been a lifelong pet parent to both cats and dogs, and I’ve picked up basic puppy training and a strong understanding of dog body language along the way—so I know how to help our furry friends feel safe, happy, and understood. I work from home, which means I can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. One thing to note: my 6-year-old sidekick is always with me. He’s been doing this since birth and is basically a tiny animal whisperer—super respectful of animals and never pushes boundaries. My rates reflect not only my hands-on experience but also my background in animal behavior and health. I treat every pet like my own, and I’m here to make sure your fur baby is well-loved, safe, and having a blast while you’re away.

Stephanie did a great job with our two cats and left a wonderfully clean house afterwards. We adopted our cats fairly recently, so they're still a bit shy with strangers, but she was patient and waited for them to warm up. They seemed really happy by the end of her stay.

We had the best experience with Stephanie. It was our first time using Rover, which we were nervous about, but Stephanie made us feel at ease the moment we met her. We had a 9 day vacation and Stephanie stayed at our home to dog sit for our big 90lb great Pyrenees mix. She was great with our dog, she would send us updates, photos and videos and we can tell our boy was happy the entire time. The effort and care Stephanie put into dog/house sitting for us was above and beyond. She left our house cleaner than we had left it before our trip. We will continue using Stephanie for future dog sitting needs, she has our full trust
