Pet care experience
Work from home mom ❤️
I’ve spent the last 15 years surrounded by animals and have always had a genuine love for caring for them. I’ve worked in dog daycares where I handled everything from walks, baths, feedings, kennel cleaning, and playtime supervision to helping manage large groups of dogs. I’ve even had to break up the occasional dog fight when playtime got a little too wild. At this point I consider myself a pro lol I’ve also worked in an animal hospital alongside veterinarians, which gave me the opportunity to learn more about animal health and care. I’m always asking questions, paying attention, and learning more about animal behavior and what makes each pet comfortable and happy. I’ve been a lifelong pet parent to both dogs and cats, and over the years I’ve developed a good understanding of dog body language, basic puppy training, and how to recognize when an animal needs space, reassurance, or a little extra attention as you can see from my reviews. I work from home, so your pet gets plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day instead of being left alone for long periods of time. I also want to mention that my 7 year old son is usually with me. He has grown up around animals and has been around dogs and cats since birth. He’s very respectful of animals, understands boundaries, and honestly has a pretty amazing way with them. My rates reflect the hands on experience I bring, along with my background in animal care and behavior. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want them to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I want you to be able to relax knowing your fur baby is in good hands.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I like to go over details with pet parents beforehand, get to know the pets favorite things to do, or places to go. That way it’s not such an abrupt change for them when owners are away.
Ratings and reviews
Stephanie has sat for us several times now, and I always know our little crew is well cared for! She send pics/videos and communicates well. She also goes above she beyond to make sure everything at home is in order and clean when we return. She’s my first choice when booking!
Stephanie communicates really clearly and did a great job dropping in to visit our two cats while we were away. They can be shy, but one of them now really loves her. Definitely feel better going out of town and knowing that the cats are well taken care of.

The BEST out there! We have 4 dogs - and that’s not easy for anyone. She does it with ease. Highly recommend Stephanie!

Stephanie did a great job with our two cats and left a wonderfully clean house afterwards. We adopted our cats fairly recently, so they're still a bit shy with strangers, but she was patient and waited for them to warm up. They seemed really happy by the end of her stay.

We had the best experience with Stephanie. It was our first time using Rover, which we were nervous about, but Stephanie made us feel at ease the moment we met her. We had a 9 day vacation and Stephanie stayed at our home to dog sit for our big 90lb great Pyrenees mix. She was great with our dog, she would send us updates, photos and videos and we can tell our boy was happy the entire time. The effort and care Stephanie put into dog/house sitting for us was above and beyond. She left our house cleaner than we had left it before our trip. We will continue using Stephanie for future dog sitting needs, she has our full trust

Very easy to work with, schedule, and depend on! Great with my girl and thank you!!!!

Schedule
Just like you, I’ve got a work schedule; but the way I like to put it is: I’m simply stepping into your shoes while you’re away. Since I work from home, I’m able to keep a close eye on your pet and make sure they get plenty of potty breaks, attention, and cuddle time throughout the day. It’s all about keeping their routine feeling as normal and cozy as possible.

- For everyone’s safety and comfort, it’s important that your pet is okay being around children, again I do have one son who’s grown up around animals and fully understands the do’s and dont’s of pet sitting. Before we get started, I like to go over a few important details to make sure your pet gets the best care possible: – Do they have any favorite ways to play or activities they enjoy? – Any allergies or dietary restrictions I should know about? – Are they comfortable with strangers, like people passing by wanting to say hello? – How have they done with previous sitters—any incidents or things to be aware of? – Are they on any medications or have special care needs? The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more enjoyable the experience will be for everyone, so if you think you’re writing out too many instructions and things to be aware of, chances are, you’re not.
