Caring for dogs is something I’ve enjoyed doing for as long as I can remember. I grew up around animals in Puerto Rico and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a companion animals care certificate, giving me both hands-on experience and formal knowledge in companion animal care. I offer boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy day care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my care to fit their needs and routine. I’m also comfortable with senior dog care, medications, and basic training reinforcement. Since I work from home full-time, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is always to make dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. I also live with My best friend and roommate, Erica, who is also trained and able to care for your pup. So, if you board with us, you can rest assure your pet will have the best care 24/7!

Carla and her roommate were awesome to our puppy! Even after some last-minute, unexpected changes to our travel plans, they were so helpful and accommodating. Carla was amazing, she made sure she had all the information needed to take care of our two cats and dog. She was very communicative and has great attention to detail!
Carla is wonderful! My husband and I both had last minute work trips come up at the same exact time, and Carla was available to watch our two dogs on short notice. She stayed in our home to watch over them since they are both older, and they couldn't have been in better hands. She was diligent, made sure we had care instructions, and sent photos and updates for us through her whole time watching them. My flight was delayed due to weather, and she even stayed a few hours extra to make sure they were taken out and comfortable until I could get home. She was even willing to come back in the evening to give them dinner and take them out again if my flight had gotten delayed even more. She is so sweet, and she left our home in immaculate condition. We will absolutely be reaching out to Carla to take care of our boys again!
Carla and her roommate took such great care of my girl. I had to find care last minute before a trip, and Carla was available and accommodating. She sent regular updates and great pics. Both my dog and I were really happy with Carla and definitely plan to use her again!
Carla is the best when it comes to taking care of my kitty cats! My cats love her, which makes leaving them so much easier.. She is attentive to them, she sends me pictures when I ask, and you can tell she has been around animals all her life. 10/10 would recommend her to my friends!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home with the pet throughout the day and can provide consistent supervision, attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. Since I live close to Portage Park, I’m also able to give dogs plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through walks, outdoor time, and their favorite games. Whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just exploring the park, my top priority is to make them happy. On the rare occasions I do step out, my roommate is home and helps ensure your pet is never left alone.
