About: My husband and I have always been dog people. Growing up he had two labradors and I had a beagle. When we bought our house we adopted a senior lab. We spoiled him as much as we could and loved him unconditionally. After losing Ceasar two years ago, we walked into an animal shelter and that's where our baby, Uru-Kai, stole our hearts. I don't work on weekends, I have holidays off and the summer off. I already have a dog so I know how important it is to stick to a routine. Our current dog goes out on four walks a day. If he needs to go potty because he drank too much water we let him in the back yard. If he seems bored he rings the doorbell to be let in the backyard. When we need to leave the house our dog is put in his crate to ensure that he's safe and stays out of trouble while we're gone.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.
“Super sweet. Definitely my new designated cat sitter. My kitties love her!!! Attentive and communicative. You can tell she loves all the pets she watches.”

“Elva was great with my dogs! She is professional, reliable, always on time, and truly cares about making sure my babies get the most out of their visit. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands, and they were always happy and well cared for after spending time with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog, a senior Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, for the past 15 years. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends over the past 5 years, giving me experience with small, medium and large sized dogs. My own dog is a bit reactive, so I’m also familiar with caring for reactive dogs and being mindful of their individual needs. I recently started fostering a senior dog as well, which has given me even more hands-on experience caring for older pups. I’m excited to provide your dog with the same patience, care, and attention I give my own! I currently have a pretty flexible schedule so I have great availability for your pup while you work or take care of other responsibilities! I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your dog throughout the day and can be flexible with different routines and care needs. I’m also happy to accommodate last-minute bookings when my schedule allows. I’ll do my best to keep your pup’s usual routine consistent, including walks, meals, potty breaks, play time, and plenty of love and attention while you’re away! I would love to take your pups on walks, enjoy playtime, or spend some outdoor time with them, as I also love being outside and going on walks! I’d also love to get to know your pets and their individual personalities so I can help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I’ll make sure to follow your instructions and their usual routines as closely as possible, so they can feel happy and at ease in their own home.
“Crystal was amazing with our 2 cats, especially my shy little guy. They absolutely loved her as she made sure they were fed, played with, and given attention. Crystal was awesome with communication, asking questions, leaving notes, etc. She left treats and pictures of our sweet boys. We felt so much better leaving them under her care!”

“Patricia was so great! Helped take care of our little zoo of ferrets, chickens, lizard, fish and a cat. Our ferret needed daily medicine which was super important and Patricia was so reliable we didn’t have to worry! She was thorough and communicated well, plus shared cute pics of our critters too… would highly recommend!!”

“Kenya has been visiting my two very energetic dogs for a few weeks now and it has been a great experience. She is always on time and gives a detailed report. It is comforting to know my dogs are receiving top notch care while I’m at work. I highly recommend Kenya!”

About: Hi! I’m Sasha — a passionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve worked in doggy daycares as a handler, bather, and walker, and I’m Pet CPR & First Aid Certified so your pup’s safety and comfort always come first. I work from home as a designer, which means your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I also have a fenced yard and a cozy, dog-friendly home filled with beds, toys, and space to relax. I have a small dog named Nacho who is my sidekick and keeps me on a consistent routine with regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and play sessions throughout the day. Dogs staying with me are treated like family — they’ll have access to water, comfy spaces to rest, toys, and lots of love. I’m happy to accommodate cuddle bugs too — if your pup enjoys sleeping near people, they’ll fit right in here. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where your dog feels comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 I have 1 small dog that is by my side 24/7 during the week. Caring for your pet will fit into my routine nicely. I work as a designer and always home during the week. I usually let my boy Nacho out to play in the morning at 7am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, and 4pm, 6pm and 9:15pm. I usually keep the dogs with me in my area while I work. They have access water, food, beds and toys. I have a bunch of doggy beds and toys 🧸 all around the house. I also don’t mind the dogs sleeping in bed with me. I love to snuggle with the fur babies.
“Rhianna goes above and beyond! She will care for your pets as if they are her own. She plays with them, give them loves and snuggles, even teaches them tricks! I would highly recommend her to anyone and will continue using her for as long as she’s available.”

I sometimes pick up a couple serving shifts until 3pm Tues-Friday but free on weekends, all day Monday, and evenings throughout the week :)) I am super comfortable with dogs of different breeds and sizes, making sure I am very attentive to their needs. “I have two cats. One is a complete sweetie except he is now almost 17 and is on multiple medications. In discussion with the vet before my trip, the vet had "ideal" and "essential" medicine dispersal. In our meeting to go over things, it was clear she understood his medical issues, the various medicines and their priority and importance. Kimberly was diligent in administering the medicine most essential and getting at least one daily dose of the others, despite the cat hiding from her on several visits. (He is easy for me but I am told by prior sitters he fights the pills). What pleased me was that she kept him in good health without stressing him out to the point where he acted out like he did with previous sitter determined to administer pills. She knew how to balance stress and medicine. If you have a cat with health issues, I highly recommend Kimberly. Since my other cat is a high strung rescue who hides from everything, Kimberly did not interact with her directly but she reassured me of signs of eating, litter activity to show she hadn't escaped when she hadn't showed after 5 days. (that is very typical of this cat, even for longer visits so no reflection on Kimberly).”

“Joshua was excellent to work with! He sent picture updates every day and even brought his own laser pointer to play with the cats. We were so glad to leave Skamp and Oats in such good care. He also came and did a pre-visit with us to meet the kittens first. I am a bit of a helicopter first time cat mom and Joshua far exceeded my expectations and followed our somewhat over the top instructions with ease! Re: new automated litter box. :)”
About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family since age 8, having been trusted to feed, wash, and play with dogs- I know my way around a dog park or two. ;) I also have house sat for dog owners before as well, so I am always observant and able to make sure your pup feels right at home, and your home stays looking best in show! I currently have open availability, with tons of time to play with and entertain your pups! I am able to house sit as well, if given a minimum of 3 days in advance! While I cannot board fur babies at my house, I am more than able to monitor and play with your furry friends at your home (and on walks of course!), as well as follow any certain rules or procedures one may have for their best furry friend!

“Kym was wonderful! So thorough in getting to know our pup and with all the updates she’d provide us with every visit. She even offered to do additional tasks like put our trash cans out and water our indoor plants. The power went out due to a bad storm while we were away so she even navigated that with our pup and flipped our breakers, etc! We had never had anyone outside family/friends watch our high-maintenance weenie dog, so we were apprehensive to engage a service like Rover, but we were very satisfied with our experience and have already recommended Kym to our family members with dogs!”

Elizabeth took such excellent care of our dog Max. She was attentive, friendly and caring towards Max. She gave me an update on Max each time she visited and how their walk went. I was at ease knowing Elizabeth was taking care of Max for us. It made for a relaxing vacation!

I can’t say enough good things about Chris and how well he cared for my dog and cat. I was nervous about leaving them at home for the first time instead of taking them to a sitter, but it turned out I had nothing to worry about. Chris was reliable and showed up when he said he would. The love and care he gave my crew was amazing. He also communicated really well during each visit, sending updates, pictures, and observations about how they were doing. He didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions, which meant a lot to me since my dog is a senior and has a few health concerns. I can’t recommend Chris enough — he really is that great 😊 I’ll definitely be using his services again in the future!

Elva was great with my dogs! She is professional, reliable, always on time, and truly cares about making sure my babies get the most out of their visit. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands, and they were always happy and well cared for after spending time with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

We had Nicholas care for our dog and four cats while we were away, including administering medication twice daily for one of our cats. Overall, he was reliable and made sure everyone was fed, cared for, and safe. We appreciated the photos and updates during visits. Our dog did get spooked during one walk due to a loud car and had a harder time going out after that, so more backyard time was used. There was an accident during one of the visits, which he handled and cleaned up, and we appreciated that. Overall, we’re grateful our pets were well cared for and would book again.

We just got home from a 10 day trip. Our dog, Heidi, seemed very happy and excited. This is our third time using Isaiah, and like before he was reliable and communicated very well with us. He took care of Heidi’s needs. We all enjoy his help. I highly recommend him.
