About: I have been taking care of dogs ranging from a few lbs to 100+ lbs for years! I have also been caring for different types of cats just as long :) Growing up we always had a dog in the house, so that has made me super comfortable to be around them. Whether I’m walking, feeding, cleaning, or administering medication, I am definitely not afraid of the job! I am a proud mama of 2 cats named Archie and Simon. They are my absolute world! I will make sure to give your pets the same care, caution, attention, and love I give my boys! Pet care has always been a passion of mine. In fact, I went to school for it! Although I did not end up pursuing my desire to become a veterinarian, I still try to incorporate that love for animals in my day to day life! I have an extremely flexible work schedule that allows me to almost work fully remote. I would be able to stop over at the house pretty much whenever you need me to. My work set up also allows me to work anywhere if needed. My weekends are almost always open as well! I will always make sure to talk through your expectations to ensure you are comfortable with the nature of each type of visit. I typically would not host any pets in our home. We have a fenced in backyard and several spaces; however, I would not want to put your pet or my cats in an uncomfortable space. At a clients home, I am more than comfortable with backyard access, crate training, cleaning litter boxes, accessing food/water, and any other requirements for the visit! (Totally fine bringing in mail/watering plants!) I will only access the spaces you need me to. I am also fine spending the night if needed. That would be something we could discuss case by case!
About: I am an avid pet lover and have had many dogs and cats over the past ~30 years. While raising my daughter, we had two cats and two dogs (Shitzu and Lhasa Apso), which we loved dearly. my latest dog Ralphie, passed away a couple of years ago. He unfortunately turned blind when he was just three, so I have extensive experience with senior dogs, and those with disabilities. Currently, I love to pet sit for my daughter’s dog, Scotch, in NY any chance I get. I love taking care of animals during the weekends or on my free time. I’m looking to pet-sit dogs in my home (primarily overnights and weekends). I live alone and don't currently have a pet. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Pet care fits into my weekly routine perfectly as I work from home a couple times a week, and am available to watch dogs many weekends. I have a 2 bedroom condo with direct access to the outdoors along the golf course. Indoor space is ample for small dogs to run around inside, and my back area and neighborhood are very safe, quiet, and well separated from any main roads.

She has been an animal professional for many years already, so we felt confident in leaving our two boys in her care for a lengthy trip to the city while they stayed in a suburban lodging. We were particularly impressed that when she got the idea that we were a little nervous about it, she and her adult daughter came for a lengthy meet-and-greet the day before. Though that has happened once before, we know not to expect that from every other sitter, and other clients probably shouldn't expect that every time they book this pro family. But it told us that they truly care and want the dog parents to be as at-ease as the dogs themselves. We appreciated all the little extras that came with this booking, especially the high quality photography that makes us love our pooches even more. Kenyale will be on our A-list for a Chicagoland sitter.
Ok if you book Phillip you have won the lottery! He is truly phenomenal from start to finish. He sends pictures every day with a little note. The dogs were so happy! But what makes him stand out is his dedication to the pups & the client. We were diverted to Milwaukee, landing around midnight due to storms in Chicago & Phillip stayed until he knew we would be making it home. I was so worried about the dogs when we landed and when I received his text that he was still at the house I almost cried. He truly is amazing!
Oliwia is amazing. She is so happy and cheerful and took great care of our Bentley while we were away for 10 days. I felt stressed about leaving our dog for that long, but Oliwia sent pictures every day and kept us posted on how he was doing. All of the pictures and communication from her really helped ease my worries. I think he had a vacation too! I would also note that Oliwia left the house very clean, which is a wonderful gift when you come home from vacation. I would highly recommend her.
Skyler was watching my house when we had really bad storms here in July. She did a great job dealing with everything going on. There was no power and a window blew in. She looked for Wren right away and once she found her she went upstairs and fixed the window. It's great to have a sitter that was able to handle all of this. Though it was not an ideal situation she did fantastic and it made me feel that I can comfortably leave on trips and know that Skyler can manage multiple situations as they arise!
This was our second time having Ida dog sit for us and needless to say we are lucky to have found her! Ida stayed with our elderly pup for 3 weeks while we were out of the country, and as usual she provided exceptional service, multiple daily updates including photos and videos, and the utmost care and compassion for our dog, who is a special needs older pup, who requires medication and walks multiple times a day. Ida left our apartment spotless and kept daily communication with us and our neighbors, who absolutely adored her. Our dog loved her the moment he met her and was so excited to see her again, which goes to show her care for him. Yujin was wonderful with watching our 18 mo old Shiba, Koge in our home. She was very communicative, was willing to do a preliminary meet-and-greet, and was so accommodating and flexible when our plans changed. Yujin treated both Koge and our home with care, and graciously dealt with Koge’s stubborn Shiba quirks. We are definitely happy to trust her with our pup and home again in the future.
Marina was so great with my dogs! I have 4 medium to XL dogs that are well mannered but can be a handful.
