“Steph was awesome! This was my first experience with Rover and I have a Boykin Spaniel, which is a 16 month old 40lb high energy hunting machine. She excepted the challenge and treated Kola like he was her own. Very pleased with the whole experience and Steph. I took a fly-in fishing to the northern woods of Canada and due to fires and bad weather in the area had to extend my stay for an additional two days up there because the float plane couldn't come get us. Steph rearranged her schedule to accommodate me. I didn't expect her to do that but greatly appreciate her for doing so. I highly recommend Steph, will use her again in the future (that is if she'll let me LOL).”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little and grew up caring for family dogs long before having my own. Being around different breeds, personalities, and energy levels has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make dogs feel safe and comfortable. Now I care for my own dog, Bruce, who’s taught me even more about trust, consistency, and understanding dog behavior. I’ve spent a lot of time working on training, recall, leash manners, and reinforcing good routines with him, which has made me even more attentive and confident around dogs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, leash handling, and making sure dogs feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand how important reliability and communication are, so I’m always happy to provide updates and photos along the way. Spending time with dogs has never felt like a job to me — it’s something I’ve genuinely loved my whole life. I recently graduated from college and currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to pet care throughout the week. Because I’m doing this full-time, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so I love being able to give pets the time, attention, playtime, and companionship they need instead of rushing through visits. I’m also reliable with communication and happy to provide updates and photos so owners always feel comfortable and informed while they’re away. She’s had a senior dog herself and was familiar with his medicine and was able to give the pills without a problem. Her home had no stairs, which was perfect for our dog since he has arthritis. She lives in a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood with minimal traffic and sidewalks perfect for walks.”
