“I have two orange tabbies who are set up on an automatic feeder and automatic litter box, so the hardest part about being away from them is finding someone who can play with them and give them food as a treat. I hired Hannah as a cat sitter and she pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Hannah is beyond amazing. She got both of my cats to play with her by figuring out the weird things they each like to do — one is driven by random sounds and the other is a fetcher. Best part was when I walked in, they both appeared to be in a good mood, whereas normally they look stressed after I’ve been away. That’s my measure of how well they were played with. “This was our 1st time trying Rover, we were looking for a very reliable animal lover to take care of our 3 Somali cats, we definitely got exactly who we we’re looking for with Giselle!! We were out of town for over a week & she came over twice a day & took the best care of our Jessie, Joey & Jeremy, Jessie is 15 1/2 & mainly eats dry food upstairs in our room, while our 1 1/2 year old boys eat wet food, so it can be tricky making sure the boys don’t eat any of Jessie’s dry food as it contains chicken that they cannot eat. Giselle made sure everyone had their own food, fresh water & did an excellent job cleaning our 3 litter boxes. We 100% trusted her not only with our 3 fur babies lives but also to come into our house twice a day, she is very responsible with everything & we will definitely have her continue being our go to pet sitter for our Jessie, Joey & Jeremy!! About: Ever since I was young, I had friends and family have me take care of there pets because I was never able to have my own. I would take them on walks, feed, and bathe them as if they were my own babies. Last October I got my first pet, my majestic orange feline, Honey Mustard. My friend was not able to keep him anymore so I took him in as my own. A few months later came in my furball of energy, Teddy. Having two pets in my house at once after only having had pets for a week at a time was challenging, but I adjusted very quickly. I am able to give each of them the love and care they deserve and I willing to give that love and care too all pets that need it. I have been at home a lot for the past month because school ended, so everyday I have spent all my hours with Teddy and H&M. Wake up and take Teddy potty, give both of them breakfast. While H&M takes a sun bath I play with Teddy or take him on a long walk so he can catch up with whats going on outside. Give Teddy a nice paw rub after running around in the grass and dirt. Then at four its dinner time and the babies have their own run around time and more play until bedtime. I try my best to match the environment in which the dog or cat is in. My schedule works around the family and their pets so everything the pets are already used to with their schedule, I will do.
About: I've been exposed to dogs all my life. I remember taking care of my grandma's golden, Tabasco, ever since I was a little kid. After having an English Cream golden retriever for 10 years, I now have a pandemic puppy, Enzo, another golden. I've had almost a full year of experience working as a Kennel Attendant at an animal hospital/boarding facility, where I: -Maintained proper animal environment by cleaning kennels, and provided fresh bedding and water at all times. -I prepared and distributed prescribed diets, and administered medication. -Assisted doctors and technicians as needed, as well as clients -Learned proper animal restraint, and supervised large groups of pets. -Assisted grooming staff with bathing and handling. I’m currently working from home and am flexible in when I can take breaks throughout the day (I typically work from Monday - Friday from 8-5:30). I’m free on weeknights and all day on weekends. I live in a spacious home in Addison, IL with a fenced-in yard. It’s large enough to house a couple pets at a time and within walking distance of a dog park.

About: I have grown up with many animals, including exotic animals. We have a grooming station in home and love animals of all types and breeds. I haven’t accept exotic animals as well. I have owned horses, mini pigs inside my house, sugar, gliders, chinchillas, hamsters, lizards, cat, dogs, ferrets, I’m probably forgetting a few more. I have an open schedule and care for my pets very well. My dog even gets dental cleanings every year. My favorites get their nails cut and bathed weekly. I have multiple dog beds, a cat tower tons of toys for all different red animals. Have a fenced in backyard, grooming, station, and home. I have extra cages or tanks if need be. I prefer not to kettle animals unless they need to be under the owners agreement.

We start the morning with a refreshing walk, breakfast, and some calm bonding time. Throughout the day, your dog will enjoy structured potty breaks, enrichment games, and plenty of supervised relaxation. You will receive updates during these key moments—morning, afternoon, and evening—so you’ll always know how your dog is settling in. I stay closely aligned with your dog’s normal schedule to reduce stress and help them feel at home quickly. Consistency, supervision, and comfort are always my priorities. I provide full-time supervision when boarding, maintain a clean living space, and follow each dog’s feeding, medication, and potty schedule exactly as instructed. Dogs are never left unsupervised around my Shiba Inu, and introductions are done slowly and safely. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the day so you always know how your dog is doing.

Our pup started an antibiotic 3 days before our trip, and she was able to take him, administer all the meds and keep him sequestered until he was no longer a health hazard. In addition, our flight was canceled and she kept C for an extra day at the same rate. We are confident in her abilities and her love for our dog.”

About: I have my own dog, and I work at dogtopia, where I watch 20+ dogs at one time. I play with the dogs and clean up after them! I'm currently working part-time, so l'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 1:30pm! I have a fenced in yard and 1 friendly dog to keep your pup company! Willing to accommodate to your dogs needs if they differ from how we treat our dog.
“D’artagnan took great care of Yeti for a fairly extended stay. I will be booking again with him! He was responsive to any requests or questions that I had and was proactive in sending pictures and updates of how my dog was doing. He even worked with her a little bit on leash pulling and we talked about what he had seen in other dogs that might help Yeti. Highly recommend!”
“Amanda just recently joined Rover as a dog sitter, so there weren’t yet any reviews to look over. However, based on her profile and especially meeting her and her daughter, I was very comfortable leaving Ollie in their care for a week. Ollie was well taken care of, and I received updates with pictures daily. He enjoyed his time there and being around her two smaller dogs. They are very nice/friendly and even sent Ollie home with a with a personalized goody bag with his name on it. That was a nice touch well above what was expected. I will definitely use them again.”
