“Audrey is so amazing with our golden doodle. She is very attentive and has even given us advice on harnesses to make the walks better with less pulling. Love the updates and Millie is happy as can be!!”

“Sydney was amazing! She took such great care of Toshi during his walks, and he looked so happy in all the photos she sent. She kept me updated, was very communicative, and has such a positive attitude. You can really tell how much she loves animals. I’m so glad I chose her, and I’ll definitely book with her again. I highly recommend Sydney!”

About: For over 25 years I have been fortunate enough to experience the joy of caring for my family's dog. In addition to dog ownership, I have provided walks and drop ins to family and friends with their own pets. My schedule is currently fairly open so I will have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need while walking or dropping in for a visit. I care for client's pets as if they are my own. That's means I will ensure they are safe and cared for at all times during a walk or drop in visit.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up caring for both cats and dogs. Throughout childhood, my family had a cat and we frequently dog-sat for multiple dogs. In college, I continued pet sitting as a side job and gained even more hands-on experience. I regularly care for friends’ and family’s dogs when they travel. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and ages, and I genuinely love animals. I especially enjoy walking dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I am available Friday-Sunday. I am work from home Friday, so I can help out during the day, and through the weekend. I am flexible to your schedule! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine and environment consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention and playtime (my favorite!). I always check that doors, gates, and crates are secure before and after visits. I am extremely responsible as I have cared for pets my whole life. For walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses as instructed by the owner and stay aware of my surroundings at all times. I avoid unsafe areas, watch closely for other animals, and make sure each walk matches the pet’s energy level and needs. I have experience with all sizes of dogs. I treat every home and pet with respect and care, follow all owner instructions closely, and provide updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are safe and happy. I would love to care for your pet!
“Kelly was the best! she was prompt, great communicator, and most importantly great with arya! she left detailed notes and photos that made me so happy to see. amazing walker and always topped off the water bowl & let me know how things went in the report card!”

“Thank you Sarah for your excellent help/meeting with Annie. Clearly she was drawn to you and calmly. That says a lot. Dogs have that incredible sense about people. I am confident Annie is in good hands. Sue”

“John was wonderful with both our dogs! He was on time, got to know them first, and won them over very quickly. Even our older dog who is very skittish took to John immediately for a walk this week. Would highly recommend!”

“Zack was very conscientious in meeting Trixie before our set schedule of walks. He was aware of her sniffing for food all the time and made sure to stop that behavior. We were able to be flexible with our schedule and his. I would hire him again”

“I contacted Victoria without much.notice hoping to get somebody to walk my dog 2 times on a day where I was going to be gone for at least 12 hours. She had never met me or my dogs but took on the task. She was.able.to get my dogs out, hung out with them a bit in my yard, and for their second afternoon session she took them for a wooded hike and to a pet store for treats. She went above and beyond and my dogs were very pleased. Great job V.”
“Madeline saved the day and accepted a last minute request when our usual dog walker was out of town. She was patient with our nervous pup and did a great job at making her feel comfortable!”

“Do you believe in love ?at first sight? Well, ? I saw it happen between Joan and our 10 year old, deaf pit bull. From our initial visit until our final visit from Joan everything was perfect. And she takes great pictures. This was our first time but it certainly won’t be our last!”
“Beth was great! We have a large dog who can be pretty skittish around new people, especially those entering the house. When Beth came through they became fast friends as our dog, Brandy, eased up to Beth almost immediately. Highly recommend Beth!”

About: * Please note my availability has changed, Currently I work 9-5pm and I am available outside of work hours and weekends thank you!* Working with animals has been an absolute joy for me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had several years of experience in this field. It all started back in 2006, when I landed my first job as a vet tech assistant at an animal hospital. That's where I discovered my passion for animal care and developed valuable professional skills that have stayed with me to this day. More recently, I had the incredible opportunity to work as an Office Manager at a Non-Profit Animal Hospital in 2022. This experience deepened my appreciation for the importance of animal welfare and reinforced my commitment to providing top-notch care to all pets. When I'm not working, I spend my time with my furry family members - a 5 year-old Pomsky, two Australian cattle dogs, and a senior kitty named Xuxa. Being around animals brings me so much joy, and I love nothing more than exploring new trails and beautiful spots with them on weekends. I've had the pleasure of working in various roles, from vet tech assistant to kennel attendant to office manager at an animal hospital. I have extensive experience administering vaccines and medications to pets and have honed my attention to detail when it comes to animal care. But beyond that, I have a genuine passion for helping others and treating every pet as if they were my own. Your beloved pets will be in the best hands possible with me. For me, pet care goes beyond simply tending to the animals themselves - it's about creating a safe and comfortable environment for them in their own home. That's why my house sitting rate includes light cleaning, and I guarantee that your home and pet will be left in even better shape than when I arrived. I'm beyond excited to meet you and your furry family members! Let's work together to ensure that they receive the best possible care and attention while you're away. I currently work full time in Chagrin falls so I can house sit and provide early morning potty breaks and breakfast and a second food and potty break in the early evening . I have open availability weekends I would love to come and play with your pets including , feeding, and walking. Depending on needs and area I would love to take your dog to a local dog park and I am open to all suggestions and requests for care!
“I cannot speak highly enough of Morgan. Most recently, I used her for daily walks for a foster dog that I had. Despite the challenge of walking a dog neither of us knew well, she was always so kind and patient. Her excellent communication skills were also greatly appreciated as I wanted to ensure I was getting any important information on this foster dog. I definitely plan to continue using her!”
About: I've had pets nearly all of my life and love all types of animals, whether domesticated pets or seeing animals while backpacking in the wilderness. I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to visit your pets during the week. My schedule is flexible for dog walking and/or visits in your home. Pets are members of our families. Just like anyone, they deserve our trust and need to feel safe. Every pet is unique and I believe it's important to get to know each pet's personality.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
