About: I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois. My education helped build a foundation and understanding of animal welfare, behavior, nutrition, and safe animal handling. I have over two years of professional experience training dogs in basic on-leash obedience, including heel, sit, stay, place, recall, and other foundational commands. I was trained by master trainer Joel Slaven, who has trained animals for movies, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and worked extensively alongside Jack Hanna. In addition to dog training, I have worked as a Kennel Technician, where I helped care for up to 50 dogs at a time. My responsibilities included feeding, administering oral and subcutaneous medications, and providing daily exercise through walks and free running in a large pasture. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have experience working at a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 25 or more dogs and learned how to manage different personalities and energy levels in a group setting. Outside of my professional experience, I own a two-year-old English Bulldog. Her stubborn personality and high energy have taught me a great deal about patience, consistency, and adapting my approach to each individual dog. Overall, my experience has strengthened my passion for working with dogs and my commitment to providing them with patient, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. I have an open and flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dog walks/or home visits in the early morning, throughout the day and into the evening. I am happy to work around you and your pets schedule to provide dependable great care. While I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I will treat each animal as if they were my own, giving them love, patience, attention, and dependable care while following their normal routines.
About: I have up to a eight years of experience taking care of animals. The most known being cats, dogs, birds, and some farmlife. I also have experience in grooming regarding bathing dogs and cats. This is something I am currently working toward furthering my career in. I am currently unemployed, although I am working on getting a job. I care for two cats at home full time as well as the occasional care of my roommate's pet skink. I have a 7 year old and an 8 month old who is sometimes a full-time job himself. I currently live in an apartment so I do not offer care at my home due to my lease not allowing it. However, within the home of my client I try to keep a common eye on the animals, making sure they are fed, have water, and if required the litterbox/bathroom is done whenever they need it.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats since I was a child. I have cared for animals with additional needs like medication. We also had a wonderful cat that had diabetes so I am comfortable helping with additional needs. I'm currently available for house visits from the morning to the evening. About: I feel strongly about the human animal-bond and I believe your pets deserve the best care possible! My experience goes back to childhood since I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've watched neighbors' and friends' pets while they were out of town and even watched a friend's horses while she was on vacation. I walked dogs at Anderson Animal Shelter (now Anderson Humane) as a kid. I worked for a pet sitting company for a little over a year in 2020. That year I also began school to become a certified veterinary technician. After two years taking classes full time and completing two externships I became a CVT. My schooling did include kennels- aka walking, cleaning up after and caring for the rescued dogs and cats we learned on (they were adopted out at the end of each semester). I also have helped with pets who were boarding at veterinary offices. I can do medical treatments on your fur baby if necessary. I am open to watching exotic pets. I have a huge admiration for spicy cats. I am your person for house sitting and drop in visits. I will be using Rover for part time work but I do have flexible availability! I have stepped away from full time work all together for the foreseeable future. I am a morning person and I would love to spend some time outside with your pup whatever the weather may be. I enjoy walking outside even in zero degree weather! I am happy to accommodate any routine you need for your fur babies. Greeting your pet is important, especially if I am new to them. I will give them food and water and clean dishes as advised by you. I will take them for a walk or outside to play and go potty depending on what they are up for. About: We have been around dogs our entire lives and have always felt a deep connection with animals. From fostering and training, to caring for puppies, adult, and senior dogs; it has been a labor of love to nurture and nurture them through their ages, stages, and situations. From golden retrievers, newfoundlands, labradors, pitbulls, dachshunds, border collies, cockapoos, and many other breeds, we've experienced a vast array of shapes, sizes and personalities in our home. Currently, our fur family members are Boulder, our 5 year old Newfoundland boy, and Brick, our 5 month labrador boy. Both of them love other dogs and are socialized and friendly with people as well. Abbie - I am currently working part-time at a restaurant that is very flexible with my hours. I just moved back to the area and do not have too many extracurriculars at this time. Also, I truly enjoy staying busy so would love to accomodate you and your pet's needs any way I can. Karen - My schedule is flexible, as I work at home. Abbie and I rotate our "out of the house" time as best possible to ensure the pups have proper supervision and care. Our dogs have plenty access to the "great outdoors," as I spend the bulk of my days in their continual presence, so their needs are met quickly. We are dog lovers, and safety and love are our priority. We do have two dogs of our own. They are well socialized, and they fully enjoy the company of other dogs. Ideally we like to integrate our guest pups into our little 2 pack, to ensure the most fun and relaxed atmosphere for all. We do have crates available if nap time/down time away from the others is needed. Our 5 year old Newfoundland, Boulder, is a gentle giant, who is extraordinarily patient and friendly. Our 5 month old yellow lab, Brick, is a sweetheart, and still a growing puppy. He has lots of energy and is a quick learner, eager to please, and up for lots of play. He does like his naps, as does Boulder, so we do have a healthy ebb and flow to the rhythms of life here. We have a 4 foot fence around our backyard with about half an acre of land to run around in. We also have a very safe neighborhood that only has one entrance, so there are few cars. With over a mile of sidewalks, there are plenty of sniffing opportunities when we are out on our walks. Since we do have a current puppy in our home, our house is puppy proof. Our pantry door stays shut 24/7, there are no poisonous plants nearby,all cords and wires are tucked away, and no shoes are left out. If you would rather have us care for your dog in your home, we are very conscientious, of the routines and guidelines you set out for us.

Alexandria hung out with Caesar on short notice without needing to meet him prior, which I really appreciated because I’ve ran into people on here who are biased against pit bulls. From first interaction, I felt really at ease because she was confident it would be a smooth interaction, and I have no reason to believe it wasn’t. She sent plenty of pictures and just made me feel like Caesar was loved the entire 1.5 hours she was there with him. When I book someone to hang with Caesar, I honestly want him to not think about me during that time (and he is my shadow). I 1000% felt like she gave him the attention that had him not looking for me. I could not recommend her more.
