About: I grew up in a big family , we always had pets from dogs-hamsters! And we took care as if they were part of the family . I am compassionate, and I would love your animals and care for them and treat them with kindness as if they were family. As a mom of 5 older kids, I’ve gotten really good at balancing routines and staying organized. Now that they’re more independent, I have lots of free time in my day to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, exercise, and a reliable schedule. I did have 3 cats and 1 dog at one time before. They still are part of the family they live with family members and I visit them time to time and they come to my house as well. I love walking dogs and taking care of animals that are only comfortable in your home. I am a trust worthy person when it comes to someone trusting me in their home. Clients should know that their home and their pet are well taken care of and respected.
“I'm home with a fractured toe so I get to see how happy my dog is when he sees Amy! It's nearly a week since she started. She's always on time and takes him on nice long walks.”

“Bonnie provided the most genuine and compassionate care while I was out of town. From the very start, I felt very comfortable w/ her caring for my dog and she was excellent communicating with me throughout the entire time.”

About: Hello! I have been a dog lover my whole life having lived with and owned dogs. Currently, I have an English Bulldog & a well trained German Shepherd. I love outdoor walks and play time - no walk is too long for me with your dog! Also, love to keep them company if they do not want to be alone for long periods of time. Experienced in administering medicines to both cats and dogs. Along with my 2 dogs I live on a hobby farm with chickens, horses & barn cats. In college I worked at Danada Vet in the kennel and assisted on the vet floor with the techs and Drs! Reach out with any questions! Thank you! I’m currently working at my family business in the Wheaton area and most of the work is online or around the suburbs - never gone for more than a couple hours. I can be readily available for walks, care and house sitting. I am experienced in caring for pets in the owners home - happy to keep their routine and habits so their life is easy while you are away!
“I contacted Victoria without much.notice hoping to get somebody to walk my dog 2 times on a day where I was going to be gone for at least 12 hours. She had never met me or my dogs but took on the task. She was.able.to get my dogs out, hung out with them a bit in my yard, and for their second afternoon session she took them for a wooded hike and to a pet store for treats. She went above and beyond and my dogs were very pleased. Great job V.”

“Jessica has been great with our dog, Bear. He has some behavioral issues we are working on, but Jessica has been confident and caring with him. She is dependable and provides great feedback after their walks.”

“Sydney was fantastic! And it makes going away so much easier knowing that Mia is in good hands with someone who meets Mia as she is and is patient as Mia takes her time to warm up”

About: I've been taking care of pets since i was a teen. I started by taking care of my neighbor's dogs & cats and expanded to taking care of Friends, family, neighbor's pets. I am comfortable looking after all ages of dogs, and treat them like they are my own! Our four legged babies deserve the best care & love at all times! I work full time in the office but am available at the drop of a hat for a walk or let out after 6:00pm as needed. I am available for dog walks, let out/potty breaks, and boarding on the weekends. I am an early bird that loves to walk and am flexible to help you & your pets! I have a 6-year-old black lab mix named Olly, who likes to meet all of the furry friends that come to stay with us overnight, so a meet and greet is required before boarding to ensure that both dogs are happy and safe together! My philosophy to dog care is to make the animals feel like they are loved and safe no matter where they are, and yes… that means endless belly rubs & squeaker toys. House Drop in/ dog walks- I love walking no matter the weather and feel comfortable coming to your house and letting your dog out for a potty break or taking them on a walk. I will happily abide by any distance you want me to walk them and utilize any type of harness or leash you prefer. I will make sure that your dog didn’t have any accidents and will happily clean up if they did. I will respect your house and take care of your dog(s) like they are my own! Dog sitting & Boarding- I have a completely fenced big back yard that your dog(s) are welcome to roam the entire thing! My six-year-old black lab mix, Olly will happily keep your dog company & share her toys! I love to take dogs that stay with me on morning & evening walks. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly to walk, and we live 1.2 miles from Herrik lake forest preserve path that is always a nice scenery change for dogs! According to my dog… it has the best smells in town!
“Crissy has been walking our three pups for a number of weeks now and they love her! She takes them on better walks than I do and I've actually noticed a positive change in their behavior outside. She's awesome!!!”

“Jennifer is amazing with our dogs and really helped us out when we needed her. Animals clearly love and feel comfortable with her; even my chihuahuah who hates everyone comes up to her. Will be using Jennifer again and again. Thanks so much for taking good care of our girls”
“Zhiyang was great. She followed all very specific directions for my young puppy’s schedule. You can tell she really loves animals with her care and playfulness. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter.”

“Jackson I 10/10 recommend!! I will be scheduling with him again in the future! As a new user on here I was very skeptical with all of this. I have a big pup who is very hyper-active. He was amazing and very professional with all aspects. From the communication, reassurance, and detailed plan (he will provide). I felt so much better about this process! I know my dog can be a lot for other people but he was a champ!! Thank you so much again! For taking care of my baby as your own✨✨✨✨🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼”

“Thank you Sarah for your excellent help/meeting with Annie. Clearly she was drawn to you and calmly. That says a lot. Dogs have that incredible sense about people. I am confident Annie is in good hands. Sue”

About: I’ve been an animal lover and hands-on pet caregiver for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, birds, rabbits, and fish—so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, needs, and routines. My heart dog was a golden retriever I raised from just 8 weeks old through nearly 16 wonderful years. She was family in every sense of the word. I walked with her through every stage of life—including serious health challenges like cancer—and made sure she was surrounded by comfort, love, and dignity until the very end. That experience shaped how I approach pet care: patient, attentive, and deeply compassionate. Since then, I’ve opened my home to fostering and have cared for a variety of breeds and temperaments, including a German Shepherd mix, Aussie, Border Collie, Plott Hound mix, and others. I’m comfortable with just about all dogs, shy or anxious, and those who just need a steady, calm presence. When considering boarding, my situation is best for small- to medium-sized dogs or older dogs that don't require a lot of outdoor space for play would be best if they are staying with me. When your pet is with me, they won’t just be “watched”—they’ll be cared for like family. Whether that means walks, playtime, sticking closely to their routine, or simply giving them a safe, relaxed environment, I adapt to what your pet needs most. I want to clarify that my living situation is in a condominium. The only choices in the app are house or apartment and my situation is neither. I live in a small four-unit building in a condominium complex, not far from Cantigny. I am on the board of the homeowners association as well. My unit is on the first floor with a patio and lovely grounds to walk right outside the door. This is a very quiet community. I understand what it takes to entrust your pet to someone you've just met, and I take that trust very seriously. My goal is simple: for you to feel confident and for your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved. I work a sporadic part time schedule at The Morton Arboretum which involves no more than 8 hours per week at this time. I have a lot of free time to dedicate to your pet. When I am with your pet, I will be 100% focused on your pet. I will take no chances with your pet's safety, carefully monitoring the space they are in, toys they play with, etc.

Lauren is an exceptional walker with unmatched qualifications. Her level of care goes beyond anything that any other walker can provide. I've had great experiences with every dog walker we've had over the years on Rover, including Lauren. Every walker has been highly reliable, compassionate, and a good communicator - including Lauren. But Lauren is also an experienced veterinary nurse, which makes her combined qualifications entirely unmatched in my experience. Having previously owned a mature business, one of the many perks was being able to choose who I worked with. Being able to turn away a prospective customer - or letting go a current customer - is a reward for any successful business owner or practitioner. Consider yourself fortunate if your dog is in Lauren's great care.
