I will make it a priority to make sure your pet is comfortable, loved, and adored. Your pet will not want to leave my house-it is pet paradise. I will walk your pet, play with your pet, and give your pet lots of attention. I do not have any children so all of the attention will go to your pet. Your pet will not want to leave this pet paradise house and yard! I thank you for your time and look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet.
About: I grew up in a big family , we always had pets from dogs-hamsters! And we took care as if they were part of the family . I am compassionate, and I would love your animals and care for them and treat them with kindness as if they were family. As a mom of 5 older kids, I’ve gotten really good at balancing routines and staying organized. Now that they’re more independent, I have lots of free time in my day to dedicate to caring for pets, giving them attention, exercise, and a reliable schedule. I did have 3 cats and 1 dog at one time before. They still are part of the family they live with family members and I visit them time to time and they come to my house as well. I love walking dogs and taking care of animals that are only comfortable in your home. I am a trust worthy person when it comes to someone trusting me in their home. Clients should know that their home and their pet are well taken care of and respected.
“Amy S. was very professional and responsive. She took time to get to know me and my fur baby. We scheduled a virtual call and in-person meeting. After both, I felt very comfortable and she didn’t disappoint! I would definitely hire Amy S. again!”

“Glen was available very last minute to walk our pup. He responded quickly to messages, came at the right time, and sent a photo and an update after the walk. I’d recommend Glen and would book again!”

About: Hi! I'm a junior Human-Animal Studies student with a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I have hands-on experience working with dogs through my previous role as a kennel technician and my current job, where I care for dogs of all sizes and personalities every day. In addition to dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and a variety of small exotic pets, including reptiles, rodents, and other small animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to learn their routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether it's walks, playtime, enrichment, feeding, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I'll treat your pets like they're my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing reliable, compassionate care, along with regular updates and photos so you always know how your furry, feathered, or scaly family members are doing! I’m currently working part time with a very flexible schedule no matter what time i work during the days i'm always available before 10 am for those early mornings! I am always available everyday at different times depending on my work schedule! When caring for pets in your home i treat them and your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I carefully follow instructions to maintain your pets routine and prioritize their safety at all times. You will be provided regular photo and message updates and make sure you return to a happy pet!
About: I graduated from University of Illinois this May, and I am looking to make some money before starting work at the end of July. I know first-hand how important a pet is to you/your family, and how important finding reliable care is, so I'm here to help! I have grown up taking care of my family pets (a cat and dog) and many others around my neighborhood. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, and I look forward to meeting yours! I have a fairly flexible schedule, and flexible cancellation policy. I will try my best to accept same day bookings, so please reach out to me, and I would be glad to make something work! I am very patient and am glad to work with your pet to meet their needs. I am also a very active person, so I would be glad to take your dog on a longer walk or run if you would like.

About: I have cared for dogs for neighbors, friends, and family over the years, and I also have two dogs of my own. Having grown up around dogs, I understand the importance of providing them with plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they are my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I currently work part-time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but I am available most evenings throughout the week. I also have flexible weekend availability and am happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, taking them on walks, giving them plenty of attention and playtime, administering medications if needed, and keeping their environment clean and comfortable. I understand that pets can feel stressed when their owners are away, so I focus on making them feel safe, loved, and well cared for until you return.
“Sydney was amazing! She took such great care of Toshi during his walks, and he looked so happy in all the photos she sent. She kept me updated, was very communicative, and has such a positive attitude. You can really tell how much she loves animals. I’m so glad I chose her, and I’ll definitely book with her again. I highly recommend Sydney!”

“Jessica has been great with our dog, Bear. He has some behavioral issues we are working on, but Jessica has been confident and caring with him. She is dependable and provides great feedback after their walks.”

“Our girls loved Barbara and so did we - great, consistent communication, and flexible about a last minute change. It’s good to have people we can trust with our furries. ☺️”

About: Wouldn't you rather have your dog in a dog-loving home every day instead of a commercial doggie daycare? With dog beds or couches instead of crates? I have lived with dogs most of my life and with cats for 35 years. I have fostered or rescued many animals. I can give personal attention to puppy "potty" training too! - found cat at side of road who had been shot with BBs. Took him to vet to have 33 BBs removed. Unfortunately he lost both eyes but was quickly adopted and is enjoying his life and even catching flies! - rescued little dog that was chasing a bike down a busy street. I was able to find her family and return her safely. - I found an injured bat and took him to Willowbrook for care. I love animals and I will take good care of yours! I am very comfortable with all types of animals. We spend a lot of time outdoors in our huge backyard, weather permitting. Play time is all day as I don't leave them alone but am always there to supervise. Because we also have cats, visiting dogs must be able to safely interact or ignore cats. Tiny dogs, very large dogs and everyone in between are welcome! I am available for weekly doggie daycare and boarding for my daycare clients. My schedule is very open and I am always with the dogs, supervising. To ensure their safety, they will never be left at home alone Your dogs will have the whole house to roam, just as my dogs do. They will have a fully fenced yard in which to run and beds or sofas or dog beds from which to choose for sleeping

About: Throughout my entire life, I have loved taking care of dogs and cats, with two dogs and three cats of my own. Taking care of animals is my safe place! I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant here in Naperville, only part-time where I choose my own hours, meaning i’m very flexible! With any pets, I like to slowly introduce myself to avoid stress on our loved ones. I find that fulfilling the time with walks, treats, and toys make your fur babies the happiest!
“Our puppy has a personality and Bonnie is able to take care of him with a smile. We had a busy week this week and we were so glad she had time to take care of Doc. Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I have dog sat for friends throughout the years. I have a passion for taking care of pups, hopefully one day I can open my own daycare/boarding non-profit. I currently work full time but have evenings and weekends free to watch your pup! My dogs are on a schedule that allows for them to go out three times a day plus any additional walks/playtime if weather allows! My pups are like family to me. I have a slight obsession with them and dogs in general. Being around dogs genuinely brings me so much joy. I would feel so lucky to be able to provide your pup with a comfy and fun stay!
“Crissy has been walking our three pups for a number of weeks now and they love her! She takes them on better walks than I do and I've actually noticed a positive change in their behavior outside. She's awesome!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Warrenville
Lauren is an exceptional walker with unmatched qualifications. Her level of care goes beyond anything that any other walker can provide. I've had great experiences with every dog walker we've had over the years on Rover, including Lauren. Every walker has been highly reliable, compassionate, and a good communicator - including Lauren. But Lauren is also an experienced veterinary nurse, which makes her combined qualifications entirely unmatched in my experience. Having previously owned a mature business, one of the many perks was being able to choose who I worked with. Being able to turn away a prospective customer - or letting go a current customer - is a reward for any successful business owner or practitioner. Consider yourself fortunate if your dog is in Lauren's great care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
