About: I welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog—or pair of dogs—gets plenty of individual attention in a relaxed home environment, with a fenced yard and my friendly Bichon, Apple, for company. I've been a dog owner for 16 years, including two Shih Tzus who lived to 16 and 14, so I'm also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. Apple is extremely dog-friendly and enjoys dogs of many sizes, especially those around her size or somewhat larger. I want your dog to feel at home here. I'm happy to follow your normal feeding, sleeping and medication routines, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. I also send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you're away. I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar. When I’m home, guest dogs are welcome to roam the house and fenced yard. If I need to be away briefly, I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog is accustomed to. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs if your dog is accustomed to using one, although I also have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I’m happy to work with each owner to maintain their dog's normal overnight routine.

About: We have been around dogs our entire lives and have always felt a deep connection with animals. We do have crates available if nap time/down time away from the others is needed. Our 5 year old Newfoundland, Boulder, is a gentle giant, who is extraordinarily patient and friendly. Our 5 month old yellow lab, Brick, is a sweetheart, and still a growing puppy. He has lots of energy and is a quick learner, eager to please, and up for lots of play. He does like his naps, as does Boulder, so we do have a healthy ebb and flow to the rhythms of life here. We have a 4 foot fence around our backyard with about half an acre of land to run around in. We also have a very safe neighborhood that only has one entrance, so there are few cars. With over a mile of sidewalks, there are plenty of sniffing opportunities when we are out on our walks. Since we do have a current puppy in our home, our house is puppy proof. Our pantry door stays shut 24/7, there are no poisonous plants nearby,all cords and wires are tucked away, and no shoes are left out. If you would rather have us care for your dog in your home, we are very conscientious, of the routines and guidelines you set out for us.

Canon loved his time with Beth and her family!! Beth provided daily updates and pictures which we loved seeing. Between Beth, her kids and her dog Rai, Canon got lots of love and attention!! And plenty of running around. Boy slept so good the night we picked him up. We would highly recommend Beth and would definitely use her again!!”
“Amanda & Anton are both so amazing to work with! They have a lot of great experience with various types of dogs and got my dog assimilated into their clan seamlessly. I was very impressed as my dog is often mopey whenever I leave and has had issues with some dogs and cats in the past. The got him to be part of the family in less than 24 hours and he has a great weekend away! My dog is also special needs and has a lot of food allergies. They did a great job handling all his various medications and feeding routine. Their attention to detail and care for his needs made me feel better to leave him for the weekend and I felt very confident that he was in good hands.”

She was very responsive and caring in the lead up to his stay, and we even had a meet and greet beforehand to ensure we could pass on all instructions… He was well exercised and well loved during the eight days or so that we were gone.
