About: Hi! Limited availability but would love to play with new friends (: I loved animals since I can remember, when I was little I used to bring every stray dog or cat home driving my parents crazy haha. I also used to help at shelters and my neighbors with their pets. I’m not afraid of any breed and I think every pet deserves a chance! I currently own 1 dog and 12 rats. In the past I took care of puppies and kittens like also other small animals. I can also take any small animal to my care. I’m energetic, playful, love to give belly scratches and snuggles! I will be a primary caretaker to animals and they will be with me for 24/7. I hope you will like my profile and let me take care of your fuzzy friend! Let me know if you have any questions! I will try to find time if you’re in emergency situation so ask! Availability limited but will try to work something out with you (: Currently not offering boarding or day care. But if I be selected to drop in visits or stays, making sure that your pet is in safe hands is my priority!
“I felt very comfortable leaving my pups while Sarah checked in on them. She did a great job! I really appreciated the pictures and updates she sent. Zuni and Millie are looking forward to the next visit!”

About: I started dog sittng in college for my professors and quickly grew to love it. I've gained experience walking, feeding, and caring for dogs, and I bring these skills to my own pets as well. I'm excited to provide the same care and attention to your dog while you're away. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can accomodate your need. I also offer pickup and drop-off services for a small fee. I have a fenced yard providing a secured space for your dog to play and relax. I also have a senior male Australian Shedperd who loves to play with other dogs, so your pet will have a friendly companion during the stay.
“Awesome sitter!! Michael watched my cat Conan for 10 days with little notice given beforehand and did an amazing job! Conan loved spending time with Michael and looked happy and well cared for when I returned. Michael followed all my instructions to a tea and cleaned up all the cat bowls and dishes. He sent me photos while I was away and made me feel like Conan was well cared for. Thanks Michael and I will book him again!”

About: As a dedicated cat owner, I know that every cat has a unique personality and routine. I have experience caring for kittens, adult cats, and more timid or anxious cats, and I’m comfortable with feeding, medications (if needed), litter box maintenance, enrichment, and giving pets the patience they deserve. I’ll make sure your cat feels safe and cared for while keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable drop-in visits throughout the week. I understand that cats thrive on consistency, so I do my best to keep their routine as close to normal as possible. Whether your cat needs a quick check-in, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, or extra attention, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care and plenty of updates while you’re away. Your cat’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. During each visit, I’ll follow your care instructions carefully, make sure food and water are fresh, clean the litter box, and spend quality time playing or simply keeping your cat company (whatever they enjoy most.) I’ll also keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health and send detailed updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: My family raised Rottweilers growing up at a young age. I eventually had my own American bulldog during college and frequently watch my friend's English Mastiff. I have a unique schedule in which I typically only work every third day, so days off I am more than able to take care of your dog! From long walks to all the cuddles, let me make sure your furry friend is taken care of! I work every third day for 24 hours, so on my days off I am more than able to help pet sit or walk your dog throughout the entire time I am off. I am typically available even on short notice as long as it is a day I am not scheduled to work. I have a large townhouse with plenty of nearby walking trails and forest preserves, as well as a very large sectional for cuddles! Whatever your pet prefers, I can accommodate. From playing with their toys to getting extra treats, your dog will be loved just as if they were my own.

I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific instructions you provide. About: I've been taking care of my dog, a lovable mutt named Winston, for the last six years. In that time I've learned about the importance of patience, play time, and just how far a good tummy rub can go. I am currently looking for full-time work after a layoff. I have open availability for check-ins with your dogs, walks, and whatever else is needed. I ensure that every pet that I come into contact with is well taken care of. I have a friendly demeanor with every animal that I come across and enjoy playing with all different types of dogs!
About: I graduated from University of Illinois this May, and I am looking to make some money before starting work at the end of July. I know first-hand how important a pet is to you/your family, and how important finding reliable care is, so I'm here to help! I have grown up taking care of my family pets (a cat and dog) and many others around my neighborhood. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, and I look forward to meeting yours! I have a fairly flexible schedule, and flexible cancellation policy. I will try my best to accept same day bookings, so please reach out to me, and I would be glad to make something work! I am very patient and am glad to work with your pet to meet their needs. I am also a very active person, so I would be glad to take your dog on a longer walk or run if you would like.
About: I have been around dogs my entire life, starting when my mom and I rescued a Corgi when I was ten years old. In College, I adopted a German/ Sheppard Pit Bull Mix named ACE and he taught me a lot about taking care of animals on my own and growing as a human being. Not just walks, but attention, exercise, discipline, and sacrifice 24/7. I am a genuine, reliable person that has a lot of free time as a hockey broadcaster in my summers and I want to help you take care of your dog in a loving, reliable, and most importantly flexible way for you or your family. I live in Naperville, IL and willing to accommodate close to 10 miles:) I Only work weekends, so I can work through the week! Sundays are also a good day for me too usually, I am a sports broadcaster so I have weird hours haha but free a lot in the summer :) Big walking guy, with trails and local suburb paths for us. Water is always out, and toys and calm music if need be. Treats and fun always.

About: My expertise and background lie in zoo and wildlife biology. For the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with a number of reputable animal and wildlife properties, including shelters, nature centers (e.g., Indiana Dunes State Park and Lyman Woods Interpretive Center), wildlife rehab. facilities (e.g., Willowbrook Wildlife Center), and zoological societies (e.g., Safari Lake Geneva). I have an unparalleled passion for animals of all breeds and species, possessing direct experience with the following: dogs, cats, rodents, herps, birds, malacostracans, arachnids, and various hooved mammals (horses, giraffes, camels, donkeys, zebras, antelope, etc.). Our family has also owned a diverse array of critters, great and small; my husband and I have been proud rat parents (very heartbreaking that they only live a few years) and are current rescue parents of a leopard gecko, bearded dragon, and albino Florida kingsnake! As a part-time sitter, I am well-versed in walking, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. For the time being, I am working through Rover part-time on my days off. What better way to spend my free time than to love on pets? :) I’m happy to walk, bathe, feed, and provide medication if need be to your pet. I especially enjoy playtime (e.g. fetch) whether within my client's home, in a fenced-in yard, or at a local park.
“Valerie did a great job for us while we were out of town for five days. Our dog, cat, fish, and house were well taken care of. We enjoyed being notified via the app when Valerie started and ended her visits. Her added photos and videos of our animals provided us assurance all was well and were fun to see. We provided Valerie with detailed care directions for our dog, cat, fish, and house needs. It was great to see those directions being put into action via Valerie's photos and videos. Thank you, Valerie, for taking care of our pet family members and home while we were traveling. We greatly appreciate your efforts.”

“I have a very shy kitty. I was shocked when she warmed up to Jessica so immediately. When I returned home, I found the litter box clean and a very happy cat. I would be happy for her to stay with my cat any time.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Warrenville
Kathryn was on time and very communicative before and after her stay! It was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving my dog with someone new, but Kathryn was incredibly reassuring and made the whole experience so easy. Would definitely recommend her!

We are a repeat client of Bonnie’s and have been very happy with the diligent and loving care she has given our dog while we were away. She has earned her star sitter rating. Bonnie went above and beyond to see that our dog was well taken care of, and having confidence in her gave us peace of mind, too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
