Caring Pet Lover w/ Vet Experience
While I'm new to Rover, I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, from dogs and cats to all kinds of pocket pets, so caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. I genuinely love being around animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, comfortable, and cared for. I've committed my career to caring for pets, and for the past five years I’ve also worked in client services at an animal hospital, which has given me even more experience understanding pets and their individual needs. I’ve learned how important patience, kindness, attention to detail, and communication are when caring for someone’s beloved pet. I’ve cared for dogs and cats for family and friends over the years, and I currently pet-sit for an adorable senior dog, Sadie, multiple times a week. I’m comfortable with everything from walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles to giving medications and providing overnight, in-home care. I know that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I love getting to know those little quirks that make them who they are. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and needs some time to warm up, or a senior who needs a little extra patience, I’m committed to making sure they get the care and attention they need and building trust with the client. Most importantly, I understand that when you hire someone to care for your pet, you’re trusting them with a member of your family. I take that trust seriously and want both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable with me. I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and care I would want for my own, while keeping you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I can help pets feel comfortable by keeping them in their familiar environment and maintaining their usual routines. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration when needed, and plenty of quality time and attention. I’m also available for overnight pet sitting in your home if your pet would benefit from having someone there with them overnight. Because I have a cat at home who isn’t comfortable around unfamiliar animals, I typically don’t offer boarding in my own home. My focus is on making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Mei Lei was so caring towards our dog! She was prompt and timely in all her check ins, shared pictures and was flexible when our trip got delayed. She was respectful of our home and our dog really enjoyed spending time with her! Would definitely book Mei Lei again for dog sitting!

Mei Li walked my dog, Sadie, for 30 minutes around our neighborhood. Sadie can pull on the leash and sometimes eat things off the ground, but Mei Li did a great job making sure Sadie was on her best behavior and didn’t get into anything she shouldn’t have. Sadie came back tired from a long walk, and was happy to interact with Mei Li before she left. Sadie will definitely be asking for Mei Li to take her on more walks!
Mei is an exceptional pet caregiver. She has watched my dog overnight and taken her for walks during the day on several occasions. This has included after my dog had surgery, which Mei made sure to take extra precaution and follow any instructions given. She is attentive, caring, and great with all animals due to her experience working at a vet clinic, as well as years owning dogs and other pets herself. Whenever I need someone to take care of my dog for a couple of hours or nights, I look toward Mei as I know she treats all animals as her own and makes pets feel safe when their owner is not home.
Meili is one of the most caring and responsible pet caregivers I know. After working at a veterinary clinic for over five years, she has developed an incredible understanding of animals and their individual needs. She is patient, attentive, compassionate, and genuinely loves making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine! I work full-time at an animal hospital, so caring for animals is already a big part of my day. I’m available for pet care every day after 7 PM, as well as all day Tuesdays, before noon on Thursdays, after 2 PM on Saturdays, and all day Sundays. If needed, I'm also available for an early morning drop-in before my shifts. • Monday (off for Labor Day 9/7): 7:20 AM–7:00 PM • Tuesday: Off • Wednesday: 7:20 AM–5:00 PM • Thursday: 12:30 PM–6:00 PM • Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM • Alternating Saturdays (starting 9/5/26): 7:50 AM–2:00 PM I’m happy to work with pet parents to find a schedule that fits their pet’s routine, whether that’s an evening walk or drop-in, medication administration, quality time, or overnight care.

I am happy to send photos and videos of your pet during my care, and would love to do a meet and greet prior to ensure safety and a good fit!
