“She did a great job with my dogs Sutton and Chaz for weekend drop-ins! I honestly don’t know how she managed to walk both of them together, because Sutton can be a terrible walker, but I came home to two very happy dogs. Everything was taken care of, and it was such a relief knowing they were in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her!”

“Annika is so wonderful! I could not have asked for better care for my girl. I’m so thankful for her help and I know Wink was happy to see her everyday!”

“Jessica watched our dog for over a week. She asked clarifying questions anytime she needed to and was excellent in her communication with us while we were away. She also takes the best pictures 😊 We would absolutely book her again!!”

“Bonnie was very nice and willing to do a meet and greet to make sure my animals were comfortable with her. She sent tons of pictures and updates and although she ran into a small problem at one point she handled it well!”

About: I started dog sittng in college for my professors and quickly grew to love it. I've gained experience walking, feeding, and caring for dogs, and I bring these skills to my own pets as well. I'm excited to provide the same care and attention to your dog while you're away. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can accomodate your need. I also offer pickup and drop-off services for a small fee. I have a fenced yard providing a secured space for your dog to play and relax. I also have a senior male Australian Shedperd who loves to play with other dogs, so your pet will have a friendly companion during the stay.

About: I worked at a dog kennel/police dog training facility over the summers as a teen so I'm familiar with many different dog breeds. I am happy to care your furry friends any way that works best for them and their routine within a safe and familiar environment, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

About: I have been dog sitting or walking for the last seven years. Also, I worked for a dog daycare for about 2 years. I'm experienced in giving medication and getting stubborn dogs to eat their food. I'm comfortable walking any size or breed of dog. I will be available through the summer and possibly during the school year. The daily or weekly care depends on how many pets I'm caring for at a time. Between the end of August to the beginning of May, I can sit on the weekends. I do require a meeting with owners and the dogs before I dog sit. I'm comfortable to come to my clients home to care for them. If that is taking for a walk or just spending some time with them. I have two friendly beagles that love anyone and a fenced in back yard. I do have a crate of it is need.

“We absolutely love Molly! She's professional and goes above and beyond to ensure the fur babies she's caring for are truly taken care of. She did an excellent job taking care of Mavis, our cat, while we were out of town. We plan on rebooking Molly, when we travel again at the end of August.”

About: I have lived all my life surrounded by dogs, growing up we had two bichon frises who were brother and sister. They had very long and happy lives reaching 13 and 15 years old. My family has always been big on dogs with my oldest sister owning three (two yorkies and a german spitz) and my older sister owning two (border collie and medium large mix). I also have a dog Bo, we think he’s a pointer mix but he is very sweet and friendly. I can walk, or jog to keep your dog active Cold weather and snow is not an issue. I am currently working part time. Saturday Sunday Monday, then Monday Tuesday rotating. Beginning in April I will have classes Monday-Friday from 9-4. I can be available for overnight stays during the week if your furry friend is okay alone from 9-4. For overnight stays and drop ins I am happy to take dogs with or without fenced in yards on walks whenever your pup wants to!
“Alexis did an amazing job with my cat! She was able to give him his oral medication (which is not easy to shove down his throat) and his inhaler. She earned his trust and he loved her by the end. Alexis sent me videos and pictures every time she would drop in. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.”

About: I trained my German Shepherd, Dakota, and taught him all 25 of the tricks that he knows! I have trained and lived with that 80lb pup with behavioral issues, so I am confident even with the biggest, craziest dogs! I have a soft spot for big dogs because of Dakota, but I also grew up with 3 Chihuahua mixes and a Border Collie which cemented my love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments! During the school year, I have college classes Monday through Thursday every week, but they are spread out if I needed to let any dogs out or take them for brisk walks in between! On the weekends, I don’t ever have a strict schedule. In the summer, my availability varies moreso by week! I let the animals warm up to me first before petting, picking up, or feeding, as to keep them as comfortable as possible. I love playing with cats and dogs indoors or outdoors. I have lived in Wheaton for my entire life, so I know the Wheaton area and all of its surrounding towns very well so I can take pets on longer or shorter walks as need be!

“Courtney was amazing. I was nervous to leave my kitties while we’re out of town for a few days, but she made us completely at ease with regular updates and photos. One of my cats is terrified of new people and recently underwent surgery that left her with almost no teeth. Courtney left some soft food under where she was hiding, which was so nice and appreciated! Will definitely book her again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Chicago
Barbara was truly exceptional with our beagle, Paige. After recently losing our other beagle, Penny, it was especially emotional to leave her, but Barbara gave us complete peace of mind. She cared for Paige with so much love, kindness, and attention—it was clear Paige was in wonderful hands. Barbara was reliable, communicative, and thoughtful, and her updates meant so much to us while we were away. She went above and beyond, and we are incredibly grateful to have found her. We highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate pet care. Paige adores her, and we will absolutely be booking with her again. 🐾💛
