“Justine and Brett were amazing to work with. We were first time rover users and from the first message I sent they were great with communicating and setting up the booking. They were super friendly and welcoming. You can also be confident that with Justine’s background working with pets she knows what questions to ask to take the best care of your dog and they really do treat your dog like their own. “Ash was amazing!! They took excellent care of our two cats and provided consistent communication throughout the visits. I would highly recommend Ash to anyone looking for a pet sitter, they will go above and beyond for you and your pets!”

“It was a great experience working with Dana. She sent me updates and made sure my cat boy Felix was comfortable. I imagine he was disappointed coming back since he won’t be seeing as many animal friends. I would surely recommend to anyone that Dana pet sit for them.”

“Rachel took amazing care of our cat for 19 days, and we couldn’t be happier with her service! She was punctual every day, spent quality time with our cat, and made sure he felt safe and comfortable. Our cat is usually very shy, but he warmed up to her within just a couple of days, which speaks volumes about her patience and kindness. She played with him daily, ensured he was well-fed, and kept his litter box clean. We also really appreciated the daily notes and pictures she sent through Rover, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Rachel is a fantastic pet sitter, and we would absolutely work with her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!”

“Leila was a big help. I booked her for last minute for multiple hours, and she didn’t bat an eye. She just asked where, when and what do you need from me? (In a good way). She completely exceeded expectations and I hope she is available to watch him again in the future!”

“I'm so happy with Ashley. She updated me with a detailed description of what she did and how roofy was with pictures after every visit. From pictures she sent I could tell roofy was relaxed and happy around her. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Beth is a good communicator and answers promptly. She is flexible and agreed to take care of my cat with very short notice. She contacted me promptly when she had questions. She is thoughtful and she anticipates what she will need to meet the pet’s needs. We are very grateful that she could help us out! Beth is a great cat sitter!”

“Agnieska provided kind and gentle care to our deaf, geriatric cat. He soon warmed up to her and when she came to drop off keys, he wanted pets from his new friend— it was clear he trusted her. We enjoyed Agnieska’s daily reports complete with photos. It was great to see each day how playful & trusting he was with her, flipping on his side as he does when he wants to be petted & brushed. We wholeheartedly recommend Agnieska!”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Jordan. I have a difficult cat, but she was so kind and understanding of his needs and she really valued keeping him comfortable while I was away. She was gentle with both of my pets, and communicated well with me about her visit. I already have her booked for a future commitment!”

“Joan took care of our kitty Mina while we were away for a week and she was absolutely wonderful! Mina is usually a very shy kitty and doesn't like strangers so we figured she wouldn't be seen for most of the week. But Joan was able to share pictures of Mina on almost all the days she visited! Joan has a very gentle and friendly disposition, which draws both animals and children alike. My children were even asking after they got home if they could have Mina's sitter come babysit them! Highly recommend.”

“Great experience! We are so grateful for the excellent care our cats received with Mollie. Her detailed reports alleviated any worries we had about how the boys were doing. She is punctual and communicative, we would absolutely recommend booking with Mollie!”

About: Cats have their own language, and I genuinely love speaking it. Whether it’s slow‑blink diplomacy, respectful distance, or full‑body flops demanding attention, I follow their lead and make sure they feel completely secure. I’m big on creating a calm, cozy environment where cats can explore, nap, or supervise me from their favorite perch. I keep routines steady, litter boxes fresh, and enrichment fun- from feather wands to treat puzzles to those dramatic “chase me but not too fast” hallway sprints. I’m patient with shy or cautious cats and happily match the energy of outgoing, social ones. My goal is always the same: help your cat feel safe, relaxed, and totally at home while you’re away.
“Catherine was wonderful with my three cats. From our first meeting, it was apparent that she loves animals. I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in her care. She took excellent care of them. I highly recommend Catherine for your pet sitting needs. I am very relieved to have found her through Rover and will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, assisting in training and grooming, my entire life. I worked in a grooming parlor throughout high school and have owned a number of animals both domestic and exotic since childhood, including cats, dogs, reptiles, and fish. I am currently training my youngest dog as my service dog for a newly discovered dysautonomic condition, which has given me a plethora of knowledge outside of the basic obedience training I have provided the dogs in my care my entire life. I am experienced in medication administration, senior care, dietary restrictions/allergies, and am familiar with behavioral issues stemming from insecurity or severe anxiety, giving me great attention to dog behavior and body language. I am also able to do a basic full body groom for dogs including paw pads, nails, teeth, and ears from home, limited to dogs requiring only brush outs and not actual haircuts for their breed. With my experience in pet anxiety, particularly separation, I am also very attentive to enrichment for the dogs I care for, ensuring they are mentally and physically stimulated to avoid any destructive behaviors from boredom. I am also a beginner to dog sports, something I am exploring the different forms of with my current dogs to see which sport they thrive in and enjoy. I am technically unemployed, meaning my routine can be adjusted to fit the needs of the dogs I am caring for. My usual routines are driving kids to and from school or taking them and our puppy on outdoor adventures (walking, fishing, swimming, etc) that would easily be able to include your own dog! We also recently lost our high needs senior dog last March, which has left us with a lot of extra time to love on another pup. It leaves a lot of flexibility for anyone with a wonky schedule or a 9-5 that needs care during normal working hours. I am currently a caregiver for my 7 year old epileptic brother who would be home outside of school and most weekdays during sitting, which means that any dogs I board should be comfortable with respectful kids. I also have a 2 year old friendly white pittie and small senior chihuahua mix that would give your dog someone to play with! If your dog does need to be the only dog, I would be able to sit rather than board at my own home for their comfort, as I am unable to offer boarding without my dogs being home. Outside of driving my brother to and from school or the occasional doctor's appointment, I am typically pretty available outside of my puppy's training schedule which I am able to adjust as needed. I offer enrichment, am able to crate, and have a long line on our patio with a plethora of toys from balls to a flirt pole for outdoor play. We also live in a complex with two built in dog parks that I use when empty, which I would be able to bring your dog to with or without my own. I am able to do training, enrichment, medication administration, meals, outdoor time, and provide walks as needed and to the degree your animal needs. I also have experience in caring for both ill and healthy exotic animals should you have any other pets in your home that need care.

“Our dog loved her time with Ashley. She felt 100% at home which was very important to me. I tried a pet store doggy day care previously and it was overwhelming to my dog, she was not happy when I picked her up. When I picked her up from Ashley she was so happy and I could tell she had a great day. Ashley sent pictures. was very responsive, and she was very accommodating. I will definitely be booking with her again!!!”

“Super happy with our experience with Esha and Vineeth. Esha always replied promptly which was so reassuring. I also loved getting regular picture updates throughout the day. Our doggo was taken outside for breaks which was awesome, and she was super flexible with pick up and drop off times. Miko was so well cared for - we will definitely be booking again! 😊”

“Karissa is awesome. My Stu has so much fun and I love the photos and updates she shares. Any pup would be lucky to spend some time with Karissa, her people and fur family. Glad I found her!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my daily routine. From playful puppy stages to slower-paced senior dogs, I have experience in it all. Whether it’s feeding and walking or playtime and cuddles, I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I also have two cats of my own that I absolutely spoil, so I understand how important it is to give pets plenty of attention, affection, and care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with someone nearby, I’m happy to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I start Physician Assistant school in the fall, so for now I have lots of free time and can dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. Because my schedule is open, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. With the weather getting warmer, I’m especially happy to take dogs out for walks or spend time outdoors so they can get fresh air and exercise. My flexible routine allows me to make sure pets receive consistent care, attention, and companionship while their owners are away. I live in a clean, spacious apartment that provides a calm and comfortable environment for pets. My complex also has great outdoor spaces, including courtyards and a dog park, as well as safe walking areas, which makes it easy for dogs to get fresh air, exercise, and playtime. At home, I have two very loved cats who are used to a quiet, well-maintained environment. They are a big part of my life and help make our home feel warm and welcoming. I always prioritize slow, respectful introductions so every pet feels comfortable and safe in the space. Safety and routine are very important to me. I’m able to follow any specific care instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medication routines, or crate training if needed. My goal is to create a stress-free, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed and cared for while you’re away.
About: I have spent my life caring for others—as a registered nurse, mom, and lifelong animal lover. My nursing background has taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to provide calm, compassionate care, which I bring to every pet I meet. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your pup needs long walks, playtime, extra cuddles, medication reminders, or just a calm and reassuring presence while you’re away, I will care for them like part of my own family. I have owned dogs for 30 years...chihuahuas, terriers, a beagle, lab and Aussie mixes. I’m especially comfortable with pets who need a little extra attention, including puppies learning routines, shy or anxious dogs who need patience, and senior pets who may require gentler care. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, loved, and happy—and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. As a school nurse, I have a flexible summer schedule that allows me to spend lots of time at home providing attentive, personalized care. I’m available for walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping your dog’s normal routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. As a registered nurse, I understand the importance of being attentive and dependable. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family with a calm, loving environment, plenty of attention, supervised play, walks, and time to relax. I make sure dogs have a safe space to feel comfortable and follow their usual routines as closely as possible.
About: We lost our cocker spaniel of 13 years about 2 years ago so I love to take care of dogs now that we don’t have a dog to pamper. We care for one dog at a time unless two dogs are siblings or good friends then that’s OK. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park nearby or just snuggle on the couch and chill with them. I realize how important your baby is to you and will give them love, companionship and special care. We love having a dog around. I’m retired and an empty nester so I am flexible and around all the time. I love to walk around Lake Ellyn Park and Glenbard West HS just down my street. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. We love hanging out in the back yard or the porch with our dog guests and take frequent walks.
“Danielle was absolutely phenomenal.! She truly went above and beyond of what I expected of care for King. She was very comfortable and knowledgeable of his breed and handled him with great care & even thought me a few training points. So thankful for her and accepting my booking at such short notice as well. 10/10 ⭐️”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is truly a passion of mine. I currently have one dog and two cats who are a huge part of my family, we love them dearly and treat all pets in our home the same way. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup lots of attention, playtime, and care. I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding, and my schedule is very open. I live near several trails and parks, so walks and outdoor time are a big part of the experience here. I also have a very active 8 year old Lab named Layla who absolutely adores people and other dogs. She’s friendly, playful, and loves having company. Because I have two cats in the home, visiting dogs must be cat-friendly. At this time, I’m not able to accommodate pit bulls or pit mixes. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I aim to make them feel right at home while they’re with us. I’m currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! In my home your pet will be family to us. While your pup is in my home, she will go on walks and plays right along side my dog. Your pet will have full range of our home, and will be treated no differently than my dog, so your dog might come home more spoiled than ever!
“Second time benefiting from Christina’s care of our doodle and the third experience is already booked! So much peace of mind knowing our pup is in good hands. Thanks Christina and fam!”

“Allison is awesome. She walks my dog, Binx 3-4 times a week while I’m at work, and she’s been absolutely wonderful. She’s also so pleasant and communicates extremely well. She is always incredibly accommodating whenever I need to adjust a walk time and is always understanding. My dog is always excited to see her, It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. I highly recommend Allison 10/10”

“Christine, what a godsend. She helped me through a tough situation for which I will forever be grateful. I would rebook this woman's services for everyday if I could afford it. She's kind, great with my little Vinnie, forever has a smile on her face, timely, dependable and helpful. You could not go wrong using her as your dog walker. Thank you Christine for a wonderful experience.”

About: Hello! I'm Grace, but you can also call me Mairin! For as long as I can remember, I have had animals in my life to care for and love. Cats, dogs, the occasional fish and reptile…I have worked hard to take care of the animals in my life, and sometimes the animals in other people’s lives. I ensure the happiness, well-being, and most importantly, safety and health of all the animals I’ve cared for. I have my own cats and a dog at home, and am their primary caretaker. I clean up after them, make sure their bowls are clean, make sure they’re fed on time and have fresh water, and take the dog out for walks whenever possible. I am also experienced in raising and training puppies, as I was responsible for caring for the puppies from the day they were born until they could be adopted. I trained them by helping them get used to harnesses and leashes, weening them onto wet and dry food, and socializing them with the cats! I have plenty of time to spend with your pets and ensure their happiness and wellbeing! I do have a job alongside pet-sitting, but I will do my best to keep my calendar updated so you know when I am available! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I treat my client’s pets as I do my own. I make sure they’re fed and have a clean dish full of fresh water, and make sure to meet any of their needs properly and efficiently. I take care to follow the pet’s schedule, if any, and make sure they receive proper enrichment and time outside, whether it be playing in the yard or going on walks. I also take care to be diligent and check for any illness and odd behavior. Communication is incredibly important to me, and I will frequently send updates as well as photos to any pet parents!
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up caring for both cats and dogs. Throughout childhood, my family had a cat and we frequently dog-sat for multiple dogs. In college, I continued pet sitting as a side job and gained even more hands-on experience. I regularly care for friends’ and family’s dogs when they travel. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and ages, and I genuinely love animals. I especially enjoy walking dogs and making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I am available Friday-Sunday. I am work from home Friday, so I can help out during the day, and through the weekend. I am flexible to your schedule! When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine and environment consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention and playtime (my favorite!). I always check that doors, gates, and crates are secure before and after visits. I am extremely responsible as I have cared for pets my whole life. For walks, I use secure leashes and harnesses as instructed by the owner and stay aware of my surroundings at all times. I avoid unsafe areas, watch closely for other animals, and make sure each walk matches the pet’s energy level and needs. I have experience with all sizes of dogs. I treat every home and pet with respect and care, follow all owner instructions closely, and provide updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are safe and happy. I would love to care for your pet!
“Victoria has been very proactive in learning about our doggo’s needs & quirks. She has communicated well with us, letting us know when she’ll arrive & flexible in her availability, even on short notice.”

“Beth was great! We have a large dog who can be pretty skittish around new people, especially those entering the house. When Beth came through they became fast friends as our dog, Brandy, eased up to Beth almost immediately. Highly recommend Beth!”

“Sydney was amazing! She took such great care of Toshi during his walks, and he looked so happy in all the photos she sent. She kept me updated, was very communicative, and has such a positive attitude. You can really tell how much she loves animals. I’m so glad I chose her, and I’ll definitely book with her again. I highly recommend Sydney!”

“Madison did a great job walking a Bubi ❤️🤗 it wasn’t hard for her to walk her additional 30 minutes in order to fulfill our kind request ! Outstanding job !❤️🩷 Thanks very much”

“John treats my dog like his own. I have a large dog, and she can be difficult to handle, but John is comfortable setting boundaries and managing her behavior. He is always friendly and arrives on time, and my dog is always happy and well exercised after her walks. He communicates well, and I would trust him with my dog any time.”

“Zack was very conscientious in meeting Trixie before our set schedule of walks. He was aware of her sniffing for food all the time and made sure to stop that behavior. We were able to be flexible with our schedule and his. I would hire him again”

“Morgan is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond to ensure Peanut is happy and well-exercised. She always provides detailed updates, which gives me such peace of mind when I’m busy with work or away. It’s clear she truly loves what she does, and her professionalism and warmth make her a standout. Thanks Morgan!”

About: I’ve spent the last 20+ years caring for pretty much every kind of pet you can imagine- dogs, cats, tortoises, iguanas, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, turtles, chickens, rabbits… if it hops, waddles, wiggles, or purrs, I’ve probably fed it, walked it, or given it a pep talk! Animals have always been my grounding place, and I love making sure every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. I’m calm, attentive, and great at reading their little quirks, which helps them settle in quickly and feel confident in a new environment. I handle all the essentials with ease- feeding routines, walks, playtime, cleaning, basic training, and juggling multiple pets at once. Whether your pet needs structure, exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I create a stress‑free, cozy space where they can relax and feel right at home. Your pet won’t just be watched- they’ll be cared for with intention, patience, and love. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine, which means your pet gets consistent attention every single day. From Monday–Thursday, I work 8 AM–4 PM just minutes from home, so I’m able to pop in during lunch for mid‑day check-ins, potty breaks, or a little extra love. This makes weekday care smooth and reliable- ideal for boarding, walks, drop-ins, and daycare. Fridays are even better: I work remotely, so your pet gets full-day flexibility, extra walks, enrichment time, and a calm, cozy environment. Weekends are completely open, which makes scheduling easy for overnight stays, longer visits, or last‑minute needs. Because my routine is steady and predictable, pets settle in quickly, feel safe, and get the kind of consistent care that helps them relax and enjoy their stay. Since I don’t have pets of my own, visiting pets get a quiet space and my full attention the moment they arrive. Their routine becomes my routine- familiar feeding times, comfy rest breaks, play sessions, and walks that match their energy and needs. My apartment building also has a pet park, giving them an easy, safe place to stretch out, explore, and enjoy some outdoor time during their stay. There’s also a quiet little park just across the way- perfect for pups who enjoy gentler spaces over the hustle of community dog areas. We also have a pet wash room in the building, perfect for muddy paws, quick rinses, or keeping your pet fresh and comfortable during their stay. Your pet gets focus, consistency, and a cozy environment made just for them. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely. I maintain feeding schedules, walk routes, play preferences, and any training or house rules they already use. I keep the home tidy, respect the space, and make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well‑cared‑for while their owners are away.

Just like anyone, they deserve our trust and need to feel safe. Every pet is unique and I believe it's important to get to know each pet's personality.
About: 12+ Years of experience working with and caring for both dogs and cats. Briefly worked the summer at the Lake Forest Kennel Club taking care of and spending time with boarded cats and dogs. I’ve personally cared for numerous family pets. In addition, I have also had numerous "exotic" pets from rats to snakes and have taken car of numerous other "exotics" as well. No pet is off-limits to me! I have volunteered at numerous animal shelters in the Chicagoland area and gained valuable animal care experience. I'm an animal lover at heart, and enjoy taking care of and spending time with all animals! I work from home 2 days a week and 3 days in the office. My office days usually consist of me being gone between 6-8 hours. Previous boarders have all done well while I’m away, and enjoy the company of my other two pups. I live in a ranch house with my two dogs and two cats. They are very familiar with dogs, and are used to new friends coming in and out. I have a pet gate in case I need to separate animals, but have never had problems in the past.

“Amanda and Anton were wonderful. Our dog Winston was well taken care of by their family. They communicated and sent pictures while we were away. We would not hesitate to use them again.”

One of my favorite parts was how they sent pictures of our dog playing and kept us updated throughout the weekend. Highly recommend and we will be booking again!”

“Ashley was so wonderful with our dog, Mocha, and was extremely thorough with everything. This was the first time our puppy stayed overnight somewhere, and we felt so comfortable having Mocha stay with her & her family 😊”

“David and Susan were easy to schedule with and very accommodating for our dog! They hosted our lab for a long vacation and made sure she was loved while we were away! Thank you!”

“Linda and her family took care of Sunny. They took care of him as if he was family, sent me plenty of updates while he was boarded. We’ll definitely be becoming a repeat customer.”
“Amanda and her family were wonderful with my dog, Scout. Amanda was very communicative and responsive when planning Scouts stay. While we were away she sent lots of texts and it was clear that her family loves having dogs in their home. I loved knowing Scout was very cared for and loved on while we were gone.”

“Absolutely fantastic, took great care of my boy. Kept him busy with activities and me updated with photos. When he was ignoring food, they made him chicken to make sure he ate. 10/5, highly recommended.”

“Traci was so accommodating for our pup and he loved his stay! She sent us so many pictures and videos that we were never left wondering what he was up to. We will definitely be reaching out to Traci for any future pupsitting needs :)”

“Kelly and Tariq were amazing sitters, took care of our 7 month old pup so well. They kept us updated, sent pictures, and were very accommodating. Their house was well appointed, fenced back yard and a sweet dog of their own to welcome our pup in and keep her company. We were so relieved to have them watch our pup!”

“Our dog Taco LOVES staying with Tyler and how wife (and their two dogs). They are incredibly accommodating and have gone the extra mile to make our pup feel like he's part of their family. Taco is always so excited to go to their home, and you can tell they've created a bond. I know our dog is being cared for AND that he's having a blast. We're so grateful for Tyler and his family! 100% recommend”

“New dog mom and first time Rover user and so so happy that my first connection was Beth! From the start of the conversation through booking she was so helpful and really put my mind at ease!! Canon loved his time with Beth and her family!! Beth provided daily updates and pictures which we loved seeing. Between Beth, her kids and her dog Rai, Canon got lots of love and attention!! And plenty of running around. Boy slept so good the night we picked him up. We would highly recommend Beth and would definitely use her again!!”

“Jenna and her family seemed to do a great job watching our dog! This was our first time using Rover, so we were concerned for his care since typically he stays with family members that he’s accustomed to. He greeted us in his typical nature after being away from us. We appreciate the care that she provided and wouldn’t have any hesitation in having her watch our dog again.”

“This is our second time with Melissa and once again she did a fantastic job. We love how many videos and pictures we get of Pancake! We can tell Pancake loves going there and playing with her dogs and other new friends. Plus Melissa’s family entertains and plays with the dogs too, which is an added bonus- extra attention! Highly recommend!”

“Adriana was great! I left my pup for the first time ever for several days with her. She was so great in keeping me updated on his well being and he even got to make new friends! She’s also very accommodating. I definitely plan on having my pup stay with her when needed.”

“This was Milo’s first time booking with a Rover sitter and Darrilyn was wonderful! You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup with her. I also appreciated the communication and photos we received during his stay. Thanks so much Darrilyn, we will be back!”
