About: Over the past year, I have been actively pet sitting for friends, caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, litter box care, and following specific instructions to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I used to be an IT professional, retired recently after both my kids graduated from college. Now we are empty-nested with no pets no kids. ☺️ I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting, walking, and playtime. When I am going to run some errands, my husband who is working at home and also a pet-lover will watch the fur baby so he/she is accompanied most of the time. After 11 wonderful years together, my beloved dog passed away two years ago. While my heart has healed, I missed the joyful energy, the sound of paws on the floor, and the companionship of a dog in the house. I chose to start pet boarding because it allows me to pour all that lifetime of accumulated love, patience, and spoiling into your furry baby! When your pet stays with me, they won't just be "looked after"—they will be treated with the exact same deep devotion, warmth, and care that I gave my own boy for over a decade. I will only take one pet a time for boarding. Pet will enjoy completely unrestricted, free roam of our home, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a daily routine tailored exactly to their comfort level. Please bring your pets food and treats. If your pet has favorite bed/blanket/toy, bring them, otherwise they can use our dog bed, our sofa and, my bed! Small or medium size dogs (<40 lb).

About: I have been a dog walker/sitter since March of 2013. I am extremely flexible and available on short notice. My number one priority is to give your pet the care it needs. I have plenty of experience caring for animals both big and small. I have had many dogs throughout my life, mostly two at a time. Growing up, I’ve had an American Eskimo and a miniature poodle as pets. I assisted in their daily care and training. Most recently, I had a chihuahua mix and Yorkshire terrier. I feel very competent to care for any pet from any family and of any size. I also have experience caring for cats and fish. About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats and was one of their main caregivers. From feeding and walking to supervising and giving them plenty of love and attention, caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. My boyfriend and I now have our two-year-old boy, Whalon, who is truly family. We include him in everything — hikes, vacations, and everyday adventures. He’s our best friend and a huge part of our lives. I believe caring for an animal is a privilege. I take that responsibility seriously, and I do it with pride, patience, and genuine love. When your companion is with me, they’ll be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work for a school, so I’m up early and home at a reasonable time each day. This allows me to keep a consistent schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. On weekends, I’m usually home spending time with family and my own dog, which means I have plenty of availability and flexibility. I truly enjoy incorporating animals into my everyday life — it never feels like a task, it’s something I love. I’m also big on communication and will always keep you updated so you feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. Whether caring for animals in my home or in a client’s home, safety and comfort always come first. Whalon is our top priority — he’s our pride and joy — and we’re constantly making sure he feels secure, happy, and well cared for. That same level of attention and love is exactly what I provide for your companion. We have a fenced yard where Whalon enjoys plenty of exercise and playtime when we’re not out on walks or hikes. I’m very mindful of routines, supervision, and creating a calm, positive environment so every animal feels at ease.

About: I have been a dog owner for the past 16 years (3 dogs over this time), and currently have a very dog-friendly Bichon frise who is used to playing with dogs of all sizes (her favorites are her size or somewhat larger). My two previous dogs (both Shih tzus) lived to 16 and 14 years, so I am well aware of how to care for more senior dogs. I have a great neighborhood and am happy to walk your dogs with mine. While I have only owned small dogs, I love all kinds of dogs and am happy to welcome yours into my home. I am happy to work with pet owners on any special routines, including sleep, medication and feeding (I have plenty of room in my refrigerator for any special food your dog might require). I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar. I have a fenced yard and a friendly Bichon frise to keep your dogs company. While I prefer crate-trained dogs for times I need to be away briefly, I will welcome your dogs to roam about the house and yard when I am at home. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs, although I have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I am happy to work with each individual dog owner regarding overnight routines.

She was struggling emotionally due to our recent relocation from out of state and being separated from me during my workdays at my new job.
