She was struggling emotionally due to our recent relocation from out of state and being separated from me during my workdays at my new job. About: Over the past year, I have been actively pet sitting for friends, caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, litter box care, and following specific instructions to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting, walking, and playtime, except when I’m traveling occasionally. My journey into Rover boarding comes from a place of deep love for dogs. After 11 wonderful years together, my beloved dog passed away two years ago. While my heart has healed, I missed the joyful energy, the sound of paws on the floor, and the companionship of a dog in the house. I chose to start pet boarding because it allows me to pour all that lifetime of accumulated love, patience, and spoiling into your furry baby! When your pet stays with me, they won't just be "looked after"—they will be treated with the exact same deep devotion, warmth, and care that I gave my own boy for over a decade. I will only take one pet a time for boarding. Pet will enjoy completely unrestricted, free roam of our home, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a daily routine tailored exactly to their comfort level. Please bring your pets food and treats. If your pet has favorite bed/blanket/toy, bring them, otherwise they can use our dog bed, our sofa and, my bed! Small or medium size dogs (<40 lb).
