About: Over the past year, I have been actively pet sitting for friends, caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, litter box care, and following specific instructions to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting, walking, and playtime, except when I’m traveling occasionally. My journey into Rover boarding comes from a place of deep love for dogs. After 11 wonderful years together, my beloved dog passed away two years ago. While my heart has healed, I missed the joyful energy, the sound of paws on the floor, and the companionship of a dog in the house. I chose to start pet boarding because it allows me to pour all that lifetime of accumulated love, patience, and spoiling into your furry baby! When your pet stays with me, they won't just be "looked after"—they will be treated with the exact same deep devotion, warmth, and care that I gave my own boy for over a decade. I will only take one pet a time for boarding. Pet will enjoy completely unrestricted, free roam of our home, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a daily routine tailored exactly to their comfort level. Please bring your pets food and treats. If your pet has favorite bed/blanket/toy, bring them, otherwise they can use our dog bed, our sofa and, my bed! Small or medium size dogs (<40 lb).
About: We treat the foster or sitter dogs as our own. My wife likes dogs, she worked as a volunteer to foster the dog for 3 years, and she continues to foster the rescue dog home. She has full-time to take care of boarding dogs. My wife has no other jobs, she has plenty of time to play or walk dogs as needs. She enjoys taking care of dogs. We can have boarding dogs for any day, we also can pick them up or deliver if need. We have a fenced yard, also have a cage in the home if need. Any dog will be like in its own home. We have toys and also other snacks for dogs.
“Katy was conveniently located near our stay in SF and used her for doggy day care. She took good care of our normally shy/scared dog and did a great job of making him more comfortable.”

About: I Take a Personalized Approach and Maintain Constant Communication I don’t treat all pets the same. I carefully assess the behavior of each animal, understanding that an adult dog has different needs than an energetic puppy or a shy cat. Before accepting any booking, I conduct a detailed consultation to learn about your pet’s routine, fears, favorite activities, and specific medical needs. In addition, I provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. I don’t just say, “They’re doing fine.” I’ll tell you how well they ate, how much they played, and how their walk went, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. My time management and the way I integrate pet care into my daily routine are designed to ensure consistency and individualized attention, as your pet’s routine is essential to their well-being. In summary, my schedule is built around reliability, consistency, and controlled flexibility, ensuring that your pet’s care fits seamlessly into my day without ever feeling rushed or stressful. ● Home-Like Environment, No Crates: My home is fully pet-proofed and designed to make pets feel like they’re in a second home. Pets live alongside me and are never confined to a crate unless specifically requested by the owner. ● 24/7 Supervision: Pets staying in my home receive constant supervision. I only leave for very short, planned periods, and only when the pet is comfortable, safe, and secure. ● Small Group Care: I accept only a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each one receives individualized attention and that the environment remains calm, safe, and manageable. ● Secure Exercise Area: My home features a securely fenced yard where pets can enjoy supervised playtime and socialization (with the owner's approval and if the pet enjoys interacting with others). In summary, I choose the care option that best meets your pet’s emotional and physical needs—whether that means the comfort of staying in their own home or the constant supervision and companionship offered in mine.
“Mike provided outstanding care for our husky and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while we were away. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the day, kept us updated with plenty of photos, and made sure our dog was happy, safe, and well taken care of. We’ve never had such a positive experience with someone watching our dog and it gave us real peace of mind knowing Mike was so attentive and reliable. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I’ve been caring for my Labradoodle for the past 3.5 years, so I understand how much attention, exercise, and love dogs need. From long walks and playtime to maintaining routines and basic training, I’m comfortable handling active and affectionate dogs. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making them feel at home. I’m used to structuring my day around my Labradoodle’s needs - walks, meals, and playtime are already part of my routine. Because of that, caring for another dog feels very natural, and I make sure they get the same consistency and attention. I provide a safe, supervised home with a fully fenced yard for play. My friendly Labradoodle gets along well with other dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, offer crate use if preferred, and allow dogs on furniture so they feel at home.
“I couldn't be happier with the care our puppy received during his first stay with Ashley. From the moment I dropped him off, I felt confident that he was in great hands. I received frequent updates and adorable pictures and videos throughout the day, which really put our minds at ease. The activities she planned were perfect for keeping him engaged and learning. When I picked him up, he was happy and completely worn out from all the fun! We will definitely be booking with Ashley again. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m Kimberly, but I go by Kim 😊 I’ve had dogs my whole life — I’m 39 now, so that’s a lot of years loving pups! I’ve cared for everything from tiny 5 lb cuties to big 120+ lb snugglers, and dogs of all ages and personalities. I’ve worked on training with my own dogs and am comfortable giving medications when needed. As a foster with a local rescue, I’ve helped anxious, scared, and quirky dogs feel safe and loved. I truly believe every dog is unique, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for like family. I work fully remote, so your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and company throughout the day. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your dog. 🏡 I live in a pet-friendly apartment and provide lots of walks, snuggles, and personalized care. I generally keep my bookings limited to ensure each dog gets the attention they need, though I may occasionally take on more during high-demand times like holidays or school breaks. 🏡 ✨ Best fit: dogs that are low to moderate shedders or regularly groomed. I especially love poodles and poodle mixes (doodles)—their energy, intelligence, and personalities are a great match for my home. Smaller low-shedding breeds like schnauzers and shih tzus also do really well here. If your dog is a heavier shedder, feel free to reach out and we can chat. ✨ ⚠️ Safety requirements: 🐾 4–6 ft leash only (no retractables) 🐾 Harness if your dog pulls or is over 40 lbs 🐾 Must be comfortable in a crate when needed 🐾 Must wear a collar with ID tags at all times 🚫 Dogs must have no history of aggression toward other dogs. No toys, bones, or chews from home to help prevent resource guarding or conflicts. 🚫 I maintain a calm, structured, and low-stress environment where dogs can relax and coexist comfortably.
About: Fun, loving and engaging care for your dog! Our family is not ready to commit to owning our own dog just yet- but we are dog lovers and therefore truly enjoy doggy sitting. My wife and I are home every day and can give dogs a potty break every 2 hours or as needed. Dogs that board with us will get 3 walks a day- plus lots of play time in the backyard. We will never watch more than 2 dogs a day/Night. We have a partially fenced yard and can close the open side so your dog can have fun safely in our backyard.
