About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for around 8 years. My experience includes tasks such as, walking, feeding, playing, and even administering insulin shots for various cats. Friends and family have trusted and relied on me to keep their pets safe, happy, and healthy while away. Currently I do not have any other employments, so all my time will be devoted to caring for your pets! This allows me schedule to be extremely flexible to fit your pet's needs. I have 1/4th an acre of fenced in yard with plenty of toys and my own dog (Libby, a Saint Bernard) to keep your dog company and entertained. Your pets would have full access to upstairs, entry, and basement levels.

“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, my name is Erin, and I have been around dogs since the day I was born. I have dog sat many different breeds for my neighbors and family friends. I worked at a dog groomer's as a bather and learned so much about taking care of dogs. The most important lesson I learned during that experience is that patience and kindness are key when interacting with a new dog. Having these two skills is especially important for taking care of senior dogs and nervous dogs. I also learned that a dog experiences the world through their nose. With that knowledge, I always make sure to include sniffing time on walks. Taking different paths and experiencing new smells keeps their mind active and makes the walk 10 times better. I use all of my knowledge to make sure that each walk is a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to meet your pup! For the next few months, I will be on summer break. I only work on the weekends and have always wanted to give Rover a try to meet some new furry friends and help them exercise! I will have plenty of free time during the week, but I am willing to chat to see what works best for you and your dog! I have two dogs whom I love to take on walks in my free time. I always make sure to have two hands on the leash at all times when walking both of my dogs. My older dog (110 lb) is quite reactive and could try to chase something at any moment, so I need to be prepared. My younger dog (70 lb) is very sweet and relaxed on walks and not reactive to other dogs or people; however, he is very skittish around loud noises. If he gets frightened, he may try to run and hide, so keeping two hands on the leash is crucial. I never push my puppies beyond their limit, especially if it is hot outside. Their health and safety are always a concern.

About: Hi there! We’re Colleen and Ryan — a huge animal-loving family from Aurora, Illinois. We both grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and truly can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, we’ve cared for pets of all sizes, from 10-lb lap dogs to 115-lb gentle giants! We live in a house with a large fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime, walks, and fetch. Our two boys (ages 6 and 8) are just as kind and gentle with animals as we are — they’ve grown up learning how to love and care for pets. Our furry family currently includes our goofy and gentle English Labrador, Skye, our sweet and snuggly chihuahua, Nacho, and our two brother cats, Pete and Steve — who basically think they’re dogs and love to join in on the fun! I (Colleen) work from home in talent acquisition, and Ryan is a high school science teacher, so there’s almost always someone home to give your pets plenty of attention and care. We’d love the chance to help care for your pets as if they were our own — they’ll be in wonderful hands with us! I am currently available every day from morning to night. About: I have 3 large dogs in my household, all of very different personalities. On top of that, friends and family have also relied on me to take care of their pets while they are away as well. Recently, I have taken interest in animal rescue, and have helped rescue and send an injured mallard to the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. I am currently a student at west aurora highschool, and I am a member of the national honor society. I come home to my three dogs and sometimes go to Oswego to take care of my families pets over there as well. I will be able to regularly check up on your pets and keep them well hydrated and fed. As well as going on walks to stay active.

About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

About: I've had family that have trusted me with their little senior dog while they went on vacation. I fed them, took them out to use the bathroom, I also helped clean their eyes and made sure they were comfortable. I'm working part time, currently I'm not enrolled in school so I have all morning to spend with my dogs. I have a huge yard so usually we go for a run and then I play fetch with them until my arm give out or until they take a break. After that I make sure their room is clean and if not I go ahead and do a routine clean up. Every week we wash their blankets so they have nice and clean blankets. I have two fur babies of my own, my promise is to take care of your pets like how I would like for someone to take care of mine. My dogs are my literal kids and I love them to death so I make it my priority to show your pets all my love and compassion because I would want them same for my babies .

About: I am patient and I respond quickly to situations. I am very responsible and I can handle and difficult task that happens to come my way. I always have free time after school and in the afternoons I’m always home and during summer as well. I stay at home often and have lots of time to dog sit I am responsible when taking them on a walk every 2 or 3 hours I make sure they always have water available for them. I make sure they get feed and give them treats when they listen. I make sure to clean up after them when taking them in walks. I am careful that no children come near the dogs or cats.
