About: Hi there! We’re Colleen and Ryan — a huge animal-loving family from Aurora, Illinois. We both grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and truly can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, we’ve cared for pets of all sizes, from 10-lb lap dogs to 115-lb gentle giants! We live in a house with a large fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime, walks, and fetch. Our two boys (ages 6 and 8) are just as kind and gentle with animals as we are — they’ve grown up learning how to love and care for pets. Our furry family currently includes our goofy and gentle English Labrador, Skye, our sweet and snuggly chihuahua, Nacho, and our two brother cats, Pete and Steve — who basically think they’re dogs and love to join in on the fun! I (Colleen) work from home in talent acquisition, and Ryan is a high school science teacher, so there’s almost always someone home to give your pets plenty of attention and care. We’d love the chance to help care for your pets as if they were our own — they’ll be in wonderful hands with us! I am currently available every day from morning to night. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets whether having them stay overnight or taking them for quick walks. Just let me know how I can help! I have a large fenced-in backyard with plenty of space to roam and play. I have multiple crates for both large and small dogs, if requested.

“Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and breeds since I was young. Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to help with walking, feeding, playtime, and keeping pets safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure every dog feels cared for while their owners are away. About: I have 6+ years in experience with dogs/cats. I have watched puppies up to elderly dogs that need some more care. Here to be your best friend’s, best friend while you’re away. I am a 24 year old full time college student. I currently living on my own. My schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to work early mornings/ late nights. I have always had a passion for taking care of people and animals. My partner is a veterinarian technician and since being with them, my love for animals has only grown deeper. My dream one day is to have a shelter or a safe haven for dogs/ cats who don’t have homes yet. I have experience with special schedules for feeding or sleeping. I also am very familiar with meditation schedules and certain care needs. Anything the owner needs to the dog/cat, I would love to do. Walks and playtime as well, I know getting energy out can be a very important thing!

About: I have 3 large dogs in my household, all of very different personalities. On top of that, friends and family have also relied on me to take care of their pets while they are away as well. Recently, I have taken interest in animal rescue, and have helped rescue and send an injured mallard to the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. I am currently a student at west aurora highschool, and I am a member of the national honor society. I have a fenced in yard, and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I also have three cats. I can easily create your dog if needed. I’m fully capable of giving any medication required. When I’m watching your fur baby, I will be available the entire time. Right there, with them.

I worked as a dog handler in a daycare for one year, and am getting my bachelor’s degree in animal science. I am very passionate about animals and love learning new things about them. About: I’ve worked in animal care for years now and have taken care of my own pets for years before that. I have experience with a huge variety of sizes and breeds! I’m well versed in animal behavior and temperaments. I’ve worked with puppies all the way up to senior pets who may need a little extra care or attention. I have my own pets as well and have a deep understanding how much they can mean to us. I’m currently working on my certificate for dog grooming! I have yet to start school but this is a dream I’ve had for a while now. At the moment, I’m almost completely open for sitting. I think enrichment is very important for pets. For dogs, getting outside is a must. Many breeds require a lot of stimulation throughout the day in order to stay healthy in mind and body alike. For cats, some are independent players and toys are a must. Others may like to play with a person and that’s an activity that’s very important for them. I personally feed my animals once in the morning, once at night. My dog typically gets at least one walk a day and I make sure to take him out 2-3 times a day for potty breaks. Or even more if he lets me know he has to go. My one cat is an independent player so I leave her toys in her favorite places.

About: Hi, my name is Erin, and I have been around dogs since the day I was born. I have dog sat many different breeds for my neighbors and family friends. I worked at a dog groomer's as a bather and learned so much about taking care of dogs. The most important lesson I learned during that experience is that patience and kindness are key when interacting with a new dog. Having these two skills is especially important for taking care of senior dogs and nervous dogs. I also learned that a dog experiences the world through their nose. With that knowledge, I always make sure to include sniffing time on walks. Taking different paths and experiencing new smells keeps their mind active and makes the walk 10 times better. I use all of my knowledge to make sure that each walk is a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to meet your pup! For the next few months, I will be on summer break. I only work on the weekends and have always wanted to give Rover a try to meet some new furry friends and help them exercise! I will have plenty of free time during the week, but I am willing to chat to see what works best for you and your dog! I have two dogs whom I love to take on walks in my free time. I always make sure to have two hands on the leash at all times when walking both of my dogs. My older dog (110 lb) is quite reactive and could try to chase something at any moment, so I need to be prepared. My younger dog (70 lb) is very sweet and relaxed on walks and not reactive to other dogs or people; however, he is very skittish around loud noises. If he gets frightened, he may try to run and hide, so keeping two hands on the leash is crucial. I never push my puppies beyond their limit, especially if it is hot outside. Their health and safety are always a concern.
