I have many years of hands-on experience caring for animals – from the tiniest kittens and Chihuahuas to gentle giants like Great Danes and my own Bernese Mountain Dog. Being retired means my schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adjust to fit in potty breaks, walks, feeding times, and cuddle sessions throughout the day. Whether your pet is an early riser who needs a morning walk or a cat that craves playtime in the afternoon, I’ll be there. Weather Note: I do have a medical condition that occasionally requires me to adjust our schedule on rainy days. If the weather is particularly wet, I may need to slightly shift the timing of a walk or visit. Rest assured, your pet will still receive excellent care – I’ll always communicate with you ahead of time about any weather-related schedule changes, and I’ll make sure your furry friend gets all the attention and exercise they need once the skies clear. Thank you for understanding! My pet care philosophy is simple: treat every pet like family. When your pet is under my care, they will get all the affection, playtime, and attention they deserve. I am very attentive to animal behavior cues – I pay close attention to body language and signals to understand how your pet is feeling. Whether your dog needs a break during a walk, or your cat is feeling a bit shy, I’ll notice and respond appropriately. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I also love training dogs and reinforcing good behaviors. If you have specific training or routines you’re working on, I’m happy to maintain them during my visits (for example, practicing sit-stay commands or leash manners). I believe in positive reinforcement, so your pet will get plenty of praise and small treats (if allowed) for good behavior.

About: My name is Sandra and I’m 27 years old. I have one furry family member; Bonbon, an 11 year old poodle mix. I work as a dog daycare attendant, giving me the experience needed to handle and care for dogs of all sizes. My job has taught me how to greet an unfamiliar dog, how to do feedings for various dogs, and how to detect signs of aggression and fear. With that being said, I also was taught how to properly diffuse a situation that can escalate based off the warning signs. It takes patience, hard work, and honesty to care for a dog. It’s difficult to leave your dog in the hands of a stranger, however, I always treat every dog the way I would want my dog to be treated: like family. My work offers me a set schedule, meaning my hours offered/availablility never really change. With that being said; I do work Wednesday-Friday 1-7pm so I will only be able to offer morning services unless informed 2 weeks in advance. I care for your pets the way I would care for my own. Every furry family member is different, and you know them best. I can guarantee my care will reflect the dog’s lifestyle. About: I've taken care of dogs for over a year. Friends and family always come home to a happy pooch! I'll also ensure your fur babys wellbeing by providing appropriate food and water. I am working full time hours but Monday-Fridays after 5pm, Saturdays and sundays open availability will be the best to assist you with your fur baby. I have a fenced yard were your fur baby can run and play. If your fur baby needs assistance with medication you can ensure I will be there to make sure their medication is taken on time.
