“Janae is the best. Reliable and always treats Benji like he’s her own dog. He just loves her. I always feel very comfortable knowing he’s being well taken care of and, more importantly, having fun.”

“Caitlin was wonderful with our two dogs while we were away! Our little dog can be reactive to strangers, but Caitlin brought a very calm presence that allowed for our dogs to feel safe and comfortable. We would recommend Caitlin to anyone and look forward to having her watch our pups in the future 😊”

“This is the third time Kassandra has watched our kitties, as always another 5-star review! Communication and dedication is unmatched. It is so nice to find someone who is so responsible, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond each time. It’s even better now that my girls remember her and are comfortable from day one. Thank you again, Kassandra!!!”

About: I have been dog sitting or walking for the last seven years. Also, I worked for a dog daycare for about 2 years. I'm experienced in giving medication and getting stubborn dogs to eat their food. I'm comfortable walking any size or breed of dog. I will be available through the summer and possibly during the school year. The daily or weekly care depends on how many pets I'm caring for at a time. Between the end of August to the beginning of May, I can sit on the weekends. I do require a meeting with owners and the dogs before I dog sit. I'm comfortable to come to my clients home to care for them. If that is taking for a walk or just spending some time with them. I have two friendly beagles that love anyone and a fenced in back yard. I do have a crate of it is need.
“New kitten in the house necessitated a drop in. Kate did great trying to engage her though Lucy was a bit skiddish. As always, Ollie was happy to see her, as was Callie despite her remaining under the bed.”

“Josh and Susan were fantastic with our girls! From their thoughtful meet & greet to the numerous updates and photos we received while we were away, thank you so, so much for your care and attention. We will absolutely be repeat-customers.”
“Jackie was phenomenal with our dog Piper. We will certainly feel comfortable having her care for her in the future. Great communication, photos, and updates throughout.”

“Jessica was the perfect person to check in on my cat. First, she responded quickly and courteously to all my communications. Second, she took wonderful care of Bruce following all the instructions I left. She completed the checks on time and created nice reports with pictures and descriptions of how Bruce was doing. My mind was at ease and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Jessica was taking care of Bruce…definitely recommend booking her services!”

“Cristina did amazing at taking care of my little Molly on my last minute trip out of town. She was on time always jept the the schedule. She was Super caring and gave Molly all the love she needed until i returned. She was great at giving updates with pics and messages to keep me in the loop on everything and made sure my home was safe when leaving. I would recommend her to everyone. 6 stars doesn't seem like enough. She deserves 11.”

“Mary was wonderful with both our cats. I was a little apprehensive as one of our cats has to have medicine transdermally and runs from us. Mary was able to give it to her on both days. Thank you.”

“Megan was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared about making sure everything was perfect. It's obvious she genuinely loves animals, and they loved her right back. We came home to happy cats and a well-cared-for home, which means the world to us. I wouldn't hesitate to book Megan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and exceptional sitter. Thank you, Megan, for everything!”

We have used Kassandra for three years now, and she never disappoints. She takes great care of our two cats, sends us tons of pictures, and keeps us consistently updated. She goes above and beyond, vacuuming, taking out the trash, and more! We love Kassandra, and you will too!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Geneva. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
