I had to leave my new 3-month old puppy (that I just adopted) for the first time as I had to go to work and I was extremely nervous, but Erika put me at ease immediately. She sent so many pictures and a detailed description of the entire visit. I felt so much better knowing my pup had some stretches, cuddles, & outside time while I was away. Just knowing someone checked in on her meant everything. She even threw in a few recommendations which I very much appreciate as a first-time puppy owner. My pup seemed to be very comfortable with her.”

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

About: I have been dog sitting or walking for the last seven years. Also, I worked for a dog daycare for about 2 years. I'm experienced in giving medication and getting stubborn dogs to eat their food. I'm comfortable walking any size or breed of dog. I will be available through the summer and possibly during the school year. The daily or weekly care depends on how many pets I'm caring for at a time. Between the end of August to the beginning of May, I can sit on the weekends. I do require a meeting with owners and the dogs before I dog sit. I'm comfortable to come to my clients home to care for them. If that is taking for a walk or just spending some time with them. I have two friendly beagles that love anyone and a fenced in back yard. I do have a crate of it is need.

About: I have grown up with small dogs and large dogs. Between Shih Tzus, Aussies, labs, huskies and more, I have been around them all. I currently have four Aussies in our family home that I care for everyday. They are very energetic dogs so I am always playing with them outside or taking them on walks. As well, I have volunteered at many animal shelters and currently volunteer at my college animals shelter. It has given me lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, needs, energy levels, and comfort levels. As well as time spent socializing with the cats! As a college student who mostly babysits, I am very flexible with my weeks. I have a lot of random availability and free time during the day. As well, if I do work, it is usually during the day so I can stay with your animals over night. I am open to any options of care. With fenced in homes, I am always going to let your fur baby run around and play with them. Though, I love to walk and I know they do too. Walks will always happen even if play happens first!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have a genuine passion for them. I have experience in dogs of all sizes from Yorkie mixes to English mastiffs. Most of my experience is with older dogs but willing to work with puppies. I love taking the time to get to know each dog and their personalities. I am a teacher on summer break so my schedule is pretty flexible this time of year! Most of my availability is during the day for walking but can be available at night if needed. I am comfortable putting dogs in and out of crates and administering medication if needed. Not afraid to clean up messes when needed. Comfortable walking dogs. I have my own car so I can drive if needed at any time.

About: I have been pet sitting for several years ever since I was around the age of 13. Additionally, I work at Anderson Humane in South Elgin as a kennel tech and have been working there since August! I have worked with many different animals as a Kennel Tech, I also have experience with administering medicine and I am Fear Free certified. My animal experience is very important to me as I plan on majoring in animal science on the pre-vet track this upcoming fall when I head off to college! :) I work part time but I have plenty of time to care for your pets otherwise. My availability is open most of the time so just let me know when I’m needed and I should be able to accommodate! I look forward to meeting your pets! I am experienced in ensuring your animal stays comfortable and happy even if they may get nervous meeting someone new for example... I have lots of experience working with shy and reactive dogs and am comfortable with all temperaments because I can handle them well! “Jessica and Luis were amazing with our 2 Australian Shepherds! They did numerous drops in while we were on vacation and handled walking, play time, snuggles and meal times. We were given a detailed pet intake form to fill out so they could learn about our dogs and their routines and any house rules. They were very friendly and handled all our requests. We were happy our dogs got to stay home and keep up with their routine and Jessica and Luis sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. They gave us peace of mind and we would absolutely use them again.”

About: Hi all, my name is Brenna and I have been caring for dogs for essentially my whole life! I have been house sitting, dog walking, and doing drop in visits for years and I hope to continue that over the summer. I enjoy dogs because they can only silently judge you, they will always accept you, and they never fail to make you feel loved. It is for these reasons, and so many more, that I want to make sure they feel the love back! Growing up I have always had a big dog in my home and I’ve cared for them through their old age, so I have experience with puppies, teens and senior dogs 🥰 I have taken care of one dog at a time up to three, big, dogs at a time, and I enjoy both situations equally. I am a teacher so I have a lot of free time during the week this summer and I would love to fill that up with some furry-friends! I am a teacher who is currently out for the summer and looking for ways to fill my day and make extra cash doing something else I love!
