Our experience was amazing! She took such great care of our dogs and kept us updated the entire time with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

Caroline was great about checking in and watching my cat. I heard from her each visit and all instructions were followed. She was even nice enough to carry in my Amazon package for me.

I am extremely upset after reviewing the videos from the five days you stayed with our 3- and 4-pound Maltese, Brinly and Baylin. Two major issues stand out: the dogs were frequently left outside alone and unsupervised, and their physical condition upon our return was extremely concerning. I’ve already sent you photos showing the severe matting on Brinly’s ears and body and my initial attempt to remove some of the knots. Her torso may need to be shaved down, and the remaining fur — especially her ears — will have to be thinned out significantly. This is especially upsetting with winter approaching, as she will now be very cold. In all the videos, I saw only one attempt at grooming, where you placed Baylin on the counter (after I had told you multiple times that she does not know how to stay there) and then left her unattended while you walked into the living room. There were also numerous moments where you were sitting on a couch or chair while the dogs sat alone on another, with only a handful of videos showing them near you. One particularly disturbing moment was when they tried to get onto your lap and you swiped them away. These are extremely affectionate dogs, and they were clearly ignored and emotionally neglected. I also saw footage indicating you didn’t get out of bed until 2 PM on one day, and most other days not until 10:30–11 AM. Before our trip, I had you over three separate times and paid you for those visits to ensure you fully understood their care routine. I repeatedly emphasized how important daily brushing and grooming were. I even had you physically run your fingers through their fur to feel for knots so you could remove them before they turned into painful mats. Despite that, it’s clear this was not done. I also made it clear that they must never be outside unsupervised. Yet I saw several videos of you placing them on the other side of their fence — in an area they are not allowed to be — and then walking away while they looked at you scared & in confusion. Leaving two tiny dogs alone outside on our 2-acre property, where coyotes openly roam, is something I stressed repeatedly as a serious safety concern. Although I won’t request a full refund since you were physically in the house during the stay, there was very little adherence to the detailed printed and taped to the cabinets and verbal instructions I provided three separate visits. I never imagined I would have to explicitly ask a sitter to hold, pet, or snuggle them — especially someone who earns money caring for animals — but even that basic level of attention was largely absent. Given the extreme matting, the lack of grooming, the unsupervised time outside, and the overall disregard for their comfort and safety, I believe a partial refund for the five days is more than reasonable. I have been in contact with Rover, and they informed me they are looking into this and that any refund or partial refund must come through you, as you are an independent contractor. However, since you have blocked me on every method of communication — including Rover messaging — I am left with no choice but to document this experience here. This entire experience has left me extremely shaken. I’m now genuinely scared to trust anyone to care for Brinly and Baylin, and I don’t know when I’ll feel comfortable leaving them at home again. The thought of taking another vacation and wondering whether they’re truly safe is heartbreaking. No pet parent should come home to this.

Caroline was great looking after our kitties while we were on vacation. We have a diabetic cat and she learned to give him his insulin. Very appreciative of her willingness to do that so we didn't have to worry about him! Thank you, Caroline!
