About: I have taken care of dogs for over 30 years and treat them as family. I take in puppies and senior dogs and have had dogs of my own for many years. I lost my dog but love taking care of others. I am at home and devote all my time and energy to dogs. I do not work and am here 24/7 for them. I will care for them like my own. Our two boys are now off at college, and our home has gotten a little quieter—especially after we lost our dog last fall. While we’re planning to adopt again in the future, we’d love to fill that space by caring for other dogs in the meantime. About: I grew up with my family’s various rescue cats and dogs, so I’ve always been an animal lover. Since childhood, I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I’ve mainly looked after cats and dogs, but I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and a couple of different types of lizards. I have some experience with training my family’s pets, and lots of experience with giving love to animals of all kinds! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.
