“Kathryn did drop-in visits for my cat for a week, and she was wonderful! She’s very responsive to messages/questions before and during the visit. My cat is not always interested in new people, but at our meet-and-greet, he clearly liked her and she was really great with him. She definitely loves animals and definitely “gets” and enjoys cats. For every visit, she sent a nice message about how he was doing/behaving, and his food intake and activities while she visited. She even figured out his food likes and dislikes very quickly! I had left a window open and she let me know she closed it because it was raining, which I appreciated. And for each visit she took great photos of him, which I really enjoyed—l miss him a lot when I’m gone and it was good to see him interacting with her, playing, etc. When I came back, he was happy, healthy, and his usual self. I’m so happy I found her and highly recommend her—she will take great care of any pet!”

About: I have worked for two zoos, 2 emergency clinics and hospitals that focused on cat, dog and exotics from rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, geckos, tarantulas, ferrets, beardies, chinchillas, fennecs, prairie dogs, birds, axolotls, ect. I have training in senior cat and dog care and animal behavior training as well as vaccine and injection experience. I graduated from Joliet Junior College as a Veterinary Technician and I have petsat many dogs, cats, herps and small mammals. I'm strict with lists and rules and I love playing and giving treats. All animals are my friends including your tarantula! I love working with animals and I love working with pet parents. I have a large reference sheet with people who swear by me and know that their furry (or scalie) family member is in caring, professional, loving hands. If you're looking for a trusted, well rounded, experienced vet tech, then I'm your sitter!! If you don't like leaving your baby home alone, ask me about boarding!! I board ***most*** exotics and cats! (I don't board dogs, birds, aquatics, or larger exotics, please ask me for details) I will talk to you first to make sure my schedule fits into your animals' needs. If my schedule does not match your pets' needs, then I will kindly decline your offer as your pets' needs come before me. I want to see you matched with the best sitter you can find. I will sit for your furry (or scalie) baby at your own home, so your rules are law! If your doggy needs to be crated, I will do that! If your kitty needs insulin shots, I have experience in that! Does your baby need 500 mLs of fluid? You're in the right hands! Does your flowers need to be watered? Tell me what a hydrangea looks like and I will water it!!

About: I started taking care and training dogs when I was 13. My parents rescued my dog Luna when I was 14 and I took care of her every day and trained her, she even understands Spanish! She is the sweetest dog ever but I currently don’t live with her anymore. I also enjoy taking care of kids and I am very patient and confident in my ability to handle anything. I love to teach and I am very passionate about what I do. Once I start something I work hard to become better everyday. I am currently on summer break so I have plenty of free time. I am fully committed to working Monday-Saturday mostly from 8am-9pm. My current schedule is simple. I go to the gym from 9-11:30am and pretty much free the rest of the day. I have a part time job and I work every other week Sat-Sun from 4-10. I have a really flexible schedule so feel free to ask any questions! I would usually take my dog out for her first walk at 8 in the morning. I would take her out for at least 15min and repeat this every 3/4 hours. After her first walk I fed her breakfast, sometimes I’d crack an egg on top or drizzle honey which is great for dogs, and I fed her twice a day. If it was muddy outside I would clean her paws and fur after. I would play with her and teach her new tricks every now and then. If her breath was bad I would brush her teeth at night. I loved cuddling and sleeping with her and I would do everything to make sure she was happy.

About: I have a dog that is 6 and have helped raise a litter of 9 Australian shepherds! I also use to work as a delivery driver so im use to driving around. I am in school and work part time so I tend to be free during the week. I like staying in so I am also available in the weekends! I wake up around 8 to feed a special diet to my dog, she is currently in a diet. Then I walk her before I get ready for the day. I tend to walk her at least 2 times a day but I have a pretty lazy dog. If it’s sunny outside she likes to sunbathe in the back or front yard and doesn’t like walking. I do like getting 10k steps in a day so I tend to just steal my friends dogs and walk around with them.
