Animal and Pet Experience: I currently volunteer weekly at a cat shelter where I interact with and take care of a wide range of cats. I absolutely adore working there and have always been an animal lover! I've owned and taken care of a variety of pets throughout my life, including cats, dogs, gerbils, and at one point in my adolescence, a toad. I love and am capable of taking care of a wide range of animals. All of the cats I grew up with had feline leukemia, leading them to require extra care and medication. I am known for being very gentle and patient, and will give your beloved pet lots of attention, care, and cuddles. :) Flexibility/Location/Hours: I am very flexible in terms of pricing, hours, location, and last-minute bookings or cancellations. I know how chaotic life can be and how valuable flexibility is, especially when it comes to the care of our pets. I am willing to negotiate, make adjustments as needed, and will prioritize the best and most stress-free experience for you and your pets. General Qualities: I am a very fast learner, rule-follower, and problem-solver, and will not hesitate to communicate or ask questions if I have them. I want nothing but the best possible experience for you, the owner, and your beloved pets, as I know how much value they bring to a household. I do not offer pet sitting at my home, but I am very flexible in terms of location and hours to do what is best for your pet at your own home. I can provide additional treats and toys if allowed or preferred, and will prioritize the safety and care of your pet. I will follow the rules and schedule that are provided and will update you with any questions, concerns, or updates. My main priority is providing safe, stress-free, reliable care that is personalized for your household and pet to your standards and expectations.

My name is Harper and I'm a 7 year old retriever mix who was rescued when I was just 3 months old. I am usually pretty leery around new human friends and it takes me awhile to warm up to them. When I first met Sierra, she must have been able to tell right away because she just sat down on the floor and let me approach her at my own speed and comfort level. She didn't even try to touch me before I was ready. Now, she's one of my favorite humans! Every time I see her, my 'helicopter tail' lets her know how happy I am that she has come to spoil me! We have gone on walks and played fetch. She's seen my zoomies! She's even fed me and given me my medicine and a treat or two. Sadly, she doesn't spend all of her time at my house! She often goes to the cat rescue to play with some friends there. That's ok, I'm happy to share her! She is really gentle and loves ALL the animals! It's always a great day when Sierra comes to play with me!
Sierra Morris has a deep love for animals. She has cared for three household cats and other pets for family and friends. She has a gentle approach, empathetic, caring nature, and genuine nurturing spirit. She will even rescue insects from our home and release them outside instead of letting them be injured. Animals also seem to love Sierra, and many pets will give her more time and affection than they give to other people! Her kindness towards animals is sincere, and she will always do her best to support and care for pets and other creatures!

Schedule
I am currently in the market for an animal-related job, and I am waiting to hear back from several dog kennels and pet stores. In the meantime, Rover is my priority for income and further animal experience. On Monday nights, from 6-8 pm, I typically have a prior commitment, but it can easily be adjusted or joined virtually. For now, animal care and pet-sitting are my number one priority.
