About: I worked at a dog daycare/boarding place at the Wag Hotels Schiller Park location for 2 1/2 years: feeding, cleaning their rooms, giving medications and more! I have great experience with both cats and all types of dogs and have always enjoyed my time spent with the animals! :) I also have my own animals at home that I take care of— both a dog and a cat. I am taking classes during the week and my schedule will be more packed during the weekdays, so weekends would be the best for me to work with! Unfortunately I cannot house pets during the day or overnight as I am in school, but I am available for drop in visits, dog-walking, and possibly future pet sitting opportunities!

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I’ve been around and caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up with pets and continuing to have them today has given me a lot of hands-on experience understanding their needs, routines, and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, including feeding, providing fresh water, giving treats, walks and exercise, playtime, litter box and potty breaks, and keeping their spaces clean and comfortable. I’m also comfortable giving pets plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I know some pets need lots of activity and play, while others are happier with a quiet environment, cuddles, and someone nearby. I’m attentive to changes in their behavior and routine and take their individual needs seriously. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals. When I care for someone’s pet, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I treat every pet as an individual and care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would give my own. I’m a part-time nanny with a flexible schedule, so I’m looking to fill my available time by caring for pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and companionship. I love animals and enjoy giving them the attention and care they deserve! Although I am unable to watch pets in my home I would be happy to come to you. If you have a safe yard to play in we could hang out there and throw the ball around or just bask in the sun with lots of pets and belly rubs. About: I had my first dog at just 6 years old and my love for animals had been growing ever since😊I currently have a dog of my own who is 5 years old! I’ve had her since she was a puppy (day she was born lol!) due to an accidental litter from my dog(who unfortunately passed away and is her mother) and my moms dog! So I am very good with puppy training as well😊I am good with administering medicine as needed for your fur baby if that is something you need! I work 3 night time 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday so I am free during the week! I am in nursing school as well but as of now my classes are online! I can keep your fur baby company and play with them. I’m very good with animals of all kinds and making them comfortable around me! I offer companionship and treats lol! I love long walks for dogs so they will get plenty of potty breaks and lots of outside time!

“I have two cats. One is a complete sweetie except he is now almost 17 and is on multiple medications. In discussion with the vet before my trip, the vet had "ideal" and "essential" medicine dispersal. In our meeting to go over things, it was clear she understood his medical issues, the various medicines and their priority and importance. Kimberly was diligent in administering the medicine most essential and getting at least one daily dose of the others, despite the cat hiding from her on several visits. (He is easy for me but I am told by prior sitters he fights the pills). What pleased me was that she kept him in good health without stressing him out to the point where he acted out like he did with previous sitter determined to administer pills. She knew how to balance stress and medicine. If you have a cat with health issues, I highly recommend Kimberly. Since my other cat is a high strung rescue who hides from everything, Kimberly did not interact with her directly but she reassured me of signs of eating, litter activity to show she hadn't escaped when she hadn't showed after 5 days. (that is very typical of this cat, even for longer visits so no reflection on Kimberly).”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog, a senior Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, for the past 15 years. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends over the past 5 years, giving me experience with small, medium and large sized dogs. “I've only ever had family members check in on my best cat buddy, Vinny, and I was apprehensive hiring a sitter for my 4 day vacation. I have to say Saskia was amazing and was able to get my shy cat to warm up to her within just a day or two. Saskia sent me plenty of pictures and her report card on her visits were thorough and put my mind at ease. She was on time at every single visit (and for our pre-interview), and she was very responsive and communicative, which I love. About: I live near a walking trail for those that like a nice stroll, or for those that don’t I also have a few comfy couches to relax on. As a foster pet parent, I’m familiar with providing medications if needed. I typically work from home and am able to care for your pet while you’re away. My cats are friendly and use to foster cats so they’ll either play with your cat our leave them be. No matter what, your cat will not be alone. My home has multiple floors with large litter boxes on each floor, there is plenty of space and lots to explore. We have different dietary needs for our cats so I can definitely accommodate any specific dietary needs.
