About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.

About: Why should I be your sitter?? Great question! I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life. I have sitter experience for family, friends and neighbors spanning over 20 plus years. I aim to be very responsive and typically get back to interested clients in under 10 mins. I will provide multiple pictures and videos of any visit! I genuinely love spending time with animals and feel like it is not work to give pets a better life and great care. I specialize in: 1. Senior pets! I love our older furry friends and have many years of experience with medications, dietary needs and comfort for older dogs and cats. 2. Anxious pets! Animals that have separation anxiety, need boundaries when on walks ie. No petting, or triggers like thunderstorms. I have owned pets that have all of the above and sit for them as well. 3. Puppies and kittens! I know many are working on training plans that need a strict adherence. I am happy to work with goals you have for your young learners :) I believe that pets are members of our family and want to give every animal the support they need! I can be available for drop ins or any variety of sitting needs! I have experience with crate training and medication administration. I have watched animals with a variety of behavioral support as well. I am open to meeting your pet where they are at.

About: I’ve always grown up with animals and had to be very responsible at a young age for crate schedules, feeding times, play times. Etc. My dog back in my hometown was my pride and joy but since I moved I also do miss that bond every now and then w a furry companion. Part time server / bartender and just needed some extra work but also something that I enjoy doing. Who doesn’t love spending time w fur babies?!? I do have a smaller apartment so smaller animals preferred when it comes to boarding within my own home. Very respectful for other people’s homes and will do whatever is necessary to make sure the home and animals are both taken care of.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have over 9 years of hands-on experience. I currently have a 3-year-old dog who I’ve raised since she was just 2 months old, and before that, I was the primary caretaker for my childhood dog for more than 8 years. I’m comfortable with daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime, crate care, and building trust with pets of all ages. I’ve also provided pet sitting for others, including multi-day stays (up to 5 days in a row), so I understand how important communication, consistency, and reliability are when someone is away. Your pet will always get patient, loving, and attentive care with me — just like my own. I'm currently working remotely so I have a very flexible schedule to do drop-ins and walks. I'm available mornings and afternoons Tuesday through Friday. I'm your go to person when you are in the office. I have a fenced yard and a 2-year-old dog that loves other dogs and people. I'm currently not caring for other dogs in my home.

I purchased my home with my dogs in mind as I've got a fenced yard and I wanted to make sure that they had plenty of room to run around. Your dog will be treated like family while they're staying with me. I have three dogs of my own that range in age from 2 to 12, so no matter what speed your dog likes to go we've got something for them. For anyone little who needs it I've got stairs to get up on furniture. My pup, Lego, LOVES to play and will welcome any playmates with open paws. We've got tons of toys and chews around the house and lots of beds and couches to lounge on if that's what they're into. Other than occasional errands I may need to run, I am home full-time with the dogs. Due to this, the dogs don't have a lot of opportunities to get bored…in fact I have many owners texting me after telling me how tired their dog was after staying here! I try to let the dogs be outside and play to their heart’s content (weather permitting, of course). I started Rover as something to do on the side to spend time with dogs, and it has grown to be a full time gig for me and I couldn’t be happier. Being around dogs is truly what brings me joy--it would be my pleasure to take care of your pup while you're away. WHAT KIND OF DOGS DO BEST HERE? My goal is to let the dogs interact and play as much as possible, so well socialized dogs do best at my house. If your dog prefers to be alone or has aggressive/anxiety-based behaviors, then I may not be the sitter for you. Please keep this in mind as you consider me as a potential dog sitter. I am not for every dog and we want to ensure your dog is comfortable in its environment. Please note that I do foster dogs for Chicago Rescue Authority. Foster dogs will never interact with any guest dogs until they have been fully vetted and thoroughly tested to ensure they can safely interact with the pack. About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.

I really enjoy taking care of pets and playing with them! :) I am a summer camp counselor which leaves my nights and weekends free. I wouldn't want to spend my free time doing anything else. About: I love animals so much! I have one cat Patchy that I love dearly and an older cat spotty who passed away two theses ago. I love all other animals so why not help out and get paid for spending time with more babies!:) I have bathed, feed other animals for neighbors and such! I have boarded a dog for 1 weekend as well. I am a current dental assistant part time dance instructor. Just looking for anything to save to go back to school! I’m currently working part time and am looking for good employment so this would really benefit me! I have open availability for the remainder of two weeks! Depends on the client home, but I like having cozy things for animals to bury themselves in. As well as things that smell like owner, treats, etc.
