About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up, from rabbits to parakeets, and with each different size and personality, I find that spending time with any and all animals is something that keeps my heart full. I’m also someone who loves to do community service, and making your day a little more convenient by taking care and playing with your fur babies is something I’m more than happy to be able to do. I’m working part-time at a different job and have a flexible schedule as a community college student. I’m almost always available in the weekday mornings, and from Wed-Fri, I should be available all day! At my other job I work as a swim instructor for children, so I’m trained to keep a close eye on my students and steer them clear any risks or dangers. Your pet’s safety will always be my priority.
About: I have experience caring for multiple German Shepherds, cats, and small dogs, and I’m comfortable administering medication when needed. I also understand the importance of maintaining consistent walk schedules and routines, especially for senior dogs who benefit from structure and attentive care. As a long time pet parent myself, I understand the stress that comes with leaving them in the hands of a stranger. You have my word that your baby will be in good hands while you're away :) Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I already structure much of my day around caring for my own pet. I work full time during the school year, but I have weekends, holidays, and summers off, which gives me a lot of flexibility and availability. Even during the work week, I’m very organized with routines and schedules, especially when it comes to feeding times, walks, medication, and giving pets consistent attention and care. The way I care for pets depends on the service being provided, but my biggest priority is always making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. In my own home, I do not plan to take on more than one pet at a time unless they are siblings or already comfortable coexisting together. I want to make sure every animal receives my full attention and care without feeling overwhelmed. I also have a cat of my own, so I would create separate spaces and maintain safe boundaries to ensure all pets feel secure and stress-free while adjusting to the environment. I’m very mindful of routines, feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise, and creating a calm atmosphere. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m committed to following any routines, rules, or care instructions exactly as requested. I understand how important consistency is for animals, and I want owners to feel confident knowing their pets are being cared for the same way they would care for them themselves.
“Julianna was amazing. He communication was awesome. She took care of Milo and Kitty like they were her own. We highly recommend her and hope she will sit for us again if needed. Thank you so much!”

“Absolutely awesome! Great about communication, very friendly and did everything I asked! Highly recommend. Even worked on training a trick I couldn't get down! I will definitely choose Micheal again when I need some check-ins.”

“Leah was prompt with her check in and check out times and continually sent us pictures from each visit and an update as to what she did. On her initial visit to meet our 2 cats, one of our cats was a little moody that day and wasn't interested in meeting Leah. But by the second day Leah told us that that particular cat was her new "bestie". The cats were well cared for and everything was done that was noted to be done.”

About: My wife and I have always had dogs. As children, we both grew up with small dogs. Since we've been married, we have always had BIG dogs. Six years ago, we had to put our rottweiler, Murphy, down due to illness. We do not want to rush into getting another dog, but we are ready to dog sit for the right dog. My wife and I are teachers, so we have all summer off to dedicate to your dog. We also have a small fenced in yard and live near a forest preserve where we can go for daily walks. Whether its for a few hours or an extended stay, we are ready to meet you and your dogs' needs. And, we only book one family's dog(s) at a time.
About: Whether your dog loves long walks, short strolls, or just some fresh air and attention, I adjust to their needs and pace. I focus on making each walk enjoyable, safe, and stress-free. I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure your dog is well cared for from start to finish. Your pet’s comfort and happiness will always be my priority I’m currently in college and working part-time, but with summer approaching I have more availability for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and helping them stay active and happy. I’m available weekday evenings and nights, as well as all day on weekends. I’m reliable, flexible, and always make sure pets are well cared for and comfortable prioritize safety at all times by following owner instructions carefully, using secure leashes/harnesses, and staying alert during walks or any care that would be provided

“Kymberly is the absolute best!! I know this because I saw how Asta responded to being loved by Kymberly! I really appreciate the attention she paid to my fur baby and I will definitely request her again!”

About: I have hands on experience caring for pets as I have grown up with two dogs of my own. One of my dogs has epilepsy so I understand the importance of monitoring and caring for pets with medical needs. I have also been trusted to take care of friends, family, and neighbors pets. I have developed an understanding of what it takes to keep pets happy and healthy I am a college student so I will only be available over the summer and during breaks. Pet care is something that is incorporated into my daily routine and I have flexibility to plan my day around making sure that every pet is cared for. Your pets safety and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure to keep a close eye on them during walks and keep them in a safe environment. I follow routines clearly to make sure pets receive the correct care and keep them feeling comfortable.
“My cat can be finicky when we travel and doesn't want to eat properly. Not an issue this trip. Thanks to Jackie. She made it a family affair including her daughter in pet care. This is great in my opinion as it teaches responsibility and proper pet care as well as offers new experiences for the pets she's caring for. My kitty is getting old & lazy, but she responded well to their care and is happy and healthy. Thank you! Will reach out in the future as needed.”

“Ada was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our five cats for over a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She checked in with us every day and sent wonderful updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the pictures and updates that our cats were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Ada was reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. Taking care of five cats is no small task, and she handled it wonderfully! I highly recommend Ada to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

Des Plaines dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brianna is a pleasant, friendly young lady. My dogs loved her. She arrived when she said she would, fed the dogs, and let them romp a bit. Just what they needed. I was able to go pick up my college student and round rip home (14 hrs) without worrying about the dogs and without paying for two nights boarding. All in all, a great deal!
Ann is an amazing sitter! She’s cared for my pups on several occasions while I am out of town, each a very positive experience. Very dependable, responsive, and communication was great. I returned home to everything in perfect order and two very happy pups. I would absolutely recommend Ann to friends and continue booking with her in the future.

Stacy has a phenomenal gift with animals! They love her instantly. She is punctual. Follows your care plan for your pet. Is trustworthy in your home and communicates well. Part of her communication, is an incredible ability to photograph animals, which she shares freely with you while you are away. I had never heard of Rover, Stacy was my first contact. I will be using her again and again.

Arielle is a fantastic sitter who I highly recommend to anyone. She was very attentive to my Boxer's needs, checked in often and provided updates consistently. Communication was never an issue and I never worried that my dog was not being taken care of. Thanks Arielle!

Marianna took wonderful care of our dog, Twinkie. She went above and beyond by taking her out for a walk each day and giving her lots of love and attention when she did her check ins. Twinkie was so happy to see her each day. She was polite and professional and sent me lots of pictures. We will definitely be using her again.

Julianna was amazing! She is very communicative and was so understanding of our crazy schedule. She was so sweet to our dogs and provided them cuddles and pets. She even read to them and sent us pictures everyday! She was on time with the visits and was respectful of our home. She made our pups happy and safe, which gave us the peace of mind to have a fun vacation. 10/10!
