About: I have had a dog since I was 5, and have been caring for him since he was a puppy through to adulthood and elderly age. I've also housed and cared for three dogs at once for months at a time, all varying breeds and ages and sizes. Additionally, I worked in animal husbandry in a professional setting at my university. I’m currently working part-time, and have the most availability on weekdays! On Monday through Friday, I’m typically free from noon to nighttime. I work full time and am most active with my own dog in the morning before I start work around 9:30am and then, again, when I get done with work around 6pm. While working from home allows for plenty of excuses to get outside and opportunities for play breaks. Weekends are a balance of snuggling with my dog while bingeing on a good show and enjoying all the dog friendly outdoor spaces the area has to offer us. We can adjust our activity levels, as needed, in order to settle into a routine thats right for your pets. Dogs are always on leash with me on walks unless we’re at an off leash dog park, which would require your permission. I am a pets-are-family kind of gal, so your pets will be treated as such while they’re in my care. I live in a dog-friendly apartment complex with a fenced in courtyard that provides great opportunities for sniffs, playtime, and outdoor lounging. I know it’s hard to be away from your fur baby, and I’m happy to send plenty of photo pupdates if you’d like.
