About: I have had a dog since I was 5, and have been caring for him since he was a puppy through to adulthood and elderly age. I've also housed and cared for three dogs at once for months at a time, all varying breeds and ages and sizes. Additionally, I worked in animal husbandry in a professional setting at my university. I’m currently working part-time, and have the most availability on weekdays! I’m free all day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On Wednesdays I’m typically free in the afternoon and evening. I love being outdoors whenever possible, and am more than happy to take your dog on long walks! I’m a very detailed person who always gets the job done, and your pet’s safety is my utmost priority. I can feed, play with, take outside, clean up accidents, or just keep your pet company for hours at a time.
“Thea was so meticulous and empathetic to my cat’s needs during my time away. She also provided adorable photos, videos and notes. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great catsitter or dogsitter!”

About: I've watched dogs around my neighborhood, for family members, and grew up with a dog since the age of 9. I have care experience with elderly dogs and dogs who need to take pills and have insulin administered. I work 2 days a week from home and work only 2 miles from home when I'm in the office. Therefore, I'd have ample time to spend with your dogs and also am able to get home quickly for them, as well! I am happy to have a crate or a free roam dog in my apartment - I love to cuddle up with pups! I am also happy to do whatever makes your dog most comfortable.
About: 🐾 I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a young child, and it’s been a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve looked after pups of all sizes - from a tiny 8 lb mini dachshund to a brawny 100 lb pitbull mix. My experience includes everything from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, each with their own needs and personalities. I currently live with two spayed female dogs who are well-socialized and have peacefully cohabitated with several foster dogs since last year. I regularly volunteer with Border Tails Rescue, providing a safe, nurturing home for dogs in transition. Through fostering, I’ve gained deep experience with behavior observation, gentle training, and helping anxious or shy dogs feel secure. I’ve managed feeding routines, administered medications, and supported dogs through recovery and adjustment periods. I’m especially mindful of canine body language and group dynamics, and I only accept dogs who are friendly with others to maintain a safe, peaceful environment. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do... it’s something I truly love. I treat every pup with patience, respect, and the kind of attention I’d want for my own. 🐶 When dog sitting, I am home most of day so your pup will have lots of attention. On occasions I do leave the house, your pup will be crated or separated from my dogs in a segregated area for their safety. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I share my home with two friendly, playful dogs - Miley, a 50 lb pit mix, and a 75 lb American Bully. They are well-socialized and enjoy respectful canine company. My securely fenced yard provides space for supervised outdoor play, and my middle school children, who are also well-versed in watching and caring for dogs, help ensure everyone feels safe and supported. I only accept pups who are crate/house trained, non-reactive, and dog-friendly to maintain a positive, secure environment for all.
About: 🐾 I’m not your average pet sitter—I’m your pet’s new BFF! With experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle giants like St. Bernards, I understand every pet has their own unique personality and needs. I provide personalized care, whether your pup needs fun walks, extra attention, a consistent routine, or senior care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. 🐶💕 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—not just a job. I make sure pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for through consistent attention, playtime, walks, and affection. I offer flexible weekday and weekend availability from 7 AM–6 PM for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’ll tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs while keeping their routine happy and consistent. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and trusting environment where pets feel happy and cared for. I respect each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences while providing the attention, playtime, and comfort they’re used to. I also prioritize safety by keeping their environment secure and free of hazards. Communication is important, so I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priorities!

About: Currently, I have two cats. I've had a dog, but before that, I primarily had birds (parakeets), lizards (bearded dragons) and frogs (mostly bull frogs). I cat-sit on occassion for a friend and sibling. I also raise Monarch caterpillars in the summer and release the adults. I work full time outside the home but am home in the summer (teacher). I am available weekends and weekday evenings, with sufficient notice of weekday needs. I am usually available Friday evening through Sunday evening. I am looking to do drop-in pet care and dog boarding. I could board a small pet that resides in an enclosure in my home or a dog (or two dogs from the same household). Both my cats are comfortable with dogs but tend to keep to themselves. I have 2 children and 2 cats at home. It’s a one floor house. The yard is nice and big. I don’t have a fence but I do have a longer leash so the dogs can run a bit.

Michelle took exceptional care of my two pitbulls during my three‑week trip. From the very first drop‑in, her professionalism, calm energy, and genuine love for animals were obvious. My dogs absolutely adored her — their body language, their excitement, and their relaxed behavior told me everything I needed to know. She followed every instruction perfectly, sent thoughtful updates, and treated my pups as if they were her own. Knowing they were in such capable and caring hands gave me real peace of mind while I was away.I’m truly grateful for Michelle’s kindness and reliability. She is a gem, and I would trust her with my dogs anytime!

Cathy did an EXCEPTIONAL job caring for our fur baby!! He has a lot of energy and sass lol and she embraced it and was great with him! She was attentive, on time, thorough in her updates to me as I was a very anxious mama! I highly recommend her and will definitely work with her again in the future!

Luciana was fantastic! She came by on short notice to get acquainted with my two cats and my home before I had to leave unexpectedly for an emergency trip. Throughout my time away, she kept me updated on how my pets were doing and regularly sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Overall, I’m extremely happy with her care and professionalism, and I highly recommend her services.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without Emily! I needed her last minute and she was available to care for my fur son. Thanks to her I can enjoy time with my friends knowing he is well taken care of and loved. He always looks forward to seeing her outside of his regular schedule. She’s absolutely the best.

Sarah was wonderful with all of my pets. She had her hands full and handled it like a Champ! I was very comfortable with Sarah and would recommend her highly! She is amazing and I couldn’t be more appreciative! She gets 100 stars in my book! Very atttentive and loving! Thank you for taking care of all 6 of the animals while we were gone! Well worth it!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
