“For the first time in 12 years, I decided that taking my female Maltese, Gemini, on vacation with me was going to be too difficult. My family planned and invited me to an international 13 day trip with many planned stops and activities was too much to handle (I use a walker and I'm 83) so I hired Tina to watch my dog and home. Managing a dog that has not separated from its owner in 12 plus years is challenging. Tina did a great job of dealing with the separation anxiety while simultaneously building a relationship with her. Within days, Tina had won Gemini over and that allowed me to completely enjoy and unforgettable vacation. I am so grateful. Tina also watched my home and did a great job with that. Tina is responsible, attentive to even the smallest details and is 100% committed to take care of her customers. I will hire her again.”

“Thea & her sweet boy Osiris are the best! She is very empathetic, understanding, patient and kind! I highly recommend her to anyone! Her boy Osiris is the sweetest dog to my 2 boys! Her home has ample space for your dogs to enjoy and play! Hands down she took direction well for both Mav & Rooster but went above and beyond care for them! Thank you Thea!!!”

“Dogs loved Nicole and she did great with them! The dogs can be a handful with high energy, but Nicole matched their needs and spent a lot of time outside playing. We are grateful to have Nicole as a sitter and we will have her back soon!”

“Madison took on the challenge of my very difficult Beagle and did great! She was very responsive and sent so many great updates about my dogs. I know my dogs were well cared for while we were away. Highly recommend her and would use her again when needed.”

“Michael was fantastic! We have 2 large dogs, one has pretty bad anxiety, he handled him so well! He communicated, sent pictures, and really cared about taking care of our dogs! I would recommend him to anyone. He did some training with our dogs as well which helps with getting energy out, I just really appreciate how caring he was with our dogs!”

“Monica was great! She stayed with Billie over the weekend and took wonderful care of her. She provided plenty of messages and photos so we could see how much fun Billie was having. We felt very comfortable having Monica there.”

“Krissy took great care of our fur babies while we were away. She also left our home in spotless condition. We are lucky to have found her and look forward to work with her again soon!!”

“Jennifer stayed in my home and took care of my Shar-pei Chuffy. This is the first time I've used a service to take care of my dog. She was totally reliable and kept me updated with texts and photos. She won over my standoffish boy and he fell completely in love with her. I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: I have cared for animals ever since I can remember. I am a huge animal lover so I had/have a lot of different pets: Cats, dogs, a ferret, hamsters, lizards, and fish! I am going into junior year for college as a double major in Biology and Animal Ecology. I was involved in an animal training class for two semester where I helped/observed dog training. I was a Kennel Attendant for 3 months at an Animal Hospital, have interned there for 2 Summers, and am working as a veterinary assistant this Summer! I am working part time as a Veterinary Assistant Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I am volunteering at a Parrot pet store in the mornings on Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m available after 12 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays along with anytime on most Saturdays and Sundays! I am available for feeding, walking, and giving your pet lots of attention (if they seem ok with it)! And I will make sure to fulfill all of your pets needs.
About: I started off taking care of dogs at a young age. My grandma owns a large labrador and a small yorkie. I’ve had many experiences dog-sitting and walking. I have my own golden doodle that I love to death. I am able to go on walks every weekday. Monday through Friday i’m available from 4-7 PM. My hours will become more flexible during summer break. I’m used to handling big dogs as well as small dogs. I know how to keep a dog calm and under control during a walk. I’ll always make sure to watch out for cars, bikers, and pedestrians.

Branislava is fantastic! She took such great care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. Nova got lots of walks, snuggles, and play time, and we got so many great pictures and updates. And our house was even cleaner than when we left! Thank you Branislava!

Ana was amazing with our dog while we were away for the weekend. She had scheduled a meet and greet, which made me comfortable leaving my dog with her. Ana was very responsive throughout her stay and sent many photos. The house was also spotless when we came back. I would definitely book with her again!

Michael was great sitting our 3 dogs in our home! We have small, medium, and large and personalities to match, and Michael managed them all well. He sent pictures and videos daily, which kept our minds at ease while we were away. Our home was left as we found it. We are pleased overall and grateful for Michael's services!

Thea was absolutely incredible while taking care of my dog, Leo, for two weeks while I was away. She went far above and beyond anything I expected from a pet sitter. From day one, I received multiple updates throughout the day along with tons of pictures and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing Leo was happy, safe, and genuinely enjoying himself. Honestly, I have never seen Leo happier. It was clear he absolutely loved spending time with Thea. She took him on regular walks that he thoroughly enjoyed, gave him constant attention and affection, and treated him like he was her own dog. The level of care, patience, and love she showed was truly exceptional. What impressed me even more was how thoughtful and professional she was beyond just pet care. She organized and cleaned my home and even did laundry — things she absolutely did not need to do but did anyway simply because she cares and takes pride in what she does. Coming home to a happy dog and a spotless home was honestly amazing. Thea is easily the best pet sitter in the area and one of the most professional, reliable, and caring people I’ve worked with. She made being away from Leo completely stress-free, which is priceless for any pet owner. I would hire her again in a heartbeat for all of my future vacations and cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are looking for someone who will genuinely care for your pet as if it were their own, Thea is the perfect choice.

Abby was more incredible than we ever could’ve imagined! She took such good care of our sweet Kobe— who can be quite stubborn at times. She was communicative and sent updates (with both pictures and videos :)) throughout the entire weekend! We are so thankful to have found her and cannot recommend her enough.

Erica is great and we highly recommend her. She has sat with our two pups twice now and we couldn't be happier. She communicates well and makes our travel much easier knowing the guys are in good hands. In fact this last trip she made arrangements for a couple extra days so we didn't need to find a second sitter. Thanks Erica!!!
Monica took wonderful care of our fur babies and our home while we were away for a week! We have a puppy and senior dog and Monica was great with both! She even worked on some training with our pup! She provided great communication and sent lots of pictures to reassure us our girls were doing well while we were away. If you are looking for someone you can trust to take good care of your fur babies (and your home) while you’re traveling, I highly recommend Monica. We will definitely be requesting her again in the future!

This is was our first time booking a house/dog sitter through Rover. Our experience with Tina was perfect. she took very good care of Sammy, followed every instruction, sent periodic updates, and overall went above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about Tina - she clearly enjoys dogs and wants the best for them. Thank you, Tina!

Gaby is amazing!! She was a last minute booking for us and she was so accommodating! Gus loves her!! She stayed at our house and left it nicely and clean! She is absolutely amazing and we definitely recommend her! She send us pictures every day and was very communicative.
