Hi, I’m Abby! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Pet care is my full-time job, which means I have open availability and can often accommodate a wide range of scheduling needs, including last-minute and same-day bookings. Since my childhood, my family has had five amazing dogs and my parents currently have a rescue Labrador. They’ve been my companions who taught me just how special the bond between human and pet can be. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, sizes, and ages. I’m passionate about providing dependable, compassionate care for pets when you can’t be there. I focus on routine, comfort, and one-on-one attention, with updates and photos after every visit. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets feel safe and cared for. With clear instructions, I’ll ensure your pets get the best care possible. Building long-term trust with both pets and owners is the most rewarding part of what I do; my goal is to create a stress-free experience! Thank you for trusting me with your furry family members (: Important Notes 1. I want to be transparent that I have mild scoliosis and experience occasional back discomfort. It does not prevent me from walking dogs and is generally very manageable. However, for dogs that pull heavily on the leash or are highly reactive, I may not be the best fit. My priority is always the safety and well-being of your pet, so I appreciate you keeping this in mind when requesting services. 2. Availability Scheduling: Due to my husband’s unpredictable work travel, I can confirm bookings starting on the 16th of the prior month (e.g., bookings for February can be confirmed starting January 16th). This helps us align our schedules. If you need to plan further in advance, I completely understand and encourage you to find a sitter who can accommodate your timeline. However, if you already know your dates, feel free to share them, and I’ll set a reminder to check in with you once my schedule is finalized. Sometimes I can confirm a little earlier than a month before, it just depends (client that asks first for the specific dates has priority). 3. House Sitting Details: During overnight stays, your home becomes my home base while I care for your pets. During house sits, I do have other scheduled walks and drop-ins throughout the day, which also may include some evening visits depending on my schedule. I typically group them together, so I may be away from the home for up to about 4-5 hours at a time on and off. I always make sure your pets’ needs are fully met before and after I’m out. If your pet(s) require constant care, I may not be the best fit, and that’s okay—I prioritize their comfort and well-being. 4. Photos and Updates: I love sending lots of pictures and updates to keep you in the loop while you’re away. If I ever send more than you’d prefer, just let me know, I can sometimes get a little carried away and will not be offended.
