“Anna took great care of my dog, Oso. She sent constant updates and pictures, took him for several long walks and took great care of our home. I highly recommend Anna to take care of your pets!”

“Karina is truly the best! She provided immaculate care for our senior dog. I have no doubt that Lilly felt safe and loved with Karina while we traveled. Karina provides multiple updates and pictures throughout her stay. She is also extremely responsive to any messages or questions. We will absolutely be booking with Karina again to watch our senior gal!”

“Makayla was SO great! She recently completed a house sitting visit. She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures (which we loved), and took great care of not only our dog Kygo, but our home as well. You’d never even know she stayed here for a few days - that’s how well she cleaned up. Our dog can sometimes be unsure of new people coming into the house but Makayla was patient with him and they are now good buddies :) We plan to book more drop-ins, walks, and overnights with her. I recommend you book her ASAP, you will not regret it. Having peace of mind about our dog is too priority when we travel and Makayla exceeded all expectations. 5/5”

“Gabrielle stayed over night for a week with our dog Theo and did a great job keeping us updated and letting us know if any questions came up. Would highly recommend!”

“Erica was great! Our girl went in to heat the day before we were supposed to leave. Erica not only took on the challenge confidently but calmed our nerves with consistent updates of the extra care she provided.”

“Sarah took care of our cat for four days at our house while we were away. He has to be given medication at certain times during the day and also loves human attention. Sarah was caring and responsible, spent time hanging out with him, and made sure he got his meals and medicine at the right times. She also checked in with us, asked good questions, and responded quickly when we checked in with her. We hope to hire Sarah again, and highly recommend her for petsitting and housesitting.”

About: Growing up, I had a couple dogs. Along with family and friends always having dogs around, I have always taken care of dogs. I love to walk them, bathe them, and play! I would take care of your fur baby like my own! I have a flexible schedule and work independently so I have plenty of flexibility for you and your baby!❤️ What works for your schedule will most likely work for mine. I look forward to spend time with and take care of your baby and I will enjoy every second! You can trust me with your pet like it’s my own! I am an honest human being with a heart full of love and compassion. I would love to take your fur baby to the park to play and have fun, as well as a jog/walk of course, and I wouldn’t mind giving your baby a bath if need be! Perhaps a trip to the pet store to spoil?! Don’t worry cats will love me too! I know just the spot they love scratched and will offer plenty of playtime.
“My 15 month old husky/German shepherd mix got along well with Aury. Aury took her for a couple of walks and kept her company while I was gone...my dog has severe separation anxiety but Aury handled her well. Would use her service again.”

“Maya did an outstanding job for us. She accepted a last minute request, which included a 6-day stay at our home while we were out of town on vacation. She connected very well with our 72 pound medium Bernedoodle, giving him lots of attention and care. Everything went smoothly and she remained focused and supportive to the end, even when our return flight was delayed by 3 hours. Thanks again Maya.”

“Hope house sat and watched my dog while I was out of town for 6 nights. She was punctual, quick to respond, and sent daily updates (and also she was very friendly). Hope left my house as clean as when she arrived, and my dog was very happy with all of the attention and exercise she received. I would recommend Hope for house sitting in the future and will be happy to have her watch Kaya again!”
“Claudia was amazing!! Truman and Stella were well taken care of and have a wonderful time with Claudia. She was so thoughtful and sent lots of pictures and videos. I would highly recommend her for your furry family members and would use her again for ours.”

“Great experience with Justin. He took excellent care of my pups and kept the house clean while I was gone. The dogs were in such a good mood when I returned, which tells me everything I need to know. Will definitely book again!”

“Jennifer stayed in my home and took care of my Shar-pei Chuffy. This is the first time I've used a service to take care of my dog. She was totally reliable and kept me updated with texts and photos. She won over my standoffish boy and he fell completely in love with her. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Ida is the best dog sitter ever! She is attentive to my two dogs and is genuinely interested in their well-being. She sends lots of pictures, is great about walks and play time, and overall does a fantastic job. Unlike other sitters I've had, she leaves my home spotless and is willing to take care of a few other chores, like watering the flowers when the temps outside hit triple digits. When I'm away, I know my dogs are happy and well cared for with Ida. Thank you!”

About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. In addition to owning dogs, I have cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors over the years. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I strive to provide the love, attention, exercise, and comfort they deserve while their families are away. My goal is to help pets feel happy, secure, and cared for, while giving their owners confidence and peace of mind. As a retiree, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. My days are typically spent staying active, running errands, enjoying hobbies, and spending time outdoors, which makes it easy to incorporate dog walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and companionship into my routine. Because I am not tied to a traditional work schedule, I can accommodate a variety of walking times and provide reliable, consistent care throughout the day. I enjoy being around animals and have the availability to ensure pets receive the exercise, attention, and affection they need while their owners are at work or away from home. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine to help them feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their family is away. I follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship, while also ensuring they have fresh water and a clean environment. I respect my clients' homes by keeping everything tidy and secure and providing regular updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for in the comfort of their own home.
“Joseph was great with our dogs, they were in a great mood when we got home! Good communicator and house sitter. He’s stayed with our dogs twice now and we will definitely book him again!”

“Michael was great. I have 2 dogs, an elderly dog who needs multiple medications and sometimes has accidents, and a 6 month old puppy. Michael continued our training with our puppy, he also helped with the crazy schedule the 2 dogs and kept our house in great order while we were gone for 10 days. I would highly recommend Michael to house and dog sit.”

Long Grove pet parents share their Rover experiences
We’re so grateful for the wonderful care of our dogs! Our older German Shepherd developed vertigo the week before our trip and was still a bit weak and unsteady when we left. Claudia took amazing care of her, and she returned much stronger. It was such a comfort knowing our dogs were in great hands so we could fully enjoy our trip.

Rebecca was a wonderful sitter! She was reliable, dependable, and so sweet to our pup! We had home renovations going on at the time of her sitting for us and she was so accommodating, which we greatly appreciated!! She provided us with wonderful updates about our dog. It was so nice to know our pup was in good hands while we were away! We would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone! Overall, such an amazing experience with her!!

Ben was absolutely outstanding. He showed up on time every day, accommodated my changing schedule, and, most important of all, he's a dog lover who knows what dogs need and how to keep them happy and entertained. Grayson would get so excited every day when Ben showed up! Basically, it was easy having Ben take care of Grayson. I only had to explain things once and he just handled things. And there really wasn't much explaining anyhow because, as a dog owner himself, Ben understands dogs. My kids are home from college now, so I have most of my dog needs covered, but I'll be calling Ben for any days that the kids aren't available. And Ben will be my only choice when they go back to school in August!

Brenda was absolutely fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter while we were out of town for over a week. From the very beginning, she gave us complete peace of mind. She sent daily updates with photos and videos, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our dogs were in such great hands. She truly went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she take excellent care of our dogs, but she also handled our senior dog’s twice-daily oral medication flawlessly, which was incredibly important to us. It’s clear she is both attentive and experienced. On top of that, we came home to a house that was in even better condition than when we left. She vacuumed, sanitized the countertops, and even emptied the dishwasher—none of which we asked for. It was such a thoughtful touch and made coming home that much easier. Brenda is reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. We feel so lucky to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!
