“Joe was great with our dog Junior, very attentive, very punctual, we could tell our dog Junior really liked spending time with him. We will definitely be using him the next time we need a sitter. We couldnt have been happier and more at ease. He was great!!”

“Ana was absolutely great with our dog while we were away on an extended vacation. She gave us consistent updates, and made us feel extremely comfortable with her watching our dog and house for us (even with an unfortunate encounter with a skunk!). We would absolutely use Ana again in the future without hesitation.”

“Lauren did a great job. The dogs were happy and she sent regular pictures to let us know how they were doing. She is easy to communicate with and we will definitely use her again!”

“We couldn’t have had a better experience with Yulija! She offered a meet and greet before the stay, followed our instructions carefully, and left our house in perfect condition. She went above and beyond sending photos and videos frequently throughout our booking too. Yulija was especially great with our dog who is extremely anxious and slow to warm up to people. We’ll be booking again for all future trips. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Gabrielle stayed over night for a week with our dog Theo and did a great job keeping us updated and letting us know if any questions came up. Would highly recommend!”

“Becca was wonderful! She was able to watch Tazer on short notice over a holiday weekend. She sent updates and photos letting me know how he was doing. I have never had someone new watch him before and she said he adjusted well. It was such a relief knowing I could get away and he was in great hands. I will definitely be using her to sit again.”

“Brenda was great to work with! She was available on short notice and made herself available to come by our house to meet Lola and get acquainted with everything before house sitting for the weekend. She was very communicative and took great care of Lola and the house. I will be scheduling her again in the future and highly recommend to anyone else!”

About: I have taken care of family dogs as well as my own household animals for over 10 years. I have watched both large and small dogs, and currently have a boxer, so I am used to high energy dogs as well. I have trained dogs when they are puppies, and have cared for senior dogs as well. I am currently in between jobs, as such I am available for all bookings and last minute services for the time being. I have ample time to tend to you pet. I care for pets with love most like everyone else, and I will extend the love for my dog to your four legged friends at home.
“Aury was super with our dogs - we have one that is very nervous and still new to our apartment and she was able to immediately win him over. She kept us informed during the whole time we were out and we couldn’t have been happier with her!”
“Jillian was great with our dog and cat and made us feel so comfortable when we left for the weekend ! She was responsive and sent lots of photos. She was very loving with our pets. We would definitely recommend her”

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life. I've volunteered at a dog and cat shelter, grown up surrounded by dogs, and cared for the pets of close friends and neighbors. Being around pets feels natural to me, and I truly love making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I am currently studying from home and I set my own schedule so I am very flexible and happy to work around your pet needs. I live with my family in a house with lots of space and a yard. The neighborhood is very quite and safe. We have a friendly dog that just wants a friend to play with, and everyone in the house loves dogs very much.
“The week up to July 4 is probably the roughest time for our Emma…..Erica did a remarkable job caring and consoling during the random fireworks events that take place in the neighborhood..,, more than just a sitter… Erica became a friend ho our Emma thanks Erica”

“Hiwi is the best! She kept us up to date with how our 2 very needy dogs and cat were doing through out the day. She is very loving and a great communicator. Would use her again in a heartbeat!”

“Ever since bringing home our high-energy working dog, we have really limited traveling, as kennels and day cares do not work for us. McKenzie is truly amazing! This is the first vacation where we were completely relaxed and felt at ease about leaving both of our dogs. McKenzie did send daily updates, was responsive, sent pictures/videos and handled medications. She was able to handle both my high energy 100 lb dog and my senior dog’s needs, as well. I am so very grateful for this experience and for being able to completely enjoy a trip for the first time in 3 years.”

“Karina was absolutely amazing. She gave us regular updates and spoiled our dogs more than we do. She took care of all of their medical issues. We will definitely ask Karina to watch our dogs again.”

“Mark is fantastic. He stayed at my house with our 2 dogs for a long weekend. The dogs were so happy and well cared for, my house was clean and in perfect condition. He even shoveled when it snowed! We will 100% have Mark over again.”

About: My family has raised dogs since I was young. With the last two dogs (and especially our newest), I've been responsible for at-home training (house-training, walking, commands) and taking care of their needs. In general, I have 3.5 hour night classes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and a 2 hour class Friday morning. Otherwise, my schedule is pretty open. I would love to chat about any further needs of your dog. Dogs can be pretty different from each other, so how I interact with your dog will depend on their needs and yours. As a general rule, I'm pretty affectionate with dogs but can be more distant if you or your dog prefer that.
“Judith and Cynthia were terrific. Pets were happy upon our return but I could see they were relaxed and had been well cared for. We will definitely seek these sitters out in the future. Thank you!”

Hawthorn Woods pet parents share their Rover experiences
I don’t even want to post this review as I don’t want Hailey to be all booked up when I need her, but she’s awesome. My dogs loved her. She’s so good with them, gets all the details of what they need right and really cares about them. If you book with her, you will not be disappointed. You’ll also get lots of videos and photos so you can see how happy they are!!

Haley and Alex came through for me in a very last-minute and stressful situation due to a family emergency. They stayed with my Boys and kept them happy and cared for in my home while I was out of town. They were great about keeping me updated, especially knowing how stressed I was since this was the first time anyone besides my immediate family took care of my pups. I would definitely book them again and will recommend them to all of my pet parent friends! 🐶🐾

Paige is awesome! She came and house sat for my puppy while I was busy with school orientation. I originally booked her for 3 days and ended up rebooking her for 2 more because she was so great. She was super flexible, made me feel totally at ease, and handled my puppy’s bitey behavior like a pro. Highly recommend!
