About: I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals in-between! In the last 17 years, I've been a cat mom, and recently had a dog with my ex-partner (who I still care for when they're out of town). The only constant in my life has been animals, and I get such a joy out of playing with them, taking them on walks, cuddles, and seeing their personalities come out. I used to work at a pet store (back in the day), and in the last 5 years, actually helped stray dogs + cats in my neighborhood find incredible families. I know basic dog training (like sit, stay, break, etc), and I'm quick to learn whatever else you do with your dog or cat to make their time as normal as possible as you're away. I work from home during the week and can take care of walking, feeding, and socialization. I'm also a performing musician so I travel around the Chicago-land area frequently. I like to keep your pet's day as normal as possible. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be for pet parents and the pets when there's disruption in their routine, so I try to do everything as it normally is - feeding, walking, training, giving treats, etc.

I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! About: I have worked in Veterinary medicine for over 14 years. I started out as a kennel attandant and worked by way up to become an uncertified veterinarty technicican. I started pet sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and have done it part-time ever since. I have experience with all sorts of dog and cat behaviors. I am flexible and can accommodate for most things. I do work 4 10 hr shift right now. I am available in the early AM and late PM. I do have weekends off right now as well. Depending on the location, I can stop in on my lunch breaks if it isn't too far from my work. I will be able to do anything a pet owner asks of me. I think it is good to keep the pet's routine as close to their norm as possible when their owners are away. This helps limits the stress for the pets.

For many years I also took care of my neighbor’s dogs when they traveled and had my own dog for 7 years. I currently have 2 cats. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
