Jennifer was a life saver and such a help with my two pups! Was traveling in the area and needed help at the hotel while I attended an event. She was professional, polite, communicative and the pups loved her! Would absolutely book again.

About: “Dog fever” doesn’t even begin to cover it — my girlfriend and I are counting down the days until we can bring home a new puppy. I’m the kind of person who can’t pass a dog on the street without stopping to say hello, so you can imagine how excited I get around animals. I’m a private contractor working remotely with a very flexible schedule. I can shift my day to day schedule and adapt to most needs you may have. I am a very attentive person with patience and much affection. I hope to keep your pets routine consistent & stress-free with exercise, playtime, or just extra attention.

About: I have been taking care and watching my own dog Millie for nearly a decade. I frequently walk, watch, and house sit for family and friends during the holidays. From puppies to older dogs I have experienced care with giving dogs medicine including diabetic shots. I love dogs and am passionate about taking care of them and making sure they are the happiest they can be. I’m currently in between jobs and looking for work so I am available any time during the week or weekend. I am currently dog walking for one client every week day around noon so outside of that I am available whenever needed! I frequently walk my own dog at home as well as feed them breakfast and dinner. I have dealt with many different breeds and types of dogs and can adapt to any station.

Anna was just wonderful! She came for drop-in visits and looked after my dog and cat while we were gone for 8 days. I looked forward to seeing the photos of my sweet dog on his walks and I couldn’t believe my extremely shy cat made appearances for photos, too! We were relaxed on our vacation knowing our pets were well looked after. Thank you so very much, Anna!

About: Hi! I’m Delaney and I hope to be your new pet sitter. I’ve been caring for cats, dogs, and other animals since I was young. I have volunteered at animal shelters, fostered kittens, and pet sat for friends/family. I have a disabled cat myself, so I’m used to providing specialized care. I grew up with pets that needed daily medication, so I feel confident in that skill as well. Looking forward to caring for your babies as if they were my own! I work part-time so I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets. I can drop in twice a day or more, depending on my schedule and what you’re looking for. Caring for your pets is a huge responsibility and I assure you that I will prioritize them as my own. You can trust that I will treat your pets as my own. I will spend as much time loving on them as they are comfortable with, but if they are shy or territorial to a stranger in their space, I will respect that too. I will keep everything tidy when it comes to your pet. Nobody wants to come home to a stinky house!

Cathy started caring for our black lab, Wendy, last week. She responded so quickly to my messages and was able to do a meet and greet within days of my first message to her! Our dog loves Cathy and it’s been going really well when Cathy comes to let her out at lunchtime. I would definitely recommend Cathy to care for your pet! She has a lab of her own and a lot of experience.

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I had two labs growing up and another lab in my early twenties who I still grieve for today. I currently have no dogs of my own so I pour all my love into my friend’s dogs. The dog I had my twenties had behavioral issues and required patience and understanding in a short amount of time he went from being withdrawn and antisocial to a complete love bug! I’m unemployed but I take care of my disabled mom. Because of this I have a very flexible schedule. I have always loved dogs and miss having one of my own. I’m always excited to spend time with my friend’s dogs. I don’t plan on boarding any dogs at my own home. With how my mom’s health is now it wouldn’t be a good idea to do so.

About: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Exceptional Dog Walker & Canine Caregiver Jeanine is an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a reliable, experienced, and deeply compassionate dog walker. With years of hands‑on experience as a skilled dog handler, she brings a level of professionalism and calm confidence that immediately puts both pets and owners at ease. Her background includes working with Lutheran Church Charities Comfort Dogs, where she gained extensive experience handling well‑trained, emotionally intuitive dogs in a variety of environments. She has also worked personally with multiple professional canine trainers, giving her a strong understanding of dog behavior, training principles, and safe handling techniques. Jeanine doesn’t just care for dogs—she genuinely loves them. She approaches every dog with patience, gentleness, and respect, treating each one as if they were her own. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, a high‑energy outing, or simply providing comfort and companionship, she is attentive, responsible, and fully present. Her combination of experience, intuition, and heartfelt love for animals makes her an exceptional choice for anyone looking for a dependable walker or caregiver. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day and early evening, and I build my commitments around the needs of the pets I care for. Whether a dog needs a consistent daily walk, occasional drop‑ins, or extra time and attention, I’m able to adjust accordingly. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so making space for it in my routine is simple and life‑giving. Caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—is always hands‑on, attentive, and rooted in genuine love for the canine. My own dog is my “fur child,” so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, seen, and included. At home, we play ball, go for walks, I home‑cook her meals, groom her, and she sleeps right beside me. She’s part of my daily life and activities. That same level of care, intuition, and presence carries into every client’s home. I respect each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort level, and I make sure they feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s following feeding instructions, maintaining training habits, or simply offering companionship and affection, I provide a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can relax and thrive. My goal is always to treat your dog with the same love and attentiveness I give my own.

About: I have experience caring for a multiple different pets. I have been taking care of others pets and my own since I was 14 years old. This includes dogs, cats, and ferrets. I currently own a Miniature Pinscher. This has given me firsthand experience working with a dog that can be energetic, stubborn, and pretty challenging majority of the time. Because of this, I am especially comfortable caring for pets with unique personalities, behavioral problems, anxiety, or high energy levels. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have helped friends, family, and neighbors by feeding, walking, playing with, and checking in on their pets while they were away. I understand that every animal has different needs and routines, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether it’s going on walks, providing companionship, administering basic care, or simply giving extra patience and attention, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care and give pet owners peace of mind while they’re away. I am currently a college student home for the summer taking online classes. I also work part-time as a server a few days a week, but my schedule is very flexible and I am willing to adjust it to accommodate your pet’s needs. This allows me to provide reliable care, including walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and will make sure they receive plenty of attention and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they may have. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and ferrets, including pets with behavioral challenges or anxiety. If I’m caring for your pet in your home or during visits, I make sure to provide my full attention, exercise, playtime, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and responsible hands.

About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.

About: I have had the pleasure and joy of being able to take care of lots of different animals for over 10 years. I spent some time on a farm where taking care of sheep, pigs, chicken, ducks, and the barn cats and dogs was a daily thing. Later on, I was the proud mama of a german shepherd named Bruno who stole my heart in every way. Unfortunately he is now gone since November of 2023. Since then, my lifestyle has changed and I am not able to have another dog of my own due to long working hours four days out of the week. However I love taking care of pets, especially dogs, and this is the perfect way to still have a connection with these wonderful creatures, even if they are not my own :) I promise to take care of yours as if it was my own! They will be royally treated with me! My Fridays through Sundays are free from other work and I would love to be able to take care of your pets, especially your dogs! I have a spacious home where your pet can feel free to roam and rest. I also have many trails I can take them on walks. There is also a spacious park area where we can play around if that's what your dog prefers! If I am coming to your home, I am more than happy to walk them short or long distances, play with them, or tend to any other pet needs!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. In fact, in April of 2022 I adopted a dog of my own being only 19 years old. I bathe, groom, feed and pay for her all on my own! I adopted her to be my emotional support animal and spend a lot of my hard earned money on her (which is very much worth it!). I believe dogs are family members and very important family members too. I believe dogs bring people together and bring happiness to the world. Therefore, I always treat dogs with the upmost care and make sure they are treated as family members whether they’re mine or not. Dogs are gifts to this world and they should always be treated as such! I am free most days that I am not dog sitting other dogs! As of right now, I am doing this job full time and am flexible! We have a smaller home which is why I have just a small dog of my own. But I trained my dog myself at the age of 19 and everyone I know says she’s the most well behaved dog they know and they absolutely adore her because of it. I will treat your pets with the upmost love and care like they’re my own.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always had a passion for animals. As a student and full-time house manager, I can’t have a pet of my own right now, so I love spending time with your fur babies instead. In my work as a house manager, pets are part of the family. I’ve helped reinforce training techniques alongside professional trainers, focusing on building trust and confidence at each pet’s pace with plenty of patience, playtime, and treats. I’ve also learned valuable pet care and wellness tips from a close friend who is a vet tech. You can count on me to provide dependable care, regular updates, and lots of love while you’re away. I’m currently balancing work and school as I pursue my BSW and accelerated MSW, with the goal of becoming a child and adolescent therapist and advocate. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I have dedicated availability to provide dependable pet care. As an experienced house manager, I understand the importance of routines, communication, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Building trust with both you and your pet is my top priority. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and the chance to get comfortable at their own pace. At home, I greet our cat Kiki like family and I’m convinced one day he’ll talk back! I bring that same energy to every pet I care for, including Bear, a playful pit bull I see regularly. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, provide lots of love and attention, and keep you updated while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
