“After having an anxious doggo anytime we boarded, I chose to go with a sitter. Anna was perfect! She was loving & caring with our dog, Zeva. I cannot express the peace of mind knowing Zeva was well taken care of when we were out of town. 10/10 recommend completely.”

“Jessica is absolutely the best! She showered our cat with so much love and attention while we were away for a few days. She sent pictures from each visit and the last 2 days she had him on her lap. I’m so jealous! 😁 We highly recommend Jessica!!!”

“Karina was attentive, caring and consistent while watching my cat. Mylo is the definitive ‘scaredy cat’, afraid of everyone and everything. He resisted her at first but she broke down his barriers and by the end of the week he was playing with her and letting her pet him! I’m grateful to have such a wonderful sitter for my fur children!”

About: I have been taking care and watching my own dog Millie for nearly a decade. I frequently walk, watch, and house sit for family and friends during the holidays. From puppies to older dogs I have experienced care with giving dogs medicine including diabetic shots. I love dogs and am passionate about taking care of them and making sure they are the happiest they can be. I’m currently in between jobs and looking for work so I am available any time during the week or weekend. I am currently dog walking for one client every week day around noon so outside of that I am available whenever needed! I frequently walk my own dog at home as well as feed them breakfast and dinner. I have dealt with many different breeds and types of dogs and can adapt to any station.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. I have an extremely safe neighborhood with a little park about a 3 minute walk away, two kids that love playing with dogs, (15 and 8) and an extremely friendly mini goldendoodle!
“Wonderful sitter! She takes very good care of my senior dog and cat. Very responsive and earnest. She is also really good at taking pictures! Will definitely ask for her again!”

“Aury was great with our two cats. She sent us pictures and reassured us how they were doing. She was flexible, on time, and reliable. Best of all she played with them, we highly recommend her!”

“Katerina was the best cat sitter we've ever had! She followed instructions perfectly, was very prompt and communicative, and sent lots of pictures and videos of our grumpy old man. We will definitely book with Katerina again!”

“Rachel did a wonderful job taking care of my two cats. She made sure to follow through instructions and clarify some additional questions during my stay away as well. This helped me feel reassured.”

About: Dog mom for 30 years giving love and care to dogs. I am organized, I follow a schedule, I love walking dogs and I have a high degree of responsibility. I have the flexibility to accompany them when you can't be at home with them. I have flexible schedule during my day because I have my kid at the school and I am flexible in my work. Also I can go at nights if the owner request. I think the pets feel more comfortable in their home. But if the owner feels the dog will be comfortable in my place, I can take of them in my home.
“Teena did a great job taking care of my cats! They seemed very comfortable with her. Teena sent me a note with pictures of every visit, including any behaviors that were fun or needed a question answered. It’s good to know I can rely on her for future care!”

About: I am a Special Education teacher who works at a Therapeutic School by day and an animal lover all day and night. I do not have kids but I have 3 cats and babysit my friends and families fur babies any chance I get. Pets have free range of my home, they can relax on the couch, chair and bed whenever they want. I have experience watching dogs from pups-elderly. I volunteer at a local animal rescue in Palatine and bring in therapy dogs to visit my classroom. I rescued and adopted a deaf kitty with one eye, and I've always had animals in my home. I am a non-smoker and vegan (vegans really do love animals). For any overnight/weekend stays, I will be home and available to play, go for lots of walks and hangout all weekend long with your fur baby. Regular walks, feedings, playtime and relaxation based on your dogs needs is my priority. I have three loving cats who will keep your dog company. I have a small backyard that is away from cars/traffic and a large front yard. I have a dog tie out and spiral stake for dogs that want to roam around my unfenced front and/or backyard. Playdates with neighboring dogs is always an option or solo, quiet time if they prefer. I can keep your pet on their walking/feeding/play/sleep schedule as you request.
“Gabrielle is incredible! She takes great care of our 10 year old lab, leaves details notes and is great with communication. She is definitely our go to dog sitter!”

“Mallory was wonderful, we booked her to drop in on our 2 cats for 2 weeks. Every day she fed and watered them, emptied the litterbox, gave them some love and treats! It saved us so much stress knowing she was watching them!”

Long Grove dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jennifer was always prompt with her drop ins, very communicative with me at each visit, sent great photos, and loved on all of our 4 cats and 1 dog like they were her own. She also accepted our booking fairly last minute over the holidays -she was a lifesaver! Would definitely recommend!

Yuliia was absolutely amazing! She kept our two pitbull mix pups happy, made sure they had adequate water and snacks, played with them and took great videos/pictures. Tails were wagging and the humans were put at ease that she was taking great care of them. Would DEFINITELY recommend hiring Yuliia to take care of your pets and we will certainly be using her again in the future:)
