“We were so lucky to have Abigail take care of our cat. Domu can be a bit skittish, but Abigail gave plenty of cuddles and TLC in addition to taking excellent care of her while we were away!”

“Having Jennifer as a cat sitter provided so much peace of mind when I was away. She is very reliable, pays attention to detail, and her updates also provided a lot of information on how my cat was doing.”

“Great sitter. Took tons of photos of my kitties so I knew they were well. Followed instructions for daily visits. Connected it my friendly cat all the time and made progress with my shy girl. Will definitely use again.”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.

“Kelsey watched our cat for a week while we were out of town. She was always on time, took great photos and took excellent care of “our boy.” An issue came up with our garage door opening on its own, and Kelsey quickly got in touch with us and manually closed the door. And she made sure our house was secure. She made us feel completely secure knowing our house and our cat were being taken care of. We would definitely use Kelsey’s services again.”

“Scott has taken care of my cat twice now and does an excellent job. He feeds and spends time with Quinn and administers her insulin shots since she is diabetic. We are so thankful he takes such good care of our girl!”

About: Growing up, I had a couple dogs. Along with family and friends always having dogs around, I have always taken care of dogs. I love to walk them, bathe them, and play! I would take care of your fur baby like my own! I have a flexible schedule and work independently so I have plenty of flexibility for you and your baby!❤️ What works for your schedule will most likely work for mine. I look forward to spend time with and take care of your baby and I will enjoy every second! You can trust me with your pet like it’s my own! I am an honest human being with a heart full of love and compassion. I would love to take your fur baby to the park to play and have fun, as well as a jog/walk of course, and I wouldn’t mind giving your baby a bath if need be! Perhaps a trip to the pet store to spoil?! Don’t worry cats will love me too! I know just the spot they love scratched and will offer plenty of playtime.
“Gabrielle has consistently been so wonderful with our dog and cat! We're so thankful for how well she cares for them and communicates with us. We absolutely recommend her!!”

“Neda was AMAZING! Charley was well cared for, happy, and we truly appreciated the updates and extra attention. It’s a great feeling to find someone you can trust. We especially appreciated her patience and understanding when dealing with the challenges of getting into our home. We highly recommend this amazing dog sitter and will definitely be using her services again!”
About: I have experience taking care of my own pets as well as neighbors, friends, and families. I have a deep love and respect for animals and am sure to do anything to keep them happy and healthy! I’m currently a student at Butler University so I have a flexible schedule and am able to help out with your pets during typical working hours! I will follow any guidelines set by the owner and will follow instructions thoroughly. I can feed, walk, play with, crate, etc. depending on what you need for your fur baby!

About: I've taken care of my hyper active dog that likes to jump off walls for 10 years. I took care of a couple coworkers' pets (3 dogs) for weeks on end while they were on vacation. I've taken long walks with dogs no matter the weather, as long as the doggy is well prepared for the weather (ie winter coats and summer shoes). My previous dog loved sticking his head out of the car when I drive so I can drive around with your doggy if thats what they want. Taking them on nature walks will always be my favorite thing, so dogs can experience something new. I do work full time in lake forest but I thankfully have a flexible schedule, especially for lunch. I am able to take 1.5 hours for lunch so I can always swing by the house for a check in. I'm always free on weekends to give the animals the most love and care I will keep up to date on any issues that arises and be vigilant in making sure the animals don't mess up the garden or make a mess in the house. I can help clean the floors of all the dog hair
“Christina is so good with our kitties! It helps lessen the guilt of leaving them when she is there. She has a way with them, and getting our shy ones to come out of hiding 💕”

“Haven did drop in visits for us when we left for the hospital to have a baby. Penny was well cared for and happy as a clam when we returned, and Haven was super flexible with us as babies tend to come on their own timelines! Thanks so much Haven for your help!”

About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. My house has one kitten, and my backyard is not fenced in. I’d love to take care of your pet in either your home or mine, whichever is easiest!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lincolnshire with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
