About: I have been taking care and watching my own dog Millie for nearly a decade. I frequently walk, watch, and house sit for family and friends during the holidays. From puppies to older dogs I have experienced care with giving dogs medicine including diabetic shots. I love dogs and am passionate about taking care of them and making sure they are the happiest they can be. I’m currently in between jobs and looking for work so I am available any time during the week or weekend. I am currently dog walking for one client every week day around noon so outside of that I am available whenever needed! I frequently walk my own dog at home as well as feed them breakfast and dinner. About: I have taken care of service dogs for 2 years in college now as part of the service dog club. I have taken care of puppies and old dogs so you’re in good hands. I’m working remote as a software engineer for a start up so I’m fully available for any time and any schedule that works for you. I live in a great suburb for tons of space for any sized dog to walk and play and tons of space inside as well.

My goal is to make every pet feel loved, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with dogs ranging from 6 pounds to 102 pounds. I have taken care of sick dogs as well as large dogs that have trouble walking. I genuinely love and care for every dog I encounter. I have availability throughout the week from the morning to the afternoon (Mon-fri). I am happy to do up to 5 walks a day. I cannot work weekends. I’m very aware when opening a door to not let the dogs escape. I understand that some dogs don’t enjoy their crate and have learned tricks to getting them to enter. I keep a strong grip on the leash in case of a squirrel encounter.

About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. I’m very comfortable giving medications to pets as I’ve had a lot of practice with this with my own pets and while sitting! I am currently on summer break so I should be available all day unless I have it blocked off on my calendar! I plan to travel around the end of summer and move out of Illinois in the fall. My house has one kitten, and my backyard is not fenced in. I’d love to take care of your pet in either your home or mine, whichever is easiest!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. In fact, in April of 2022 I adopted a dog of my own being only 19 years old. I bathe, groom, feed and pay for her all on my own! I adopted her to be my emotional support animal and spend a lot of my hard earned money on her (which is very much worth it!). I believe dogs are family members and very important family members too. I believe dogs bring people together and bring happiness to the world. Therefore, I always treat dogs with the upmost care and make sure they are treated as family members whether they’re mine or not. Dogs are gifts to this world and they should always be treated as such! I am free most days that I am not dog sitting other dogs! As of right now, I am doing this job full time and am flexible! We have a smaller home which is why I have just a small dog of my own. But I trained my dog myself at the age of 19 and everyone I know says she’s the most well behaved dog they know and they absolutely adore her because of it. I love getting to know what makes each one special. My own dog, Scarlet, is a 6-year-old Shih Tzu-Poodle mix with the cutest snaggle tooth you've ever seen. She's named after the Grateful Dead and has taught me so much about patience, communication, and unconditional love. Growing up with Scarlet and caring for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments has made me comfortable around all kinds of pets. I'm an active person who loves walks, hikes, workouts, outdoor adventures, playtime, and enrichment activities—but I'm equally happy spending time cuddling on the couch with a dog who prefers a slower pace. With most bookings, given around or at least a 24 hour notice, I am generally flexible enough to have plenty of time for your friends, their specific needs, and even a little extra play time or good belly rubs! I am generally available from 8:00am until 9:00pm. At this time, I cannot offer in-home services, so all of my experiences with your best friends will take place in your home! I take pride in my trustworthiness, and understand the risks and apprehensions of having someone in your home. I do my best to give my full attention to your friends while being respectful of your space. Here as an idea of my general approach with most bookings. With any drop-in services, I will provide any needs requested (walks, let in yard, playtime, feeding, etc.), while ensuring no extra mess is left behind and your personal belongings and areas are untouched. For walking services, I will spend minimal time in your common areas, other than some greeting cuddles and a little post-walk playtime. For overnight boarding services, I will ensure the impact of my presence in your home will be minimal and will prioritize the routine of your pet. I will gladly abide by any wishes or other requests you have regarding my stay in your home, in addition to those surrounding your best friend. Please keep in mind, these routines are just my template! My experience with every pet is going to be different, and I am more than willing to adapt to the style that your friends are used to. I like to provide this as an insight to what you may expect as far as my presence in your home.

About: I've taken care of my hyper active dog that likes to jump off walls for 10 years. I took care of a couple coworkers' pets (3 dogs) for weeks on end while they were on vacation. I've taken long walks with dogs no matter the weather, as long as the doggy is well prepared for the weather (ie winter coats and summer shoes). My previous dog loved sticking his head out of the car when I drive so I can drive around with your doggy if thats what they want. Taking them on nature walks will always be my favorite thing, so dogs can experience something new. I do work full time in lake forest but I thankfully have a flexible schedule, especially for lunch. I am able to take 1.5 hours for lunch so I can always swing by the house for a check in. I'm always free on weekends to give the animals the most love and care I will keep up to date on any issues that arises and be vigilant in making sure the animals don't mess up the garden or make a mess in the house. About: I just graduated from the University of Michigan and will be home in Chicago for the Summer before starting work. I have fostered two dogs over the last 6 months and both have gotten adopted!! I also have owner 3 dogs for a majority of my life as well as have had pet chinchillas, birds, hamsters, fish. I especially love big dogs! I am currently a student at the University of Michigan, so I have a lot of availability over the summer and breaks from school as well as time everyday in the afternoon and evening, and mornings on weekends. I live in a student apartment on campus, so I do not currently care for animals in my own home, however, I am very diligent about crating, closing fences and doors, as well as approaching animals in a calm manner.
