“Jason quickly made a strong connection with our lab, Ralph, and with us. He puts extra time, thought and effort into his care of Ralph which has made a difference. He is also extremely responsive and provides detailed information about each interaction. He’s terrific!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Denis was amazing!! He was so professional and immediately put me at ease when we met. It was so fun to get pics of our dog while we were out of town & I knew he was being taken care of. I highly recommend Denis & Nikki!”

“Veronica is great with Cea Bud.. the first time she took Cea Bud for a walk, was a tough day for our family. There were thunder storms all day. As you can imagine I felt terrible leaving my guy to go to work and my husband was out of town. Cea Bud was so scared all day. Veronica came over and did everything she could to get him to go out to do his business. She even pucked him up and carried him out side, he ran back in the hous. He wouldn't budge, too scared of the thunder. Veronica ended up just sating with him and comfort him the whole time. Later that day she was able to come back and managed to get him to go outside. When she came the next day he was totally different dog, the sun was out and they went for a big run/walk together. .. we've only used veronica's service a few times, but she is who I will call whenever Cea bud is in need of a little extra TLC ”

“Diana was prompt, responsive and reliable! She was great to work with and I felt so much relief leaving my pets in good hands while I was away. Thank you Diana! Will absolutely rebook soon”

“Samantha took great care of our pup. Sent us pictures and a recap every day. Our pup seemed to be really responsive to Samantha. I will definitely be using Samantha again. She is very caring of our pup.”

“Erica is wonderful! She took great care of my reactive pit mix, Finnegan. She took her time with him and he really loved her. It isn’t easy to find someone willing to walk a stronger dog that gets scared a lot outside so we appreciate Erica very much! We will absolutely be booking with her again.”

About: Growing up, I am thankful my family were avid animal lovers. Our home was always shared with cats, dogs, and fish. I have been fortunate enough that our love and care for animals has enabled us to have long living pets, with my first cat living until 18 years old and dog until 13 years old. This experience has given me a deep understanding of cat / dog behavior, their health needs, and how to provide the best care at every stage of their life. I’m comfortable managing everything from playful dogs/ kittens to senior dogs/cats with specific health concerns. I also understand the importance of building trust with both cats and dogs and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable, especially when their owners are away. I'm dedicated to creating a routine that suits each pet's personality and needs, whether it's administering medication, providing companionship, or just offering a safe, loving environment. As I currently work from home with a flexible schedule, I am able to offer my pets, or the pets I'm sitting for, plenty of attention throughout the day. I can easily adjust my routine to ensure that their needs are met, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just cuddling. I can offer multiple check-ins and am available for walks, play sessions, and monitoring health or behavior throughout the day. I will treat each pet with the utmost respect and care, ensuring that each pet receives proper attention and one-on-one time. I will make sure to follow each animal's regular routine and schedule as closely as possible. I am very conscientious of others' homes and will clean up after myself and the pets.
“Shannon was extremely reliable and great with our dog. We had no issues and she was really pleasant to work with. We will definitely be hiring her again whenever we need help watching/walking our dog!”

“Lea did an exceptional job taking care of our of poodle/ chihuahua mix. She followed our instructions precisely and when he didn’t want to take his meds with th treat provided, she improvised with a different treat to make sure he took the medication. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable sitter for their fur baby”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life and caring for them is a passion of mine. I have experience with dogs of many breeds and sizes, reactive dogs, cats, and medication administration. I understand and appreciate that every animal is different and am more than happy to accommodate to their unique needs. With a chronically-ill cat of my own, I understand that being away from your pets can be stressful, and I hope to provide the same peace of mind that Rover sitters have given me. I am nearing the end of physician assistant school and will have a good amount of free time while awaiting licensure and full-time employment. My current schedule is somewhat flexible, so we should be able to make something work! When caring for a pet in their own home, I fully accommodate to their normal routine. I am happy to meet beforehand to discuss the ins and outs of your pet's individual needs.

“We love working with Maria. We are new dog owners and just got a puppy and were overwhelmed with the adjustment, but Maria right away trained him with a few commands which helped us at home tremendously. Our dog loves Maria. And we totally recommend her!”

“Abby continues to provide the quality of care that we give to our dog and goes above and beyond to give him as much love and attention as he is accustomed to!”

About: I’ve taken care of different types of dogs since I was 14. I had a golden doodle pet of my own for 12 years. I have given injections and pills to dogs. I have been trusted to take care of dogs with epilepsy and diabetes. I have plenty of time to be with your animals. I love cuddling with them and won’t have a problem having them in my bed. I am from Riverwoods and it is soon to be my senior year in college but I have time off now. I also love being active and outside. I have no concerns about anxious dogs and I know they will warm up to me with time. I can crate your dog if needed. For extra outdoor time, I have a a zip line cord to connect to a collar that prevents them from going past a certain point in the backyard since we do not have a fenced in yard. They can roam around there.
About: I rescued two dogs in which I had for over 4 years, I recently had to rehome them due to moving back home. Im willing to help you look after yours in order to satisfy my selfish little need to fill those holes that’s in the shape of my two boys that I miss so dearly! This will be a side job to my but I will take it just as seriously as my primary job! I absolutely love these animals. I feed them twice and day and make sure they’re very hydrated. I am a busy body so I will take them on walks either long or short, depending on age of the dog. I will keep them company as they will keep me mine! I will work hard to build their trust and make them feel as safe as possible and comfortable to be them in their own home or mine, however it plays out.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 35 years. I currently have a German Shepherd and a domestic short hair cat. I volunteer at the humane society socializing cats. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. I prefer to stay in the northern Virginia area if possible. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. I amvery experienced keeping an active dog entertained. I can take small dogs for walks in your neighborhood
