About: I’m Valeriia - an animal lover to the core. Growing up, our home was always full of pets, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s an energetic dog or an independent cat, I love caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. And yes - I can absolutely handle a strong puller on a leash without breaking a sweat! 🐾 I am relatively new to offering dog walking and boarding professionally (turns out we just didn’t know this could be a job sooner!), but our first clients came through word of mouth-which I think says a lot. Now we’re excited to connect with even more pet families through Rover. 🥰 When your dog stays with me, they’ll be in a smoke-free, child-free home where they’ll feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I live on the first floor with a spacious living room plenty of room to play and relax. While I don’t have a backyard, our community features a beautiful park and lake, making it the perfect place for calm, enjoyable walks. I am carefully follow every owner’s instructions, administering medications if needed, and sending frequent photo and video updates - so many that you’ll barely feel like you were apart 📸 One more thing: my English is still a work in progress, but don’t worry - communication is never a problem. And as for the pets? They understand me just fine. 🐾 My primary job is fully remote, so I’m home for most of the day. From time to time, I may step out for a couple of dog walks, but those are always short, and I’m never away for long. Because I live in an apartment community, it’s important that pets are comfortable staying home alone for short periods without excessive barking or howling, out of respect for our neighbors. The rest of the time, I’m almost always at home, so your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout their stay. I always follow the routine your pet is used to and carefully stick to all of your instructions, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, or any special requests. I also send regular photo and video updates, so you’ll always know what your pet is up to and can enjoy your time away without worrying.

About: Why should I be your sitter?? Great question! I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life. I have sitter experience for family, friends and neighbors spanning over 20 plus years. I aim to be very responsive and typically get back to interested clients in under 10 mins. I will provide multiple pictures and videos of any visit! I genuinely love spending time with animals and feel like it is not work to give pets a better life and great care. I specialize in: 1. Senior pets! I love our older furry friends and have many years of experience with medications, dietary needs and comfort for older dogs and cats. 2. Anxious pets! Animals that have separation anxiety, need boundaries when on walks ie. No petting, or triggers like thunderstorms. I have owned pets that have all of the above and sit for them as well. 3. Puppies and kittens! I know many are working on training plans that need a strict adherence. I am happy to work with goals you have for your young learners :) I believe that pets are members of our family and want to give every animal the support they need! About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs almost all my life. I am also close relatives first option when it comes to looking after their pets. I currently have lots of free time to help look after your pets! I have six pets that I take care/help take care of it would be no problem adding more. Cats litter is sustainably yours and scooped 3x a day. Air purifier by the cats litter. Stainless steel water fountain that the cats and dogs absolutely love. 3-liter anti bloat dog bowl for outside with a sprinkler. We provide our own leash & poop bags- *DOGS WALKED ON HARNESS ONLY-NO COLLARS* *Cats may ocassionaly get churu frozen treats during the summer *Dogs may get some as well or cut apples PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUD LIKE TO OPT OUT OF THIS OR IF YOUR PETS ARE CHICKEN SENSITIVE House sitting: During my visits, I prioritize safety: all doors are locked at all times, and I take great care to leave your home clean and untouched. I can also bring in packages and mail upon request. For overnight stays, *Apartments only* I provide my own food, bring my own sheet, blanket, pillow, and towel for added comfort. I may have one member of my family visit during this time. Dog walking: Harness only- no walks by collar. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and boundaries so they feel secure and cared for. I have experience with cats of all ages, including kittens, seniors, hospice kitties, and cats needing medication. For dogs, I’ve worked with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments through Heartland Animal Shelter. I have a fenced yard for dogs that'll enjoy supervised outdoor time (always safely monitored). Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I adapt to what makes them happiest.

About: My doggies taught me everything I know. They are no longer here - they went to doggy heaven and we miss them all the time. My teens and I have a lot love to give and want to share with your doggy. You can rest assured we would treat your doggy as if it were ours. Also, anything under 10.5 miles for more than 1 day I offer pick up and dropp off. I work from home and have a very tight routine in our home that will help your pet feel calm and secure. Since pets thrive on routine it will bring them peace and calmness. I can give extra walks when it's a nice day and make sure we stay active if need or relaxed and enjoying a lazy "dog day". I have a quiet, grassy backyard that gives dogs a calm place to sniff, stretch their legs, and enjoy fresh air. It's a low-stress space that's great for potty breaks and relaxed outdoor time. I'm very mindful of which dogs are a good fit for my space and always put safety and comfort first so that your pups feel happy and at ease while they're with me. Doggies are allowed on our beds and couches and even our bathrooms :) - we keep a light sense of humor

I have a possibility to take out your pet as often as needed.

With most bookings, given around or at least a 24 hour notice, I am generally flexible enough to have plenty of time for your friends, their specific needs, and even a little extra play time or good belly rubs! I am generally available from 8:00am until 9:00pm. At this time, I cannot offer in-home services, so all of my experiences with your best friends will take place in your home! I take pride in my trustworthiness, and understand the risks and apprehensions of having someone in your home. I do my best to give my full attention to your friends while being respectful of your space. Here as an idea of my general approach with most bookings. With any drop-in services, I will provide any needs requested (walks, let in yard, playtime, feeding, etc.), while ensuring no extra mess is left behind and your personal belongings and areas are untouched. For walking services, I will spend minimal time in your common areas, other than some greeting cuddles and a little post-walk playtime. For overnight boarding services, I will ensure the impact of my presence in your home will be minimal and will prioritize the routine of your pet. I will gladly abide by any wishes or other requests you have regarding my stay in your home, in addition to those surrounding your best friend. Please keep in mind, these routines are just my template! My experience with every pet is going to be different, and I am more than willing to adapt to the style that your friends are used to. I like to provide this as an insight to what you may expect as far as my presence in your home.

I’ve had both dogs and a cat as pets so I am very familiar & comfortable with them. I have experience with caring for dogs starting at 8 weeks up until their senior years, so I know how important it is to stick to a schedule when it comes to potty breaks or medication. Since I am a teacher, I have most of the summer completely free on the week days and weekends other than a few weeks where I will be traveling. I am able to stay at your home all day and night if needed, to help watch over fur baby. I ensure that your pet stays comfortable in your own home by respecting their space and boundaries at all times.
