About: Hi, I’m Soojin! I recently moved to the Deerfield area and I truly love dogs, cats, and all animals. I have many years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from curious little puppies to sweet senior dogs who need a bit more patience and gentle attention. Rover isn’t about money for me. It’s about sharing love and comfort with animals I miss so much since moving away from my own dogs in Korea. I enjoy calm walks, quiet companionship, and warm cuddles with furry friends. I would be so happy to give your pet the same care and affection I would give my own. My work schedule is flexible and my husband stays in home since he works in remote. We prefer to have dogs in weekend but weekdays are also fine! We have a green yard back of our place so dogs can easily go out for a walk. I have many experiences with senior dogs who doesn't want to go out very often, so I can fit any routine they need.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.

About: I have had at least two dogs at a time throughout my entire life, ranging from mid size mutt to large Bernese Mountain Dog, and from puppy to senior age. I am equipped to handle dogs of all kinds of temperaments and sizes for whatever your canine-related needs might be. Open to work nearly every day of the week for walking, drop in visits, or dog sitting. I currently have a part time job that takes up many weekdays during the evening, however outside of 5 days a week evenings I am free pretty much all day to be able to help out with pets. I have two dogs at home anyways that I need to take care of. I am a very non invasive person who does not seek to invade on yours or the dogs space. I am looking to connect with any animal I might take care of and develop a relationship with them.

About: I’ve taken care of different types of dogs since I was 14. I had a golden doodle pet of my own for 12 years. I have given injections and pills to dogs. I have been trusted to take care of dogs with epilepsy and diabetes. I have plenty of time to be with your animals. I love cuddling with them and won’t have a problem having them in my bed. I am from Riverwoods and it is soon to be my senior year in college but I have time off now. I also love being active and outside. I have no concerns about anxious dogs and I know they will warm up to me with time. I can crate your dog if needed. For extra outdoor time, I have a a zip line cord to connect to a collar that prevents them from going past a certain point in the backyard since we do not have a fenced in yard. They can roam around there.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 35 years. I currently have a German Shepherd and a domestic short hair cat. I volunteer at the humane society socializing cats. I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. We travel a bit but am available when in town. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. I am experienced keeping an active dog entertained. I can take small dogs for walks in your neighborhood
