Dog Walking Techny

About: I grew up on a farm and we had dogs, cats, horses, chickens, pigs, goats and cows. I’ve been around animals all my life and my ultimate goal is to get back to farm life and have an animal sanctuary I work a full time job, and would be available on weekends for drop in visits and dog walks. I know weekends are when people want to go to dinner or a concert and they don’t want to rush home to take their dog out for a walk. I have years of experience with both cats and dogs. I’m 60 years old and a trusted member of the Northbrook community for the last 26 years.

About: Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted dogs to be a big part of my life. I begged my parents for one, but instead they had me start dog sitting to prove I was responsible enough. After many dog sleepovers, we finally welcomed Kirby into our family for my 12th birthday! Caring for Kirby taught me that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and loved. When I'm caring for your pet, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need, and I'll keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'm working part time 2-3 nights per week, and have some weekend obligations. Other than that, pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I am committed to provide reliable care! I'll be paying close attention of surroundings to keep your dog safe! To assure peace of mind, I'll make it an intention to send updates after each adventure! And of course I will respect any route preferences :) When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they always have fresh water, exercise, and plenty of attention--my goal is to follow all care instructions as closely as possible. I also treat every client's home with the same respect I would my own. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience for both you and your pet.

About: I've owned two dogs and cared for both from puppyhood through their senior years, so I'm familiar with the different needs that come with each stage of life. My second dog also managed to get into more than a few unexpected situations, which taught me to pay close attention, stay calm, and recognize when something doesn't seem right. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I've dog sat for a number of others, each with their own personalities, routines, and preferences. I know every dog is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. I treat every dog in my care like they're my own and always do my best to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I currently work at Starbucks as a supervisor. I have semi-flexible hours and given enough notice I can make myself more available. I always work try and work my schedule around yours. I have a fenced yard by a park so the doggies might find/receive free tennis balls in our yard! My family had two dogs before so we always had water and food out when we weren't home. We did not necessary keep a cage but if thats a necessity I can make it work! I do live with family still so if I can't be home at a certain time often they are home to help me out.
