Iris can be very slow to warm to folks and can be a bit nervous, but she instantly hit it off with Donna. About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024! I’m working part and full time depending on the week, but have most availability on weekends and later in the afternoons. Happy to do house sitting as long as the dogs can be alone for up to 6 hours on the days I work! I care for all pets as if they were my own, making sure they have all the attention and care they need and then some.

“We were so blessed that Bob was not only available on a Saturday at short notice, but willing to watch our three fur babies, one them elderly and in need of medication! We are from out of state, and had to bring the dogs with us. Saturday required us to be a part of an all-day 50th anniversary celebration, so the dogs needed to be attended to for 10 hours. Bob was incredibly gracious, caring, and attentive to details about our furbies; especially our sweet Maddie, who is blind and requires medication three times a day. About: I am so excited to be back on Rover. I had my very own fur baby but she crossed the rainbow bridge. I love taking care of others fur babies. I am responsible, communicative, and very protective of all the dogs that are under my care. When not traveling I have a pretty open schedule. I would be home most of the time with your pet. When not running errands. I try to be around for your pet as much as possible while they acclimate to a routine in my house. I live close to the lake so if your doggie wants long walks we have an entire lake trail to walk. I also live on a dog friendly street so we have lots of space to go on walks.
