What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care and attention I give to every pet I meet. I treat every animal as if they were my own and believe that caring for your pet is a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and specific needs, and I enjoy taking the time to get to know them so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of many sizes and breeds, from very small dogs to very large dogs. I also have personal experience with shy and anxious dogs, as I helped raise and care for a dog from puppyhood who was naturally timid and nervous. Because of this, I understand the importance of patience, gentle interactions, respecting boundaries, and allowing pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I am committed to providing personalized care and plenty of attention. I am always happy to learn about your pet’s preferences, habits, and any special instructions so I can provide the best possible experience for both you and your pet.

In my home, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. I have a fenced yard for outdoor time and a home equipped with pet gates, plenty of toys, blankets, and stairs to help pets comfortably access beds and couches if allowed by their owners. I also make sure pets have plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home while they’re with me. My priority is always making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand that every pet has different routines and preferences, and I work to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I closely follow the owner’s instructions and routines to maintain consistency for their pet. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or using specific toys and supplies, I use whatever the owner has approved to provide the best possible care and make the most of our time together.

Emma is patient, kind, and very personable. You can really see her love for animals. She’s playful and fun around our pup! Shilo loves her and so do we! We would definitely recommend Emma’s pet services to a friend or family member!
Emma did a fabulous job with our two dogs!!! One is a very senior dog and the other is a big, energetic boy! She was able to handle both and sent us daily updates. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her in the future!

Schedule
I am currently a commuting college student and also work an on-campus job. During the school year, I typically work a few days a week from approximately 1:00 PM to 5:00–7:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexibility in my schedule and am committed to providing attentive and reliable care for your pets. Until after Labor Day, I have the ability to set my own work hours, which gives me even greater flexibility and availability for pet care. I am always happy to discuss scheduling needs ahead of time to ensure I am the right fit for your pet and can provide the care and attention they deserve.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know about their personality, routine, and any special needs they may have. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, or mobility concerns so I can provide the best possible care. It’s also very helpful to know about your pet’s quirks, favorite activities, fears, triggers, and how they interact with new people, animals, or environments. If your pet has any history of reactivity, anxiety, or aggression, I appreciate knowing that ahead of time so I can keep everyone safe and ensure your pet receives the care and environment that suits them best.
