About: I've grown up looking and caring for puppies to senior dogs. Went to college and did veterinary classes to help take care of them better. when I graduated I interned at a Zoo where I thought the public about various animals and cared for the education animals! Safety is so important that I try to work it into my daily schedule. I work with my own dog on being examined on his eyes, ears, etc. to decrease stress at vet appointments. I am always watching him while he's out in my fenced in backyard as well. I check the environment of hazards multiple times a week. whether that be checking the home for things pets can choke on or make them sick or outside for other hazards.
“Marissa was the most responsible sitter ever! She had to deal with some crazy things thrown her way while she was with us. Our fence fell down from the wind, one dog had tummy troubles and the our flight home cancelled ohh and it snowed. Marissa handled everything perfectly and went above and beyond our expectations!! She sent pics and update often and communicated with us the whole time. She even took on the difficult job of walking our 3 dogs at the same time. We would love to have Marissa back anytime. About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was in elementary school. I’ve been responsible for things like feeding them, walking them, and taking them out at night and in the morning Right now, my only commitments are on Sunday mornings, when I teach religious school in Deerfield. About: hello! my name is charlize i’m 22 i’ve grown up with animals my whole life and now i currently work at an animal hospital helping taking care of the dogs and cats that come in to see the vet. i’m very experienced with animals and taking care of animals and i love all different kinds of animals. i’ve worked at the animal hospital now for two and a half years and its been the most amazing two and a half years of my life. i am also going to school to practice becoming a veterinarian so i am really excited to meet all new furry friends for more experience. i am good with administering medication, i am good with dealing with aggressive dogs, i am good with any diabetic cat or dog with dosing insulin. you name it and i can do it!! i work part time hours at the animal hospital during the summer months and full time during fall and winter but i am extremely flexible, as i work on my terms and conditions. i am willing to fit last minute accommodation if it works with my personal schedule but i can also take time out of my day if needed to walk a dog etc. i unfortunately cannot have pets in my building but i am more than willing and able to go to anyone else’s beloved home to pet sit, or walk, or feed animals. i come in with a soft expression and wait for the animals to get used to me and my scent and then i wait for their approval to come further in their home/space. i am very careful to not touch them when they don’t want to be touched and i am always patient with animals especially if they’re new to my route.

Grace did an amazing job taking care of our dog and cat! Both are rescues from Texas and have their own little quirks, and she handled each of them with so much patience, kindness, and care.
