About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by dogs. I grew up with dogs and grew up caring for them, walking them and cleaning up after them. As a college athlete. I am looking to help out the community any way possible. I think my active lifestyle can translate well with what it takes to be successful in Rover. I have a high motor and am an extremely determined hard worker. I care for pets as if they were my own, with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and respect for each client’s home. In clients’ homes, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, leash preferences, and any behavioral or medical needs. I make sure dogs get attentive, unrushed walks with plenty of positive reinforcement and appropriate exercise based on their age and energy level.

“Trina is such a lifesaver. We had a dog sitter lined up who had to bail on us about 12 hrs before we were supposed to leave on our first ever Disney vacation. She responded to my message immediately, was available on short notice and honestly spoiled the heck out of my dog! My dog is a senior citizen and takes 2-4 meds a day. She made sure he got all his meds, followed an intricate feeding schedule, and loved him as her own. She checked in with me daily to assure us he was doing well. She also helped feed our fish and turtle. What a lifesaver! We returned to happy animals and a very clean house. We will definitely be using Trina for all our vacations from here on out!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always felt very natural to me. My last dog was with me for 14 years, and I got to experience every stage of her life with her. I went from playing with her as a little kid to taking her on walks and eventually helping care for her as she got older. Having her alongside me for so many years made her feel like a constant part of my life, and I really grew up with her in a way that I’ll always be grateful for. My current dog has been with me for four years and was rescued from a breeding farm. When we first brought her home, she was extremely nervous and wouldn’t even leave our mudroom. It took a lot of patience and consistency for her to become comfortable, but now she sleeps in my bed and follows me everywhere. That experience taught me that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, and sometimes they just need someone willing to give them the time to adjust. Maple (Her name) has taught me so much about her, myself, and how to care for different dogs. Given that she lives at home with my mother while I’m at school, I miss her like I’d miss a sibling or parent and we both always get unbelievably excited to see eachother when I am home for breaks. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and building a relationship with them. Whether they’re energetic, shy, older, or just love attention, I like figuring out what makes each dog comfortable and happy. I think caring for pets gives me just as much joy as I give them, which is why I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I am a current junior at the College of Lake Forest, studying psychology and I’m as well a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Given that, my schedule can get fairly busy during the afternoon and early evening most days however I am very good at managing my class schedule and athletics schedule to best make time for what I need, which will be the pet. No matter what home I’m in I will provide the animal with better than proper care. Growing up with pets I’ve gained a true care for every single one of them and I can guarantee that I will provide the best environment, safety, care, and love to any pet whether it’s in my own apartment or the clients home.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for about 4 years and I have a fur baby of my own as well. He’s 8 months old and absolutely a sweet boy. Your baby is in good Hands. I’m active duty military and my off days are spent with my fur baby and spending time with him. I have a lot of free time so your pet fits perfectly I live in an apartment but it’s very pet friendly and my own fur baby is very friendly so your baby will have company. Your pet will have freedom to roam around freely.

Kathryn agreed to a couple of drop-in’s leading up to our trip which helped me feel better about leaving. Kathryn took great care of our golden while we were away, kept us updated on how they were doing, shared pictures, and let us know when she wouldn’t be here. She is super knowledgeable about animals and shared some tips/tricks for separation anxiety and leash pulling. She was also very respectful of our home. We absolutely recommend her services :).”

About: I’ve taken care of many different furry friends since I was 14. As soon as I moved in with my roommates I was more open to taking care different types of pets. I do have a morning job. I am available after 3:30pm. Just give me a heads up if you’re interested so I can work around my schedule. I am looking to further my knowledge on taking care of many different loving animals. I’m excited to meet new furry friends and reptiles! I will always stay on top of your pets schedule, weather it’s walking them on a specific time or feeding them. About: I've always had dogs my whole life. Friends and family can always rely on me to take care of their pets or check in on their pets whenever they are out of town or busy at work. I will feed, walk, and play for however much time is needed. I currently work early mornings but there is someone always at the house to feed, play and keep your furry friends company! My whole day after work is completely open so I can't wait to take care of them. Huge fenced yard as well as a my own pet to play with your furry friend if needed. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied as well as plenty of treats to spoil them.
