About: Hi my name is Nina! I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and over the last 2 years I’ve truly fallen in love with pet care. I am trustworthy, flexible and go above and beyond for your furry friend. Just as I would take care of my own! I’ve worked professionally as a pet sitter including drop ins, long walks and over two weeks at my clients home. Taking care of your home as much and I do your pet! I am a lover of all animals but more than that, I am comfortable with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, medicated pups and those that are a bit anxious. I’ve found that home sitting keeps your animals the most comfortable while they stay on their normal routine and meet a new friend! Clients in the past have said I am patient, adaptable, trustworthy and truly go above and beyond for your pup just as I would my own. I’d love the opportunity to gain a new furry friend and hope to take any anxiety away from leaving your baby. I’m currently working as a freelance digital marketing contractor so my days are mostly spend at home. I am extremely flexible when it comes to overnights and walks, accommodating my customers needs. I am happy to stay overnight as needed as well’ I treat your home as if it were my own and my goal is to leave it cleaner than I arrived. When it comes to your pups night routine, I am happy to cuddle up with them or crate the as needed. It’s truly up to what their normal routine includes and I follow!

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens. As a child we also had a hermit crab and guinea pigs. Pet care never stops at my house, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 chickens keep me busy! I have experience with guinea pigs and hermit crabs as well. About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, from my friends to family all having different breeds of dogs! I am very active, so dogs with lots of energy and needing lots of walks are no problem for me! I have dog sit before. I have a love for all animals and whatever comes with them. I am currently working a summer job, mainly all day, but I have no problem waking up early to walk a pet before work or after work, even during lunch! My weekends are normally always free! And Fridays I can tend to the pet more due to having half days. I do not offer services at my house due to having cats who are shy. But in my clients home I will do anything they need me to do regarding their pet. It is my job to make sure their furry baby is in the best hands!

For the past 3 years I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple families, stayed over to care for pets overnight, worked as a dog walker, and always love playing and meeting new pups. I have cared for multiple pets at once, am consistent with feeding and walking schedules, have cared for pets of all ages, and love to share updates and pictures of your pup. I am a graduate student based in Lake Bluff who loves animals! I have a car and a lot of morning and evening flexibility with some mid-day flexibility as well to feed, walk, or check in on pets. I am also available for overnight stays to ensure your pet is cared for overnight. Because of my flexible schedule, I am available for last minute bookings to help care for your pet in any way needed. I can’t wait to meet new furry friends! I feel comfortable staying in clients home if needed, dropping in to walk or feed pets, and crating pets if needed. I’ve had repeat clientele for whom I’ve cared for free roam and crated pets, dogs with special care needs, stayed overnight both short and long term, and worked as a dog walker. My own dog is a small, 18 lbs, friendly dog who loves to meet new friends. I have experience with my own and other pets and thus have a good understanding of animal body language, building trust, and understand that a good pet sitter should get to know your pet on their own terms. I am also willing to do meet and greats to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable with the match.

About: I grew up with dogs, but didn't get my own until about 6 years ago. Since then, life has revolved around our pup! I love to walk and will tend to any needs your dog may have. My own pup has a digestive disease, so I am comfortable with giving meds and following strict dietary plans. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup and how important it is to have reliable, loving care! I am very flexible with my time! I am usually available between 8 am and 9 pm. Please let me know your pet’s usual routine, and I will work around your schedule. I would appreciate knowing all about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes so I can provide the most consistent care possible. Please document instructions for feeding, exercise, potty habits, and any other needs your pet may have.

About: Hi! I am a Senior at Lake Forest College studying Psychology on a pre-nursing track. I grew up in Boise, Idaho surrounded by animals, both my own and others’. Growing up I had a high-energy dog, many hamsters, a leopard gecko, and a cat. I also spent my entire high school career volunteering at my local humane society, working with both dogs and cats. This has given me experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. You can trust me with your pets like they are my own. I have a passion for the outdoors and am an athlete, so I love any excuse to get some exercise. I also love reading, knitting, watching shows, and studying. You will receive a detailed update after every visit, including photos and a confirmation that your pet is fed, and safe. +When walking your dog, safety is my absolute priority. I perform a 'gear check' before we leave the house to ensure collars and leashes are secure. I stick to familiar, safe routes and am always mindful of the environment—keeping an eye out for other dogs, traffic, or unsafe debris on the sidewalk. I am also happy to follow any specific training commands you use to keep your dog's routine consistent. +For cat visits, I focus on maintaining a low-stress environment. I am extremely careful when entering and exiting to ensure your cat doesn't slip out the door. I respect their space, letting them approach me at their own pace. If your cat requires a special diet or medication, I double-check instructions to ensure feedings are administered exactly as requested.
