I am trustworthy, flexible and go above and beyond for your furry friend. Just as I would take care of my own! I’ve worked professionally as a pet sitter including drop ins, long walks and over two weeks at my clients home. Taking care of your home as much and I do your pet! I am a lover of all animals but more than that, I am comfortable with elderly dogs, dogs with special needs, medicated pups and those that are a bit anxious. About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. For the past 3 years I’ve taken care of dogs for multiple families, stayed over to care for pets overnight, worked as a dog walker, and always love playing and meeting new pups. I have cared for multiple pets at once, am consistent with feeding and walking schedules, have cared for pets of all ages, and love to share updates and pictures of your pup. I am a graduate student based in Lake Bluff who loves animals! I have a car and a lot of morning and evening flexibility with some mid-day flexibility as well to feed, walk, or check in on pets. I am also available for overnight stays to ensure your pet is cared for overnight. Because of my flexible schedule, I am available for last minute bookings to help care for your pet in any way needed. I can’t wait to meet new furry friends! About: I have had pets since I was 1 years old - whatever my parents let me get away with (dog, cats, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs). As an adult I continue to own cats and dogs and currently own 2 cats. I will treat your pet as a member of my family while in my care. I nursed my cat to health from losing a kidney and he lived till he was 17yo. I nursed my geriatric dog with eye disease, arthritis until he was 14.5yo. I am more experienced with adult and geriatric pets than babies but welcome all. I am seeking supplemental income due to healthcare expenses. I'm also healing from CIRS/Lyme and need a walking partner to improve my health! My schedule is flexible although I do often have evening commitments with my son and his activities. My yard is large and fenced in. I live next to several walking trails and have a quiet neighborhood. I live close to a dog park and dog beach. I am familiar with crate training and administering medications.

About: I’ve grown up with a taken care of dogs my entire life. We have a lively and loving home full of two children and our 1.5 year old dog. I will make sure your dog is fed, played with, walked and loved on constantly. I am currently a med student, so I have classes from 8 am until about 2 pm and then I’m available to be home studying and taking breaks to walk and love on your pet. We have an apartment so no fenced yards here unfortunately. But we have walking trails around the complex and I would love to walk your pet around there. I stick to familiar, safe routes and am always mindful of the environment—keeping an eye out for other dogs, traffic, or unsafe debris on the sidewalk. I am also happy to follow any specific training commands you use to keep your dog's routine consistent. +For cat visits, I focus on maintaining a low-stress environment. I am extremely careful when entering and exiting to ensure your cat doesn't slip out the door. I respect their space, letting them approach me at their own pace.
